The Infamous Robo-Grip vs SmartGrip

Looking at everyone's toolboxes, we all have a Sears Robo-Grip and it's always getting bashed for slippage. So I was looking at the "KNIPEX SmartGrip". For those who have one, are they similar? Would you recommend a pair? Please feel free to elaborate on your responses. Thanks

They are a better tool then the robo grip. But I am not a fan of the smart grip.
