Nize, Does it have 3 speeds and a variable speed like the Gen 2 1/4 Hex Impact?

Yes, has the standard 3 speeds and mode 4 is full power that auto shuts off after 1 second of impacting

I STILL can't believe Milwaukee didn't make the tripod light dual powered.. Everytime I look at it I shake my head.. I still need to re-organize one of my work trucks to fit it in one of the ulitily doors.. It's amazing how many compartments the thing has, I add even more boxes to the truck, and I STILL have no room.

Has anyone here yet tried the off brand M12/M18 batteries from Amazon? I know someone was thinking about taking one apart to look at the cells.

Thanks!

Last year I was thinking about buying some from Amazon, but if you look around there wasn't much of a difference in price for the m12 batteries.. I bought m18s off eBay, buy only if they came in sealed packaging...

For a DIY guy I might be officially part of the club.

Few things:
The Fuel 7-1/4" circular saw is 150% better than you even imagine it's going to be.

Fuel Gen 2 3/8" impact is now my go to, and will handle 95% of what any home mechanic could possibly need.

The full size 1/2" impact is a beast.

The hard case jobsite box is worth every bit of $40.

I wish they made the 7.25" a left blade. Went with the 6.5" model instead

As a left handed guy, I'm quite happy with the blade placement. But I feel your pain, I have the same feeling for 90% of things in life hahaha.

What do you think about the two vacuums? I'm contemplating one (or both) of them.

I have the big vac - they claim it will work for about 20mins of use with a 4.0, which is guess is about right.

Awesome portability, easy to clean out, easy filter change of need be, storage up top for accessories and is strong. Great for cleaning the car up or cleaning behind yourself on small-ish jobs. For bigger/nastier jobs I use my regular ole' big shop vac.

+1 Exactly what I would say about it. I've never used it so long so I would know how long a battery would last.

I've been looking and about to pull the trigger on the 2763 1/2" impact wrench.. before I do, does anyone know if there might be a new version released in the near future? I don't want to buy something and then have it be old, right away!

I didn't see the high torque impact announced yet just the compacts. Did they announce a high torque version with one-key? Eventually I'm sure most of the stuff will go that way if it's as popular as they are hoping.

Manufacture date should be in the serial number of the tool. The batteries should have date stamps on them I believe.

Still a few sales going on. For the price they wanted for that though I think you can get the new one key 3/8 impact kit when it comes out plus the 1/2" high torque impact. Maybe not exact but pretty close price wise and way better tools.

I've got a 50$ HD Gift Card burning a hole in my pocket. I think I'm going to get this pack:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauke...n-Ratchet-Tool-Only-2454-22-2456-20/205044519

I never understand though when people talk about a 100$ off 150$ or something Milwaukee deal at HD.

I checked Zoro and CPO and I didn't see anything close to this for the price.

I think the Fuel 3/8" Impact would be a nice match for the 3/8" Sunex master set I got over the summer.

It's not just that. There was some controversy and people were buying and selling / returning part of the bundles or something. Like I said I never really understood what all the commotion was. :dunno:

You have 13 days left to tap into that promo if it ends on the 31st locally
