The JalopyJournal is down right now. My user name is LowKat on the HAMB too. I came over here to fill my 'net addiction. This place looks like a good time and I'm gonna' cruise around some more. Lots of great info here.

About me:
My name is Mark. Live near Portland Oregon. Still married to my high school sweetheart for 38 years Retired from carpentry but still sorta working.

I'm an old gearhead that grew up with muscle cars but can't afford them nowdays. I have a modest one car garage and a carport. Just somewhere to work on my old 48 Ford pickup.

I like putting project cars together and also like wooden projects. I have been known to carve tiki or two. I love to collect "old junk".

Current project is a 1961 Siesta "canned ham" 10 foot travel trailer. The trailer's interior is nearly finished other than curtains and new cushion covers but there's plenty to do on the exterior. My winter hibernation is just about finished and I'll get back on it.

The day I picked it up.

Welcome from another HAMBer. You may find when the HAMB is having problems this site is as well seeing Ryan has them all running together. Sadly often noticeable that both sites have problems at the same time. I believe I have been following a build on the HAMB of your F1

Lots of dual-site players here. You'll fit in well with that nice shop and cool rides. I have a 46 Merc with flathead 8, among other stuff. Me thinks you'll find it plenty friendly here.

Now lets see more of your stuff!! ;)

Smokey was my hero in the early 70's. I wanted to build my 1st engine as a teenager and followed an article he had published in Hot Rod? (40 yrs ago) about a SBC build. I did exactly what he recommended and it was a long living screamer.
