Im new here and this is my first post. I recently hired a handyman to help me with some wiring issues and now, I fear he's done it all wrong. I will try to post some pictures.

Pic 01 shows the meter on the pole with power running to the box with the pull out fuses underneath. From there, power runs down the pole underground, up the trailer and into the fuse box in the bedroom closet. Power also runs from pull out fuse box to the fuse box with the round fuses right next to it.

Pics 03 and 04 show close-ups of the meter and box.

I'm not sure what you are asking. I see very little new work that can be commented on.

Two biggies I see are WHY a main lug panel? And that 3-wire URD you got is not right. You need a 4-wire feeder cable, with a separate ground wire, and also you need a ground rod at the separate structure. Or is that a trailer?? I see what looks like a trailer outside, then I see what looks like a block wall and framing inside.
The pics are not very good to let us know what's going on.

I got to agree with Speedy on this. Even all kinds of maintenance electricians are not familiar enough with codes and just havnt done the new service install work with inspections to get it right.

I got a call a while back from a plumber and at first I thought dumb azz but on further reflection I could see the confusion, it wasn't as straight up as adding a breaker wire to the water heater but was to an lod fuse box (with ample capacity) but needed to be tapped with local ocpd in this case etc that is although simple can get fu upped. Didn't understand some of these installs when I was a kid, most are gone but,,, on occasion have an inspection turn down to fix and its not always an owner but often handyman work.

Did one last spring, the handy did a fair job but missed some wire protection, some bushings and landed the N and G on the same bar in the sub,, with no bond to the can, the branches were grounded (not separately)but,,, I went home and got a bar, some pipe for the riser, got 1 N under a screw, put in 2 gfci and a switch to an entrance in a shed as I recall. I must have opened the box at the main to make sure it wasn't double wired under screws.

He had all the grounds twisted, I see a wire landed on the devices, didn't check it all. I had a helper and it still took better than a couple hrs to fix most of the violations. Added a rod too.

I ran across a couple un grounded boxes lately.
