Sorry for the late update guys. 2014 was spent working on my house rather than on (or sadly in) the garage.

I remember this getting started when you posted pics over at AP. I'd say the place turned out great. I'd think you got it done in time to enjoy this long cold winter.

Yes I did, and thank you for following both threads. Though I didn't get to work on many projects out in the garage this past year, it has made for a fantastic escape and has also made doing the routine maintenance on my fleet of vehicles a breeze!

Very nice place you have, love the "state property" sign

Awesome transformation! The 'State Property' sign made me lol

Haha I "found" that sign out in western Oklahoma years ago when I was interning for the oil field. It was positioned on a road going underneath the interstate, and there was another one just like it on the other side of the underpass for the opposite direction traffic. I almost drove off the road when I first went by going "did that sign really just say that!"

Nice work...awesome transformation!

Thanks for taking the time to look and reply! I still appreciate the feedback guys.

I see you have a bladder tank and heater. did the garage have water to it or what are you using to supply it?

No, the garage did not originally have water to it. I live out in a rural area and am on a well. I simply paid a local company to come out with a small trencher, tap into the main line that goes to my house, and then run new line 25 yards or so to the shop. They capped it off with a ball valve as soon as they came up through the floor and I took it from there.

I am going to subscribe to your thread because I find all of your updates really cool... I also like the projects you are working on! What engine is that that you have on the stand? Very well done for a guy in his 20s for sure!

Well thank you for the compliment, and the follow! The engine on the stand is currently a 302 that originally came out of the yellow/primer mustang. I bought the car as a roller and put an existing powertrain that I knew was good in it to get it up and running. Plan this year is to tear it down and build a 347 stroker out of it.

Cool be sure to document the engine build on here... Half of my thread is about my car projects and no one seems to mind...

Glad you you are alive, well and making some updates. I haven't been to AP in a long time to see what's going on. Hopefully, most of the crew is doing well also.

So this weekend I was finally able to install something that had been planned from the beginning, but I kept forgetting to buy.

After

My mother remembered that I had been wanting one and got this for me when she was in San Antonio over New Years. haha Now I can stop looking for a hammer or screwdriver to open my beers.

Poured the concrete aprons in front of both garage doors back in November, and just finished up the driveway a few weeks ago.

Well, now I know why it was free. I was able to wire it up and try it out last night. The tank is no good. Multiple pinholes and leaks in the bottom of it. So if anyone knows how to get a hold of a 60 - 80 gallon tank, let me know.

Nice job on the garage, you really made a great work space out of it. Also nice to see another fox guy on here. Looking forward on seeing how the car and the garage progress.

Car parts are slowly starting to roll in for the fox. 4 or 5 months from now, you should see a completely different car! In other news, Santa came just a little early at my place!!!

Now I'm part of the cool kids club! Seriously though, these things are a good buy and extremely handy.

Is the compressor posted I. August the same one? Or brand new?

The compressor in my August posts was junked. I kept the motor and compressor to resell, but the tank had holes in it so I gave it to a friend to make a smoker out of. The Puma compressor was a brand new unit.

Wow, it's been a while since I updated this! Sad that TinyPic shut down and so all my original photos are gone. :( I still have them on my personal computer though, so they aren't lost. Just no longer shared with the world.

I can't believe I've got this long without a vise though. That changed this weekend. I have less than $300 in this and all weighs about 265 lbs. My new addition!
