Definitely worth it! I use my m12 grease gun everyday as I'm an AG mechanic and it definitely saves my arms from pumping into the gazillion fittings on all the equipment I check everyday. I also carry a grease joint rejuvenator in my grease gun bag to help with the stubborn fittings.

Thanks for the input! This was exactly the information I was looking for.

I think that set is being discontinued, good deal for a 18 piece set, I bought 3 sets few weeks ago.

It's a holiday specialty item I believe. But the bits weren't released that long ago, it's their newer versions. I think the holiday special thing is why the price is lower just like one of the newer screwdriver bit kits. They seem like a killer deal though. Reviews seem good and the price is right.

Yeah, I think they have the 15 and 21 piece sets in store for regular price $24 & $35 maybe, makes the 18pc for $16 a great deal. I wanted to buy more than 3 LOL, but also have a few nice Bosch drill sets.

It's a constant battle trying to convince myself I don't need more when something like that is a good price lol.

My current Milwaukee dilemma is the LED Stand Light. Going to buy it, when is the question. Right now its 250 with the 5.0/charger kit, dont need charger or 5.0 I have too many new 5.0s already I gotta sell. Zoro has it for $248, do I wait till theres a 30% coupon and grab it then for $173 or buy it for $250 and then have to sell the 5.0 & charger to go through the hassle of selling them for $75-100 to recoup the higher initial cost.

I have many lights and my former nice stand halogen only 1 of 2 lights works and the stand is busted. The M18 LED Stand is heavy duty and rugged, cost is high, but works in my current tool platform.

The light stand is nice.. I just got it at work.. Only downside is its BIG.. It takes up aot of room to store and move around.. For about $50 you can make this one though.. Not cordless, but great.. It's a $29 Costco snap on light and a $19 craftsman tripod..

Check CL too. There's a guy south of me selling one for $180 on CL. Might get lucky.

Same here. Seems like all the good Milwaukee stuff is a 2 hour drive away. It's a bummer sometimes.

I wear my black hoodie daily, I've had for 2 years or so, of course that under another jacket 80 % of the time when i do wear it, debating on a new vest though. Does any have one they would do a report on or has already done one?

would these heated hoodies or vests be good for snowmobiling on cold days under my main jacket ?

Yea ive worn mine on my motorcycle on colder days its seems to help alot under a wind resistent outer layer. you can also get a 12 v adapter to run from your sled, part number is 49-24-2301

I've been looking to get into some cordless tools and pretty much decided on Milwaukee. I'm looking for a drill and impact combo. Here's my choices:

Compact brushless - $215+tax (HD $100 off)
Gen 1 Fuel - $200+tax (HD clearance)
Gen 2 Fuel - $270+tax (HD $150 off)

I wouldn't be using them professionally, not yet at least, but I do a good bit of work remodeling, woodworking, automotive, etc.

Any input? I'm almost ruling out the compact brushless since I can get the Gen 1 Fuel cheaper right now.

Just noticed on HD site they have One Key tools listed. 2796-22 is the One Key kit identical to the 2897-22 Fuel Gen 2 w/o One Key. OK kit is $100 more. So figure OK tools are going to be at least $50 more each tool.

Don't think the one key is part of the promo either. Hope they don't force it on us.

I feel like they are creating too many models to quickly. Bought my first Milwaukee kit about 3 yrs ago, not sure if there was Fuel at the time. Now they still have brushed tools, Fuel Gen 1, Fuel Gen 2, Brushless (Not labeled Fuel), and now Fuel Gen X (Is it Gen 2 or different?) One Key.

Makes you feel like your missing out when tools 2-3yrs old feel outdated....

Don't think the one key is part of the promo either. Hope they don't force it on us.

I bought all my gen 1 fuel last year! I compared them with the new gen2 and was very quick to sell the tools and replace it with the new design! The drill/driver is so much stronger and the design is better in all categorys! Pretty much big difference in size and it feels amazing in my hand compare to gen1! The only bad thing is the sidehandle doesnt fit so good, gen1 is a little better! The impact wrench and driver is also much smaller and stronger, totally adore the gen2! But a man doesnt need something better than the old version, only the real fuel geek like me are stupid enough to sell a couple of tools to buy almost the same tool again[emoji5]

I bought all gen 1 stuff during last years promo. Haven't even used most of it but it would be cool to get gen 2 instead.

Did you take a big hit money wise to sell gen 1 and buy gen 2?

What surprises me about the new One Key kits, it doesnt include the rapid multi volt charger instead of the old slower one.

There is no bad choice - just a matter of how much you want to spend.. The gen 1 stuff (that's what I have) is still more powerful than anything you have ever used a few years ago. If you can't do what you need to with those, something is wrong. If you have the money to splurge on the newest than go for it. If you'd rather save a few bucks and put that money towards another new tool instead then that's another option.. You should watch Woodstockva's video comparing the drills to each other.

Here - watch this guys video.. He's a member here too, but he also makes the best video reviews on YouTube..

They arrived! Scarily, in an open cardboard box. It was sitting on my front stoop, open side up with the flaps folded back. Both Milwaukee boxes inside with the packing slip just exposed to the elements. :headscrat

Can't wait to start testing these guys out and seeing how powerful the M12 Fuel impact is.
