Yup. I gave up waiting.. Bought it several months ago.. I ALMOST walked outta HD with the m12 Spotlight today, but left with some 16" channellocks instead.

I may be walking out with it today. Most likely getting the M12 FUEL drill driver set for my GF's sister and it comes with a free M12 tool... So spotlight time!

I like the spotlight. Really light weight...

and bright! :D

I went out during a heavy storm checking for possible damage around my house yard with it after dark one time. You could clearly see A LOT of stuff with it.

Btw - I was in a HD that had the Ridgid stealth force impact driver out on display for people to play with. It's the comparable model to the new hydraulic Milwaukee surge.. I was sinking 3" screws into pt lumber and I was very impressed with how quite and powerful it seemed. I'd expect the m18 model would be very similar.

It's beyond me why places like HD don't do more marketing inside the store.. They make no effort to convey any information explaining what the key differences are between similar looking models to the average person that walks in and starts looking at tools. All it would take is a sign placed behind each display that gave a full description of each model so people didn't have to do their own research - or buy AND THEN find out later exactly what they have.

Depends on the model ,2663-20 no, 2763-20 yes. I can get 2663's for less than that. Have been selling them for $100 as well.

Exactly. The recent eBay 20% deal put the Fuel 2763-20 NEW at $160 shipped. No reason to buy a non-Fuel model at this time of year.

.

The new Surge model is pretty nice. Very quiet in comparison to a regular impact.

Thanks for the feedback on the 1/2 impact guys. I'm not sure what model it is, I believe it's the 2763 but I'll definitely double check. It's brand new from one of those brick and mortar stores that buys pallets of tools at auction

He sold the 2763 but has a 2663 for $120 - probably just wait for another 2763 to pop up

I've got a 2663 on ebay for under 120 shipped if you decide really want one. This is the last one out of the 6 that I got in the 6 huge kits I bought. Outside of ebay, send me paypal directly, I can end the auction and you can have it for $110.00 shipped. Otherwise, out the door on ebay it will be a goin'. I'm the cheapest on there.

I was really impressed with the Stealth too.
I heard that it's quieter than the Surge from the Milwaukee rep.
I'd get it but I don't want to buy into another system and I'm sure I'll be happy with the Surge.

When you see a really really good deal. Don't pass it up.

50! With battery. At a tool store. New no case though.

Appreciate the offer but I think I'm gonna hold out for a 2763

Picked this up a few days ago. Just used it for the first time to take a panel off a piece of equipment at work. This thing is amazing. I should have gotten it a long time ago. Panel had 20 fasteners? No problem! 8be0615a7e889a8b5569c62445bac924.jpg

That's where it really shines. I use the hell out of mine on generator body panels where I can't mark up the fasteners with an impact. Definitely one of those tools that leaves you going, how the hell did I live this long without one?

I also have those Taiwan long Husky hex bit sockets in SAE, and have been surprised how well they've held up so far.

That is a good question

So now what is the run time on that light?

So I did a quick test with a brand new fully charged 3.0ah battery after 1 hour and 15minutes the the battery went down 2 bars and the light housing was 110 degrees. So let's say a 3.0ah battery gets 2 hours of run time. So I would expect at the minimum 5 hours of run time out of a 9.0.

That's odd that the light output is higher with the 9.0 it's still a 18v..... never mind I see that's a different model
