Thanks. Just got the mitersaw and battery and impact combo for $499. Now I have a 2763 impact to sell. I did not need any more power but I wanted it . . .

So I bought the M12 stapler last night had a big stapling job to do and getting old ****! I’m pretty happy with the performance it’s great when you place it and pull the trigger and a little less consistent when you bump fire it. Biggest downside is it holds 1 stick of staples so you reload when you’re out not when it’s convenient.

It says one 9ah so that is all I am counting on. I am keeping the new 2767 impact and selling the 2763, so I’ll still spending a bit on tools that I want more than I need.

I was hoping there was going to be a plastic insert in there like the M12 impact in the smaller packout.

So.. FINALLY getting all my impacts and ratchet back from the guy I loaned them too.. It'll be like getting 4 new tools again..

Have another good idea for you Milwaukee if you're ever listening. How about a nice contractor clip board / organizer. I think we're pretty good on lights for now..

Home Depot why the F-CK are you not stocking Milwaukee Demo gloves in EVERY store?? I know ONE store that carries them, and they are ALWAYS sold out..

Milwaukee, you wanna make another light? Design a compact inspection light that has a pen in it so I don't have to carry 2 different things.. go one step further and make a holster for it in the new Milwaukee clip board.. Patent Pending..

After reading your original post yesterday, I called Tool Barn and purchased the miter saw promo and chose the 9 amp battery as the premium. I just couldn't pass it up. I will let you know what I find when I open the box.

You can buy a new 9.0 for about $125 on eBay or amazon. It was not the most valuable free tool offering.

I just got mine in on Friday. I've been waiting on it for months, I preordered from acme in November and they delayed it twice and said it would be January at the soonest so I just canceled. Then I found it for $150 last week and had to. I love it already.

So far the best pen I've found to use at work is a tactical pen. It's all metal and doesn't bend or break in my front pocket. Plus it looks cool..

I want this from Milwaukee

And if anyone wants an indestructible pen - this is it. Probably cheaper on eBay though..

Here $7 on eBay.. get one..

I was tinkering on a lamp with a young jeweler friend yesterday, and when it came time to drill some holes she whipped this out.

currently, the kit is on sale at cpomilwaukee.com for 179$ (199-20$ off current offer):

https://www.cpomilwaukee.com/milwau...lisher-sander-kit/miln2438-22,default,pd.html

the speaker is 59$:

https://www.cpomilwaukee.com/milwau...eaker--bare-tool-/miln2592-20,default,pd.html

so it is the same price, but they also have the same kit offer as HD, but you can choose from a selection of optional tools:

https://www.cpomilwaukee.com/milwau...er-sander-xc-kit/miln2438-22x,default,pd.html

although that deal ends today.

so, yes, it is reasonable, although the CPO deal has more options.

(complaint warning):

Does anyone else feel like the number of tools released has slowed down quite a bit lately? I haven't seen much M12 in over a year and M18 seems to be slowing as well.

It could just be their website redesign (harder to find the "new" items), but I'm wondering if their efforts are on some 60V-ish competition for DeWalt instead of working on existing lines?

There has been plenty of discussion about potential new releases. Portable compressor, framing nailer, cordless sanders and routers would top my list. While their line is great, their competition has plenty of unique items as well.

I work for one of the largest Milwaukee distributors in the nation. I’m not here to sell, but I can shed some light to their direction. They are trying to get back to their roots. Electrical/mechanical contractors. What you aren’t seeing at HD or CPO are all of the amazing tools they have for commercial and utility electricians. Not to mention all of the new drain cleaning items for plumbers. Framing nailers are on the radar, but Milwaukee doesn’t chase that market. Look for an 18v chainsaw and polesaw in the coming months. Corporately we sell 10’s of millions of dollars in Milwaukee per year. Again, im not here to sell, but I can probably answer any and all Milwaukee and DeWalt questions you may have.

I think they are way overdue on a sander. The m12 polisher is nice, but it could use a power boost.

They just announced about 100 new products a few months ago, and still stuff slips by that nobody ever heard of before.. the cordless tools keep coming, but many are more specialized for trades.. they can't just keep making drills and impacts.

In MY OPINION, Milwaukee is gonna have to EVENTUALLY answer to the higher voltage platforms coming out. Weather it be a dual pack 36 volt line, or a whole new platform. They are HEAVILY invested in m18 (how do ya think the m28(?) guys feel), so I'd suspect an approach like makita using dual packs. But ya never know - Milwaukee might have a trick up their sleeve. Their 9.0 packs are the same size basically as the dewalt 60v.. would be quite funny if one day Milwaukee released a 40v or 60v pack - and said btw, all you have to do is insert this into any m18 tool..

You don't need to sell anything in here.. and some people are well aware of everything they offer.. chainsaw is no secret here, neither is a cordless tablesaw which I believe was hinted at a few months ago for next year possibly.

Their lineman shockwave auger bits must be backordered everywhere, cause I couldn't find a place that had 4 in stock. Home Depot online /acme tools included. I'm still waiting on 2, cause they are easily the best bits on the market right now.

if people like that pen, you can get it from the manufacturer for 20.99$ here:

http://www.511tactical.com/xbt-scribe-light-pen.html

using the code CLEAROUT in the cart.

I was searching last night, but couldn't find "MY" perfect tactical pen.. here's my list of demands - (I came close)

(Ya listening Milwaukee??)

No caps to remove, I want a twist function that will deploy and retract the pen. Nothing gets lost, and it's fast and easy but will never deploy in my pocket. On the top, I want a small FUNCTIONAL flashlight, rechargeable by micro USB, that also uses a twist function to turn it on/off instead of a button that will have my pants glowing all day. 100 lumens or so enough, nothing crazy.

Runner ups -

Sahara Sailor Tungsten Steel LED Flashlight Tactical Pen with Glass Breaker https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K6YSIMG/?tag=atomicindus08-20
