I was at Home Depot and noticed this and I had to buy it.

It's a Craftsmen stamped 6 inch extension in Husky brand packaging. All the other extensions we're stamped Husky but otherwise appeared to be the same. I assume they are made in the same factory and it just got mis-packaged. Is this a post Stanley buyout product?

Hard to get a good photo when it's shiny but hopefully you can read it.

I'm sure it's not earth shattering news but it is kind of interesting.

Best regards,

Also, couldn’t someone have inadvertently switched the extensions by pulling them off the black part?

Do they restock returns like that? I have never worked in retail.

When I worked at Wal-Mart they put out Kobalt and Craftsman gloves sent in by mistake and once took a set of thermal underwear with SEARS printed about 3 inches high right in the middle of the front of the packaging.

both Sears Crafsman and Gearwrench are made by Apex so its possible to see something like this

Matco's silver eagle line is/was the same OEM (Apex), someone had gotten a silver eagle item with a set of Husky something or others and posted pic's.

That extension would likely be pre-SBD Craftsman.

Sears Craftsman and Husky come out of the same Asian factories.

I don’t think a return could be reinstalled on the peg board hanger; perhaps with glue. Most likely it was just a screw up in China. It would probably sell on eBay for double the retail price since it says Craftsman on it.

As someone said, Apex is the OEM behind Sears Craftsman and Husky for lots of items, including extensions. Since they are likely coming from the same factory, one getting mixed in with the wrong name stamped on it is well within the realm of possibility.

Well, I've got bunches of New Britain Craftsman....
Either someone returned a Craftsman to HD, or someone in a Chinese Apex factory can't read English

" The Husky Craftsman " sounds like the title character of good woodworking show
Well I am Husky but I have never been accused of being a Craftsman. I will sell you the rights to the title [emoji6]

I look forward to your new show.

I've got a Craftsman/Kobalt socket but I bet that item is a returned item.

Is it a CMan USA ? I doubt it, but if it was, I would have bought it.

Saw this awhile back....Duralast on one side, Husky on the other. The children assemblers must have not been given breakfast. Easy warranty at either store.lol

About 20 years ago the Husky pro series wrenches & the Craftsman pro series were identical apart from the name. Not sure they were imported then, possibly Danaher?
