How are people getting the M12 3.0 batteries already? There's 2 reviews on HD

For weeks CPO (and Tyler) have said "ships by 9/9/16" but 9/9 came & went and they still show backordered. But the two HD reviews were 8/31 and 9/6.

I'm gonna start bugging @MilwaukeeTool to make an M12 trim router. Man I would use that thing just constantly.
M18 is coming out soon

That would be cool but hopefully it wouldn't be trash like their new miter saw or nailers.
Is it a trim router or full size? I'm not seeing any info about it anywhere online. I think that will be a definite purchase either way.
PSA: TrueView Stand Light
Anyone with the TrueView Stand Light probably already knows that the clamps that lock the extension poles in position are, well... they ****. The screws that adjust the tension on the clamps need frequent adjustment (at best), or just plain fall out. That's if the clamp itself doesn't break.
Milwaukee has an "Upper and Lower Clamp Service Kit", part number 14-46-2130, that fixes all this (or at least seems like it should). This kit replaces ALL parts in both clamp assemblies. Both clamps have been re-designed to be two parts (instead of one) and are much "beefier", nuts that the screws thread into are now nylon lock nuts (this should avoid lost screws and/or frequent adjustment). You can easily install the kit yourself in about 20 minutes.
I found out about the kit because both of my clamps broke, and I called Milwaukee to ask about just getting the parts, since I didn't want to send/bring the light in for warranty repair, and they sent me the kit at no charge.
To install the kit you'll need:
- T15 screwdriver
- T20 screwdriver
- T30 screwdriver
- Phillips #2 screwdriver
- clamp spreader (optional)
For less than $1 you can replace the nylon lock nuts (4mm) without the kit, if your clamps aren't broken.
Here's a photo of a broken upper clamp and its replacement:

I'm tellin' ya. M12 FUEL trim router. I would probably get a tool belt so I could wear it on me at all times. And a bandolier for M12 batteries.
Had a 4203 mag drill GIVEN to me. Hard to beat that
Since Ridgid is releasing an 18V router I'm confident that it is on milwaukee's radar, since TTI owns both. I was told by a trusted source that Milwaukee held back the release of the M18 miter saw to let Ridgid's 18 volt miter saw get a fot hold in Home Depots.

Emerson owns Ridgid.. TTI is just the manufacturer Emerson uses to make them.
My Matco dealer makes money off the fuel line, sells it in his tool truck.Been selling them to customers that had nothing but problems with their Snap On cordless tools.Been happy with them and don't have a problem anymore.I am getting the cordless sawzall next.Getting the bare tool since I have batteries I can use from my cordless impact.I have the older cordless sawzall, can't get the V18 batteries anymore and no one rebuilds them. One took a dump, shorted inside and won't take a charge. The other is following.
Received my M12 flashlight today. Initial impressions are very positive, it seems very nice
Is it any better than just a maglite? It's a little expensive for "just" a flashlight..
Looking at a Combo Kit.
How is this one for homeowner use.
Or should I stick to the fuel models.

IMO the 2696-24-2360-20 is a better choice for not much more money. The 2607 hammer drill is the newer model as is the driver 2656-20 plus the light is LED. It also has the most current cordless brushed sawzall model and the batteries are 4.0

A FUEL package would be considerably more money still
The 2695-24 Kit comes with the 2607 and 2656 drills, HD desc is wrong, I ordered one last month. Does the 2696 kit come with 4.0s?, cause the site lists (2) 48-11-1828 M18 XC high capacity REDLITHIUM battery as the included batteries.
