I feel sorry for someone who is in a 96 degree enviroment at 3AM. That just aint right. I do have to admit, the Milwaukee watch is boss looking.

When I look at a tool,and how it's made, my mind appreciates the art that went into the design. I like to see my tools, I hate seeing them in a box. So I guess I'm pretty OCD on cleaning my tools after every use. But then again I just design and build projects. I'll admit if I was an auto mechanic, it would be pretty hard to keep that cleaning regimen.
But they get plenty of use. I built my man cave with these tools.

I got them on clearance as well for 49.99 and was hoping to sell 3-4 to get a couple free ones for myself since their usual price is 120+ but the going rate on ebay seems to be ~75-80 shipped and after fees it's not worth the hassle. Haven't had any bites on here or CL so I may end up just returning them to HD. If anyone on here wants them all I'll cut them a deal but otherwise I think 80 shipped is the least I could take since I had to pay CA sales tax on them initially.

U could try splitting them up.. sell the flashlights as extras, and try selling the batteries as a 2 pack..

I broke down and ordered the Dewalt 20v max spot light to scratch my itch until the m18?search light comes out.. I have 2 trucks at work, one has Milwaukee, the other Dewalt.. And I still find myself bringing along the Milwaukee stuff sometimes..
Anyone have the Milwaukee screwdriver sets?
Looking to grab a nice set. would rather it be red, but if someone has another rec - I'll listen.

I bought the $40 set around Christmas time a couple of years ago for $12 I think? It was the first set Milwaukee released and it included 2 ECX screwdrivers (https://www.milwaukeetool.com/hand-tools/screwdrivers/48-22-2008). The set is selling for $30 at a couple of stores now.
I do like the ECX tip for outlets and switches. If you do a lot of electrical work they're worth it.
As far as the handles/tips go, they are definitely a step up from the standard acetate handled Craftsman screwdrivers, but not as nice as the Craftsman Pro. I would say they are similar in quality to Klein.
Recently I purchased a set of Wera and hands down they are better than all of the above for a similar price. The laser etched tips grip much better and the handles fit my hand better, but that one is personal preference.
The gimmicky wire stripper and hole for bending the end of a bare wire for an outlet/switch work in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend using them. I have used the flat head with the metal striking cap on the end as a crude chisel a few times. It worked with no damage to the screwdriver. Wera has screwdrivers with the metal cap as well, but you lose out on the laser etched tips that their standard screwdrivers have.
I keep the Milwaukee set on the wall at my workbench for day to day stuff when I just need a screwdriver quick. If I am assembling or taking apart something I care about (or for "clean" projects) I will reach for the Wera.

I gave up on some fuel versions coming out. You'd think a brushless jigsaw would appear before cordless water pumps..
I agree. It's a mistake IMO. I hope when they do make it, it's more ergo friendly than the current M18 brushed.

Saw this at home depot today, $230 plus free extra tool (speaker/extra battery and a few others) .. Was tempted but remember the set I was looking at being $135 on clearance at HD not too long ago, just wasn't able to find one.. I don't think I can ever pay full price on a tool again...

I'm really wanting the M12 3.0 and 6.0 batteries, looks like Sept release. I'll be one of the first to order.
The 6.0 will be awesome in my 2438 polisher where I sometimes run through three XC batteries in a day (mixture of 3.0 and 4.0) and the compact 3.0's will be awesome in heated gear this winter. As it is there is a noticeable increase in heated gear run time from a 1.5 to a 2.0 (understandably)

I just realized you can use socket extensions with the shockwave adapter if you don't have long enough bits handy!

Well I had nice chance to show off my m18 fuel 7/16 hex drive impact wrench last night. Was out on a call for a broken utility pole, and the power company lineman pulled out his cordless hilti 7/16 drive impact.. I was like , you ever try the Milwaukee?? He answers, yea my friend has one and it'll barely drill through some of the green poles (pressure treated). Then says his is a $1400 impact, it'll be pretty though to beat.. I say, ok - hold that thought.. Walk over to my truck, pull out the fuel with a fully charged battery and a 11/16" X 18" Milwuakee ship auger bit. I hand it to him and say give it a shot..
He goes up in the bucket and drills his first hole in a brand new pole I just set. . The thing flies right through it.. Next thing I hear from up in the air is "OK, it's not bad", followed by his two coworkers having a good laugh..

Picked up the M18 SDS rotary hammer yesterday as I needed to remove some concrete slab around a water pipe and that thing is a beast. Not cheap but it gets some work done quick.
