My wife and I have lived here for nearly 6 years and the garage never had a car parked in it due to our remodel work on the house and the fact that it is set back within our back yard fence. I have had the chance to put up some cabinets and install some storage but now am trying to maximize the final layout as we hope to be able to sell the house next year due to growing out of it. These picture show the general state of things, too many project and nowhere to put anything. More to come.

For more information, it is about 14x22 and the OHD is about 8x7. when I replaced the original door we had to remove the top plate bracing in the area so I moved it up the rafters to clear the track and door. This gives 8 feet clear when the door is closed. I ended up using that for storage of house materials (extra siding, longer wood and metal materials, etc.) on the back wall I made a small loft for shorter storage and have gardening tools on the left and boxes of auto/machine parts. the pictures in the post above show the process of moving the cabinets from the right wall to the back. The cabinets are only 12" deep which works great to give a work surface and some storage but the drawer are nearly useless. I moved all the items from the drawers to my new cabinet, below. I think I am going to remove the bench/table in the left back corner and shift the cabinet to the back wall to give a bit more working room, but would like advise on how to handle it.

The mobile items that I have in the garage are the weld cart(only flux core right now, but am on the lookout for a mig conversion kit), the medical cart (part of the purchase of the GS550E, total price: $100, and the table saw (need to make better platform for mobility. Everything else is just in the way right now.
