This a a product that HF built their reputation on.
Complete FAIL out of the package.
The threaded rod wouldn't thread into the main piece. (Thread size didn't match)
Then the whole thing snapped in half at the black plastic housing.
What did you do to it? stick it in a blender? Go back get another one, I have had one for 4 years, works great and it is sturdy.

I've had one for a few years and it's still in fine shape - and I'm 240lbs. The best feature is the cut-outs for the shoulders. The old style metal framed creepers left me with sore and bruised shoulders. Even if this one bites the dust, I'll get another for the comfort.
I went today and got my $3 back, maybe yours it better but the piece that cracked looked like it was held together with Elmer's glue. I've had luck with many other products there but I would not recommend this one.
I've had one for three to four years and its still going strong.

I have the Chicago Electric 120v spot welder # 45689, as well as the Chicago Electric stud welder # 98357.
Both have worked well for me. The stud welder did stop working once, but I took it apart and repaired a bad connection and it has been working fine since.

Don't get that one. I had it and return it right after I bought it. The speed adjustment *****. I have the red one now with the electronic adjustment. I've had it prob 2 years now. Works great. It's not a dewalt. It Boggs down a bit when using. For what I payed for it, it works great.

I got it based off the feedback in this thread. Been using it for a little bit with no problems. I think I got it for like 12 bucks after sale and 25% coupon. Definitely no complaints for that price.

I look at them and they seem a bit cheap. I opted out and got the wooden handle ball pein.
I've never paid more than $5 for one of them, have two or three, pass but don't recommend. It has its uses, its worth $5, but most people will be better off buying a decent $25 tender.
If the wall wart unplugs, the red LED will stay on til your battery is dead.
If your battery is low, or you have more than a small drain on your car, overheats.

i have that polisher.. I've used it for buffing out a fairing i painted and it worked great. I have also used it to buff out a scratched solid surface counter with great results also.
I'd give it a pass
PS i used 3M polishing compounds on both projects

if its the yellow 5 piece set them
got a set for work as a fill in set use them every day for the last 3 years
they rock, the heads are a little soft they will mark up but its not a problem
have a set of craftsman wooded handle must have warranted them for lose handles 3 or more times
I have one and it drags the ground when I sit in the middle, but is OK when I lay down on it. I weigh well under the 300lb. limit. For 30 bucks, it is a good deal. I read that the casters break off sometimes after some use. I haven't had that happen... yet.
400 Amp Welding Ground Clamp

I replaced a cheapo ground clamp on my Hobart mig welder with this and noticed a big improvement in the erratic arc I had been experiencing before.
Note that the ground wire connection is very large, for a 2/0 cable or larger. I placed a piece of copper inside it to help take up some of the space before tightening, since my ground wire only filled up half of the diameter.
These clamps are well worth the price. They also double as workout equipment to increase your grip strength.

Hmmm. I've looked in several magazines I take and don't remember ever having seen this item at that price! I looked at the store today and they were $19.99 (sale price). Even with a 25% coupon they would come to 15 bucks. Am I missing something?

Thanks! Hope they don't have to scan the bar code though because it really looks all run together. I did use the online coupons for the free stuff recently though and they just tore off and kept the coupon. She didn't even try to scan it. Hopefully that's how this one will work.

The lift slides right under and picks up the entrire dragster with ease. I'm using the dirt bike stand to stabilize the front end of the dragster. The lift and the stand are working perfectly even though I'm not using them for their intended purpose. I buy quite a bit of stuff from HF.I personally would be hesitant to buy anything that plugs in and is left unatended for long periods of time. I don't think this is something I would "cheap out" on.
Is this better? I got it out of some Arkansas magazine online but I'm sure it works anywhere
Yeah, that one looks clearer. I used the first one in store yesterday and the clerk tried two or three times to type in the code and none of them worked so he keyed in miscellaneous (?) discount, got the manager's approval and I was out the door.
I also got the 130 piece tool kit (68998) that was sale priced at 29.99 and used the 25% coupon on it to bring it down to 22.49. I'm going to keep it out at camp so I don't have to dig the tool kit out of my truck every time I need to deal with a nut, bolt, screw...whatever. The sockets look pretty thin walled and may not stand up to much every day heavy use but even if one should fail? In this situation I can still always go for the good tools I keep in the truck.
Plus, another heads up: Now, till the end of the month there are 6 items totally free. Just walk in present the coupons and get em. (One item per customer per day). The coupons pop up first thing when you open the HF page.

I use that creeper I'm 126 lb so sitting on it is no problem, it comes in handy and way better then scooting on the ground.
I have that battery tender and I left it connected for 3 months and no issues.
Can anyone give any input on the mechanic's gloves that HF sells? I see three different ones all under the Western Safety brand...
