Sorry I don't have an actual photo to post as I am in the planning stages as well.
In planning my garage there was one online photo that was exactly what I wanted. It showed a wall lined with red Lista cabinets under a stainless steel counter. on the wall were matching red metal cabinets with glass doors.
I've come to the realization that too much storage is not a good idea in that it will just become a convenient place to stash junk that otherwise would be in my wife's way. I am lucky enough to have a small shed to keep yard tools and bicycles. Those items, along with Christmas decorations, any type of clothing and boxes of clutter are banned from my garage once it's finished.
When I'm done building the plan is to line the 21' rear wall with three work benches and to put cabinets underneath. Actually one of the benches has metal sliding doors and the other two are just open benches. I'll either find some cabinets or build some to fit there. Storage will be limited to tools and car parts. I'll let you know how that works out!
