Yes, I know the auction is over... but look at this!

Going by the label design, this model 600 Xtra-Tool 1/2" drill/driver/hammer drill and chisel appears to be one of the last ever made! This design has been largely unchanged for over 20 years.

I can still remember the television commercials for those, I worked at a company in the early 80's that had one in their maintenance shop, I remember the, beating the **** out them and they still kept going. In reality they were undersized for many of the tasks it was used for. I remember having to use it in hammer only mode with one of their chisels to peel up about 300 sq.ft. of tile (probably asbestos filled from the late 50's), it did the job but got pretty hot, I remember using it while holding a few rags to insulate my hands - of course I didn't think about the rags blocking airflow, and I wondered why it was getting hot.
