According to two articles I saw today Honda is bringing back the Element in 2029. I will not believe it until I see one in the flesh but it is good news that they may finally have listened to the public's ongoing requests. Our 2011 Element is approaching 170k miles, I know it should run forever but I would definitely look into replacing it if a newer improved model should appear.

That was such a COOL vehicle ! The funny thing is, like the Ford Flex, it was most popular with the over 50/60 crowd !

The one thing the Element enthusiasts always wanted was more power. Enough to tow a 2000 lb trailer. Hybrid would be good as long as there was version that could tow !

Yeah the element was never a **** car, but rather a practical one. A tool like any other. Easy to maintain K series motor and a functional interior from what I’ve seen.

The problem with cars post-2016 is the never ending list of “features” that target the luxury-minded consumption heavy demographic. Simple utilitarian vehicles are those of a bygone era, and we aren’t getting that back. I have very low hopes for a new Element that will satisfy car people.

Hopefully they’ll put the sun roof over the driver this time, rather than in the back; cause most of us don’t have surf boards.
