I've owned one for about two weeks now. The first one stopped working within the first 5-10 minutes of polishing a hood. At first I thought the breaker went and shut the power off, but nope it was the polisher it just stopped working. Nothing would get it to turn back on, the motor was actually stuck and wouldn't spin. I went back and had them switch it out for another one which has been working great so far. Was able to polish two cars with it. If you apply too much pressure with it wont rotate to keep from burning the paint like it should, it's pretty gentle. Also has a variable speed dial from 1-6. I'd give it a 50/50 since the first one I got stopped working in such a short time.

Thanks! Sale price of $59 less 20% seems to be a good deal - makes it one third the cost of the Porter Cable at Lowe's. Will likely give it a go.
Never had that problem before. Traditionally the 20% coupons are good on regular sale prices and are only excluded from special sales (i.e., tent sales, black friday, etc).
It would be a huge change in HF policy if they weren't.
Were you able to use the 20% off coupon on that sale price? The fine print for that coupon seems to indicate that it is only good on regular priced items.
I've never seen a winch that switches polarity (like the stupid 2-wire lock actuators in my truck) to switch direction, so at the simplest, it's a matter of 12V in, and 12V out to either in or out... SPDT switch. Obviously the wireless setup will need a ground, too. It's as simple as lopping the plug off, giving the box a power and ground, and figuring out which of the remaining wires is for in and which is for out. Just splice 'em to the solenoid/contactor terminals, just like the controller plug.I'd give it a try for $20... if I do, I'll post it here!

I don't have a pass-fail for this reply. However when I was at my local HF store, I saw a customer's truck with a bumper sticker that said "Buy American - Buy Union".

No problem. Has anyone bought the flex head ratcheting wrenches? (68953 & 68955) What I'm specifically interested in is if the hinges stay 'stiff' for any length of time or if they get wobbly/loose and won't stay where you need. They seem ok in the store but so did the Gearwrench ones, but they went flaccid after a few uses.
speaking of stubby has anyone used the 7 Piece Stubby Ratcheting Combo Wrench Set 93923 or 93922?

3/8" butterfly impact wrench Item#93100 -- Fail
No power (nowhere near the 75 ft lb advertised), pees oil and very, very loud.
Perhaps you might check your air supply, if you use an air line smaller than about 3/8" then you arent giving it the fpm it needs.
Put a layer of plastic over it before you pick them up. Makes it easier to peel them off.8 dollar magnet on handle, with quick release. PASS
only thing, small metals dont fall off very easy, like brad nails.
Do you have a breakdown pic of the carburetor? In most cases if it will only run on choke or partial choke, it may be the pilot jet. That is the low speed jet with the smallest orifice, and as such is easily clogged with any debris or particulates. Which model is it?

Does this look like the carb?
it has a vent in the metal cap?Be sure the vent in the fuel tank cap isn't plugged. It could be causing a vacuum and not letting the fuel flow.
