Saturday night Journeyman Klein bump just for giggles.
Klein / chanellock/ crescent , really made great stuff American pliers are great ,the journeyman series by Klein are first class .
30 years ago these tools would of been considered quality insulated tools suitable for LIVE electrical work , when did the vde debate and grading system start in America? ( sure there has been cementex type tools around for a long time but they are HV ) . Here in Australia it has not been a issue . heres a example the pair I posted earlier this week are rated by Klein but are not comparable to the Ins 12098 .

I won a giveaway on the Klein Tools Collectors Facebook group. These minis are only sold in Australia and New Zealand! I will be sharing them with a fellow Kleinaholic friend of mine :)
Tradezone are a good supplier in Aus for all things Klein at the best price point

One of the guys on the Klein Tools group on facebook arranged a group buy of these commemorative pliers that are only being sold in Ireland/England.
Ironic that they were made in Texas, sent overseas, then back to me in Ohio!

part of my restore haul yesterday was this Klein pouch
If you look at my cover photo this pouch is sitting out front from 30 years ago ( exact same pouch ) it got wet unfortunately and fell apart , here is my pouch from 1980 though the Klein cable cutters were stolen

Here’s my flea market Klein pouch score. I like the older Klein leather. Pouches are sized and formed to the tools better then the newer products. B2804250-3AAA-4AF0-A752-88FCB5008ADA.jpeg
It is a great find and something I would be proud to have in my man cave .They were designed for slim lined pvc or bare metal tools rather than the tenite or better insulated tools of the day ideal and even dewalt based their pouches on same idea .
you could say copied Klein, I’ve added 2 photos ,one with older style tools it works well , one with new style tools where the front plier pouches don’t work, they fall out real easy and not fit for purpose .

What a great find wow! My foreman had a Stahwillie one in the 80s, but the cost was ridiculous and unaffordable , fantastic item for switchboard ( electrical cabinet work ,on circuit breakers and busbars ) love your stuff
