I didnt think HD B&M would get that promo kit, will be funny if there are 2 endcaps at HD one with Dewalt Flexvolt and the other with Milwaukee 9.0 stuff.

My card finally got charged today for the Miter saw kit from Acme. Hopefully that means they will ship out today!

Just checked and so did mine, but shouldn't they be charging $599-$59.90=539.10

Oh geez they do things weird.... so my whole order was 669.89, 130.79 of stuff shipped right away, they charged me 70.89 for that stuff with the disc on the whole order factored in and charging me 599 now.... 599+70.89=669.89.

With the 2 9.0 kits they charged 199.2 and then 249 for a total of 448.20 instead of 224.10 when each shipped.

Just checked and so did mine, but shouldn't they be charging $599-$59.90=539.10

Sorry, I forgot that part...

$250 for the kit

Their in store prices were:
$199 for a 9.0 battery
$199 for the M18 Fuel Sawzall
$80 for the Rapid Charger

Here's a link to it:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauke...-M18-9-0Ah-Starter-Kit-48-59-1890PS/300134833

So if you're at all interested in a 9.0 battery and plan on paying full price, you might as well pay $50 more and get a rapid charger and Sawzall too...

Seems like a hell of a deal to get into the 9.0 world.

I keep looking for the M12 3.0 & 6.0 in HD, no sign of them. I dont think we will see kits with them until 2017. Though I think there will be a promo before years end with a Free 3.0 or 6.0. Buy a 6.0 and get a free tool like the 9.0 would be crazy, unlikely though.

I'm really hoping some of the 6.0 M12 batteries go on sale somewhere!

So my local HD in hazlet NJ added a new isle to the tool corral section. About half of the entire isle is all Milwaukee.

My store has the same deals that were posted in the acme sale. 9.0 kits with either a fuel circular saw or sawzall (that all come boxed as a set) for $249. The original tripod light with an included battery and charger (boxed as a set) for $249. The New fuel cordless miter saw is in the store too, $599 I think.

They expanded a lot of their cordless tool offerings in the store, but Milwaukee has the bulk of the sales space. They basically have most of what milwukee has - except the 6 bay m18 charger that I was willing to buy for work of course. Lol

I walked over to check it out after I finished returning a machine I rented to the tool rental dept - and one of the sales managers walked by and said "did ya see the new 9.0 stuff came in?" I immediately thought I must be spending way to much time in here..

Anyway -if I didn't say this before, both my new m12 jackets are going back. It'll be the first Milwaukee anything I've ever returned for not liking them. Neither size fits right, the arms have no insulation and the new material seems like it conducts the cold in the arms making it even worse ( in my experience anyway).. The older jacket just seems better to me in a few different aspects, (fit being one, the new sizes are not the same). I'm very disappointed cause I really like how they look being all black..

Wonder if all stores are going to get this makeover, funny how some random guy said a while ago HD & Milwaukee were not getting along...

Maybe the R&D dept messed up on the new jackets and its a cooling jacket intended for people in Florida LOL. Good call to return them instead of wasted $ on something you dont like and will collect dust.

Those are some sweet deals, double discounts/promos which shouldnt be possible.

I was surprised too but that's how they advertised it (kit for 279 with trade in) and it was done directly through the Milwaukee reps as all the manufactures come and set up booths.

Oh jeez. Bought the circular saw kit.

I wonder if I should get the sawzall kit also and sell the battery + charger separately.

sweet! Nice sharp grain pattern on that 4x4 you cut!

The U shaped thing is an extension for the table to support longer pieces.

Like this, on a smaller scale. (Sorry for the Makita picture.)

Just to justify my purchase decision, I figured that:

Bare 2731-20 can be found around $173 on Ebay, NIB

NIB 9.0 battery can be found around $150 on Ebay, charger + 9.0 around $175

So figure I'm saving around $100 off the best price I could find (not retail), with the security of buying from a major retailer. Not bad at all.

Reviews I've seen stated the U hooks to the back when you aren't clamping it to a stand so the head spring doesn't knock the saw back when the head returns to the default position.

There is only 1 of them, not 2 as seen in your picture and no where to add them on the sides. like i said i could not find any holes that they would fit into.

The porters have treated me well, i almost grabbed the 7 1/4 circular saw with the 9.0 battery also because the porter is starting to burn up, but just could not justify the cost right now. I will slowly be replacing the porter stuff with M18 as needed. We just bought the house a month ago so focusing on things i dont have before i go replacing everything else.

ill take a look later. took me longer than it should have to find the allen wrench for installing the blade as well. its tucked on the back side on the right foot.

Well I can hardly wait for my new Milwaukee saw package to arrive. I was using my cordless Makita 6 1/2 Wednesday and one of my latest 2.6 NiMH wouldn't last more than 5 minutes in the saw. This is a fairly new set of batteries too can't really be much more than 3 years old. Put it back in the charger and in short order would light up green again then run right down after popping it back in the saw. The other battery would still go at least 3 times as long and takes longer to recharge too.

That has been the biggest turn off owning Makita with me battery life and ah power. 2 chargers and 5 batteries now. One battery was a red cased one and even though it was rated slightly less amps it seemed to be just better. I believe it was a NiCad. If I have to I will get one of the knockoff batteries from Amazon if I want to sell it. Along with the drill (who would even want the drill?) though the saw is really nice lightweight and small and the trigger unlock button is conveniently right on top of the handle

BTW that is an almost brand new 1/2 drill too. My first one, the original one that came in the kit was swiped from the job along with that red battery one day.

Wasn't long after that I started buying Milwaukee with the new Red Lithium and never looked back.

So what's that about a 6 1/2" Milwaukee Fuel? :D

Aiyiyi!

I'm going to ask right now if I can get the additional !0% applied to my recent order

I just called and the customer service rep agreed to apply it. I used PayPal so they're going to have to finagle it a bit, but I'll update once it goes through.

Acme gets a lot of my money, they have a good site and stacking sales & promos is huge, some other sites allow it occasionally. I order from Toolup, International, Northern, or others sometimes. Never from CPO anymore, their sales are a joke. Interesting how a small chain in the middle of nowhere NW USA has become a big player online. Still not sure how the have the Milwaukee tool chests, thought they were HD exclusive, unless theres some relationship with HD & Acme.

I'm contemplating that purchase also. Hard call...last night I reviewed the Fuel specs and watched the videos for both the Fuel and the new 2621-20 that outshines the prior brushed version and which is only $99 right now. (and plus 10% till Monday)

The adjustable shoe on the Fuel is nice feature to have though.

Anybody...any thoughts?

I'll probably end up selling the extra 9.0 battery + charger, so if you don't value your time, the Fuel would be the same net price, hopefully.
