I would think they already have every lighting need covered, what else could they come out with. Strapping on a headlamp with a M12 or M18 battery LOL... All I can fathom is "TrueView" upgrades to existing lights.... oh great I am going to have to buy the M12 Fuel TrueView Stick Light....

I am close to completing my lighting collection, 80% of the way to corp shopping perks for a $50 HD credit and will buy the M18 Lantern. Was debating between M18 Lantern or Stick, but the stick could be Fueled TrueViewed with Inkzall Laser Marking capabilites so might as well wait for that version.

Mentioned more lighting options.

I'd put the V28/M28 grinder up against the M18 Fuel anyday. Yes, I own and use both.

The V28 sawzall is great, it's literally a corded unit made to accept a battery. Ditto for the portaband, but it eats batteries.

The circular saw has a lot of balls for cutting up pallets, and the metal cutting saw uses a 6 7/8" blade, bigger than M18.

You guys who don't know any better....don't be so quick to dismiss old technology. Some of the Fuel is a 6 cylinder turbo Ecoboost trying to be an old-school big block. To date brushless is rarely a replacement for higher voltage.
I've never used a v28 grinder but have a 18v fuel. Not a corded grinder but it does what I wanted it to do. The 28v Sawzall has been awesome, great tool. Same with the drill. Both have asked to do more than they should and have taken it. As I have gotten older I tend to use m12 stuff as its lighter, earlier m12 stuff isn't nearly as powerful as newer fuel stuff.

Some people slap that adapter on heated gear, cant imagine having a big M18 battery in the hoodie or jacket.

Wish the hoodie power adapter had the USB port but only the one that comes with the jackets have it. Wife will like that feature since her phone is always low on power from her not charging it.

Going to use the usb adapter for the cell phone in the car

I love mine. I hope you didn't pay the full retail. They are all over eBay for $30-$35, some with free shipping. At least they were back in December when I got mine.

I'm gonna call this the Milwaukee pumpkin light. Assume its "TrueView" tech..

Milwaukee’s M18 Radius 360° 4400 lumen area worklight. It looks to have a standard male outlet port, for connecting an extension cord for AC power.

M18 Fuel automotive polisher

With the battery angled and so low it looks like there would be a high probability of the battery making contact with the paint on an occasional or regular basis.

Any polisher I've ever used (primarily Porter Cable 7424) does not have the fancy hand grip that increases the length and therefore pushes the battery back further. The extra length increases the likelihood of the back dropping down far enough to hit the paint.

While I hate the cord draped over my shoulder, I don't think this is the right solution.

If you're going to hot-link images from my site, and quote what I say, at least please include a link to the post.

Hotlinking costs me bandwidth and $$. I don't mind as much if you point people to where you got the images and info from.

Here's my 2016/2017 new tool teaser post:

via Twitter, it looks like there's a One-Key floodlight coming out too.

Bare tool on that buffer better be under 300. It will do well at that price. I can see 550 for it with 2 5.0 batts and a blow mold case.

Yeah from the pic it does look like a poor design according to your assessment.

Yeah from the pic it does look like a poor design according to your assessment.

It actually comes with a buffer pad that you mount to the bottom of the battery so you are buffing in two spots instead of just one. It's not a defect it's a feature. Time / effort saver!

What do you think the price will be? I'd say $149-199. Looks like its the size of 4 M12 Lanterns 2x2.

I'd be pretty sure it's 250$+. The M18 flood light is 150$ and it's lower output. I could be wrong, and I hope I am but I'd expect that to be an expensive pumpkin.

I would look their M18 Fuel angle grinders to get a good sense of potential cost. So... maybe under $200 for a bare tool, and $300 or so for a 1-battery kit?

I think it might be $175-250, doesnt seem like much more than a modded Fuel grinder.... For high end bare tools they should include the case. Us addicts dont need more batteries, though I usually make $ flipping them.

That would be an expensive pumpkin. Reason why I had it a little less was it doesnt look as rugged as the new flood or stand light. Just a giant lantern. Wonder the number of LEDs it uses and the type.

There should be a bare tool with case option. I'd be more likely to purchase more bare tools.

Yes I know that, multiple people here think the tools are different so the batterys doesnt fits between euro and us versions! I am pretty sure they are the same thou[emoji106]

I really want to get that M18 buffer, but I'm kind of concerned about run time. Polishing a car can take hours, how many battery swaps will it take to finish? I'll probably end up getting it either way though. It really is an addiction.

Just got my first Milwaukee M12 tool yesterday, picked up a hackzall with 4 small batteries and the M18/M12 combination charger for $60 on Craigslist. This little guy is a beast! I'm already looking at upgrades from my existing Craftsman C3 stuff. This could be bad for my bank account...

This tool is going to be a big hit with the marina boat detail guys. I have 10 4.0 batteries, so I might be able to do my F350 crew cab long box:headscrat
