I found this unusual tool at a Tahoe garage sale yesterday. Since it was marked Berkeley, Calif, I had to have it. I had no idea of it’s function until I did a patent number search. Has anybody seen another?

I have one of the small ones. Have not used it yet, but I like the design. Can't have too many ways to fix threads on one of a kind bolts!

Seen a bunch in my travels but I don’t recall the brands. There was one on a shelf at my old flea market for years. I remember thinking it was for stud removal at first glance.
