STELLA: no kidding your place looks GREAT!!!

well done sir!!

I have more than a fair amount of clover in my little front yard and I quit trying to kill it a few years ago when our August temps stayed in the 90's all month. the clover supposedly retains water better than grass and stays greener especially if your area has a water shortage or ban of watering lawns.

here's my HUGE maybe 1000 square foot lawn to compare to your park like one.

cheers and keep up the great work and stop by more often even if not much going on and look in on my thread if you are bored and see if you can help me correct some DIY mistake cause i'm still learning that is for certain.

I just found this thread. Great place you have there! I'm in a much more urban setting so seeing members in rural settings building is something I really enjoy seeing. Great work! I love that driveway!!!!

Nice place not sure how I missed your thread before. The name caught my attention because I had to run a bag of jigs out to a bud of mine. He was trimming a house very near the end of your road last week. Cheers from London, ON.

Drives- Your yard looks great. I am also not too concerned with the clover that much since the bees like it....and they could use a little help too. We only water the gardens and trees. Usually by August the grass starts to get a little dry and brown.

48RON54- Thanks, we are happy it’s finally done.

Doug Arthurs-Hi neighbour. We know the couple that are building down the road here.....it’s a really nice place and property.

Stella: congrats on the grandaughter that will hopefully come out with all 10 fingers and toes and grab GRANDPA'S heart.

that is a cool old shed you have on the property and i'm very impressed with the cement stamped driveway or patio in front of it. whoever did that work really knows how. do you have any pictures of it being poured or laid if it might be blocks and not stamped concrete?

another weekend is here so hope you enjoy having a clean garage now that the party is over.

cheers

Drives- we our very excited to meet our new granddaughter, late November or early December. The driveway is not stamped concrete but concrete pavers. When I took pictures the crew was already gone for the day. I do have pics of the progress though.

It’s so nice to have a clean barn...actually all of the junk is behind the curtain lol but at least it’s getting organized.

STELLA: I'm guessing your ground is pretty firm, but honestly that is the nicest paving job i've ever seen. AND it must have cost you a pretty penny cause it might also be the biggest paving job i've seen including commercial properties.

WOW!!!

thanks for sharing!!

have fun in your SEMI CLEAN barn while you keep getting it spiffed up and organized!!

Drives-The ground is very well compacted and the new base for the driveway was recycled concrete and packs well. This area also well drained sandy soil.

It rained on Saturday so I decide to work in the shop. Started drywall in the bathroom but didn’t make enough progress to post pics. Today got the lawn mowed and we did some decorating for the fall season.

Wow, loving the driveway and brewery. It's been a while since I've seen this thread. Also, nice genset. What was the (blue) product's name? Nice spray on insulation.

STELLA: your barn looks great and again I love all that work you had done for the driveways and walkways.

it looks like Billings, Montana had 14 inches of snow and we are getting some in our smallish mountains so i'm guessing winter is headed your way so stay warm.

cheers

Farmall450- The purple insulation is called Walltite. It is produced by BASF. Its a medium density polyurethane foam that contains recycled plastic.

Drives- I heard that there was quite a bit of snow in parts of Alberta but I think we won’t see snow any time soon in South Western Ontario.

STELLA: hope your cold weather hasn't started or if it did I hope you were ready for it.

i'm so impressed by all that block you did for your driveways i want to recommend that product to my kids who want to put a patio in their back yard. do you remember the brand name and product information and do they make it just in Canada or in the USA also?

have a great weekend!!
