I'm sure this one has been posted before but the tool creeper is a huge pass for me. At $15 it's well worth it. Has a little steel plate to stick a flashlight to.

Was planning to wait till Labor Day sale to get it. But I decided to just pick it up this past Monday. Monday I woke up & had a 30% off $20 & under coupon in my email. Nice, perfect timing! Got it for $10.50, couldn't be happier at that price.

The one on the left, the one on the right I like a lot too, for smaller jobs, but it's not from HF.

Put it to good use yesterday and today/right now. Such a time saver for me being able to just roll everything to the other side when needed.

Agreed -- that tool creeper is such a ridiculously handy thing and it only costs a pittance. I don't know why I never even saw or heard of the idea before. Off the charts value.

It's the cat's *** for any job, but for two-sided stuff like brake jobs it's the entire luxurious feline.

I think the only possible thing one could add would be a lock on one of the wheels. I'm often grubbing around in my sloped driveway, and so I have to take care it doesn't start rolling downhill.

I hear ya. It's so unbelieveably handy, heck I don't even own a creeper for myself to lay on. I had no idea HF even sold these, I never noticed them before in the store, probably cuse they don't have one out for display. Saw it randomly on their website when I was searching for something else.

Yep, yesterday when I was working on the rear, it wanted to roll down my driveway which is also sloped. I just kept putting my impact to block it. WhenIi took that pic I just turned 2 of the castors sideways & it stayed in place. My driveway slopes a lot so I don't do much work out there, just oil changes. Plus I can't jack up a vehicle on my driveway because of the slope.

I absolutely love this thing!

I haven’t gotten a hf coupon in a long time, even though I’m signed up. What gives?

I haven’t bought anything from HF in almost 2yrs, and I still get coupons in my email. Check with your local store to see if you’re still in their system, or resign on the website.

Now that they brought the coupons back I get the specific item coupons all the time. Like before they're usually useless for me, ai just care about the 20-25%. But they didn't bring back the 20% coupon like it was before. Before there was pretty much one available all the time. Now the 20% coupons are like how they did the 25% before. Usually holidays, etc.

This past Monday I did get my very first targeted one time use coupon with no exclusions, there was 3 of them. I used the 30% off under $20. Was perfect timing too cause I needed to get something that day & was gonna pay full price.

Check the HF coupon thread if you don't get em, someone usually posts them. And all the individual item coupons you can see them on their website. https://www.harborfreight.com/coupons

It's funny - your pix with the tools in that thing could be taken in my garage ;) (lots of same stuff)

Same here. I'm an Inside Track member and had the store check to make sure my account was correct. In the last year I bought a 14" Bandsaw, a Fortress compressor, a 2hp electric motor and some smaller items. I get an electronic receipt, so I know they have it, but NEVER coupons. At this point I ask for the manager, show him my ITC member card and ask for the discount of whatever coupon is going on. Worked on all those things above. Still annoying though.

I’m in the system at the store (itc shows up under my phone number) and have an online account. I buy stuff every so often including a 56” box early in the year.

I purchased these about 4 years ago, to help my son troubleshoot the A/C on an old Explorer. He did the quick can recharge, so I never even used them, until recently.

The AC was out on both Silverado's and knowing almost nothing about A/C and troubleshooting with gauges, it was time to ask questions here and watch endless YouTube videos. Well, I got the AC on both working, but I was impressed with the fit and quality of these, which have been hooked up and removed many times on both vehicles, during this "learning experience".

Removed them this morning and they are still holding the pressure readings.

Anyway, a PASS for them and they are on sale for $45 through today with coupon.

I had a set of gauges from HF and they broke after a couple uses. I didn't abuse them either. Ended up buying a higher end brass set. Kept the box the HF gauges came in and the box now holds the new set. Threw the HF ones away.

That said, the ones at HF today look to be a little better quality than the set I had.

The set I have is made of brass. I don't remember them using any other material. :dunno:

I recently took them apart and packed back in the case. They were still holding the same pressure readings, a month later.

Bought a #57337 5000 lumen work light. When opened the box, it was the identical Husky HD5000PUO light. Works fine, no long term experience yet. Moral of the story, don’t pay the extra $15 at HD.

I bought these and both are a pass for me and probably a one time use tool so price was the driving factor.

I needed a short #2 Philips screw driver, but just a bit longer than my old Craftsman stubby.

I needed a long pair of 45 degree angled needle nose pliers to reach an electrical connector buried inside my car dash. These worked excellent.

Got one of these recently.....REALLY handy light for working on vehicles. I'm going to buy a couple more. They don't last too long on high but with a couple more, I can have one on the charger, one spare, and one in use. I think I can get 2-3 hrs of run time on high per charge. The manual says 2 hrs on high. Pretty durable too.

Yeah they have them in yellow, blue, red, and green. They are so small and the magnet is strong so you can put them right near what you are working on and light up the immediate area. I was working on a Jeep TJ exhaust system yesterday and where the pre cat catalytic converters/down pipes bolt to the manifold, there isn't much room and there's no room for large lights. I was able to mount it up top on the fender and then install the bolts from below. Worked light a charm. It blinks a few times when it's close to running out of battery.

Oddly enough, the yellow light says it uses a micro USB cord to charge it but the other colors use a USB-C cord. The blue one I have definitely uses a USB-C.

The picture definitely shows a micro USB cable. Gotta love HF QA!

New ones are usb-c, old ones are not. Blue, green, and red lights are all "new", yellow could possibly be either/or depending on how old it is. My yellow is old style, my green is new with usb-c.

I recently purchased the led necklight and I have been enjoying it. Thumbs up there.

The ITC monthly discounts are in the Harbor Freight app. Thats all they get. Some algorithm gives out 25% coupons to unloyal non regular shoppers while Harbor Freight figures they already have ITC members anyway and doesn’t provide any real perk discounts anymore.

That's not even remotely true. ITC got me one of those angle die grinders for like $5 that broke within a couple days.

Well technically it still works but I gotta slap the wire wheel to get it to start spinning. Not ideal. 🙄

I've been a member for over a year and I don't have an app. I get emails, and publicly sent updates on sales. The sales show ITC discounts are greater than non-ITC. It paid for itself on my first purchase. When I renewed, it was again the first purchase that paid for itself. I scoffed at the idea of ITC initially, but the numbers don't lie. I'm happy with my results.

All get everything through email before and after my ITC membership. I don't have the app and I get the coupons. You could try unsubscribing and resubscribing online. I do have an online account with them. I don't shop HF often. A few times per year.

I'm ITC. I keep a list of what I want and when it goes on ITC sale or coupon sale I go down to the store. I used to bring coupons for those items, but the clerk told me that if I'm ITC I get the coupon item discount automatically. I checked the receipt and he was 100% correct, all the coupon items were discounted to the with coupon price. I don't bother to bring the coupons anymore. I do still check the receipt everytime to make sure, though.

I joined ITC for the first time ever this year and it’s already paid for itself.

I don’t think I even get “coupons” but if something qualifies for the discount and I have at check out, they just give me the discount.

Not really rocket science.

Whether it’s “worth it” depends on how much stuff you buy that qualifies for the discount. :headscrat

You convinced me to pick one up.

Grabbed a magnetic tray and already had the LED lights with mag bases. Bolted in a metal plate to hold the mag tray and added a rope to drag the creeper around.20221217_144200.jpg20221217_144222.jpg

I saw all the good reviews on this and don't know why I don't yet have one. Tools and fasteners always end up all over the garage floor.

Needed something for the xmas list, this is going on.

Bought the Pittsburgh 1 1/4 lb hatchet yesterday for spitting kindling. For $14 (10% coupon) it's a definite pass. I had to sort through a few to get the nicest one with straight grained handle and semi symmetrical cutting edge. Spent about 20 minutes scraping the coating off the handle and profiling the cutting edge a bit. It's no Granfors but for the price it's surprisingly nice.
