Cordless blower 2728-20 on acme. Is that the new leaf blower?
Also the new Bluetooth speaker.
Both $150
Hedge trimmer as well $169
String trimmer $199
Looks like all the yard tools also have a -21hd, version with 9.0 battery and rapid charger included.

I debated all day but just ordered the 2734 miter saw kit for $479.20. I kinda doubt it'll ever be cheaper, esp with two 9.0's. I could be wrong....but this seems like a solid deal regardless

I almost went for the same deal except that honestly in my heart I know I wont use this saw anytime in the near future, hell I have last years BF special Hitachi miter saw still in the box unopened...

That's why I pulled the trigger!

I really didn't want to have to buy/return the drill set at HD and then found the 20% deal at acmetools.com

$479.20 free shipping and no tax. At HD it was $489.89 plus tax.

I've bought too much. I'll be getting pics soon. The red boxes are stacking up.

I went in on the miter saw as well. I agreed with not having to **** with buying/returning to HD. I did have to pay sales tax though so my total was $515.

If you read the fine print it doesnt work on anything already on sale. I was hoping to put it on the rocket light as well.

It doesn't work on the tool only $99 m18 Milwaukee sawzall either. It must be on sale?

Also didn't work on the M18 stick light either which has been recently reduced to $59

Guess that's just another "on sale" item: too :(

$199 is the current going price on most web sites for the Rocket

As has been $99 for that sawzall

IMO not seeing any of it as really being on a sale.

Now I've just been poking around the ACME/Milwaukee site

And so seems the best price can hope for there today is by using that the current $20 off code (MILW2016) does work on 2130-20P

just not quite as good as a full 20% off

And that will also work towards the 2621-20 @$99 if you meet the $100 min. so pretty much that would be very close to the equivalent of 20% off. Discount will be split between items. So add something cheap! :p

Either way will still get hit with the $6.95 shipping charge if the total is under $199

But can get the 20% off on the new BT speaker preorder today! :D

So with that 20% discount, plus an additional $20 off the rocket tower 5.0 kit and the free shipping

I think I'm good ;)

Just got back from HD and ....... finally, FINALLY - returned both the heated m12 jackets I bought however long ago.. 5 min till the store closed, and I was debating on buying the radius light with the one-key drill and impact - but I couldn't bring myself to do it knowing I'm gonna wait for $350 to go back in my account just from the jackets, and then spend another $450ish on the drill combo that imma have to return again tomorrow anyway.. maybe in a couple days I'll go back.. blah...

J.V., I'd go with a 5 ah for $60-70 instead unless someone needs the lightweight battery.

Worth a look On Amazon, $65 from seller AlbanyToolCo. 2 of those would be 10ah for $130.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PP3FSDG/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Worth it if he has other batteries, but if not then he'd still be swapping that one battery back and forth... if he's the kinda person that doesn't use tools much, the smaller packs MIGH be more beneficial so more tools can have a pack installed..

JV - if you already have some other packs at home - then I agree with what he said. With deals the way they are right now - you could even get batteries for free if you don't mind selling some stuff and waiting to get your money back.... you can get the tripod light that comes with the free charger/5.0 pack for $140 if you play the game. You could EASILY sell the light for $150-$160 locally, charger for $25, and still have the battery left to keep if you're motivated.

I bought one too!!! And at a great price. It will be nice to use on small jobs instead of dragging out the heavy 12" Dewalt and a cord. Also the 9.0 batts will be nice to use in the grinder.

Thanks guys but I already own a ton of stuff.

This was as of last December.

I own two of the 2.0 batteries and I love the light weight of them for my 3/8 impact gun and impact screwguns. I have tons of 4.0's, one 5.0 and now two 9.0's with the saw purchase.

Just picked up a fuel 3/8 impact bare tool using the 499 kit. Was originally going to get the kit with the compact batteries but ended up just buying the bare tool plus the 4 tool kit with another 499 kit and got an extra set of drills/impact, radio, hackzall a bag for ~120 more. Still undecided if I am going to keep or sell the drills.

I have been kicking around the idea of getting the 2897-22 Fuel drill and driver combo. It has been consistently 399.00 at HD. I went there today and the salesman told me that if you get the combo, they give you 150.00 toward another Milwaukee tool. If you only spend 100.00 of that then they will credit the rest of the 50.00 toward your purchase so it would end up costing you 349.00 plus you also get the 100.00 dollar tool. The poster on the display said that it was good until Jan.31 of 2017. What are your "professional opinions" of this deal?

If you go back a few pages you will find more info as well as the hot deals thread.
If you buy the kit and a qualifying tool you will receive 150 off in total and it splits it depending on the price of the other tool you buy. You can play around with pricing on the website but there is stuff that will qualify in store that wont online.

Is it an even split? 75 off each item?

I believe its a percentage split, the larger item (drill kit) will get more money off than the smaller item (extra tool).
I have bought a few items/kits with this deal.
Put the items in your hd cart online and in the cart it will break down how the discount is applied.

Good points on multiple low AH batts vs fewer high AH batteries.

Yep.
Lurk Mode deactivated.

I have a 2663 1/2" impact wrench from a few years back. With 475 Ft-Lbs still works great.
Takes off old truck bed bolts with ease. Anything it cant do 1st try is what a breaker bar is for.

I just bought a few Milwauk item from the HoDepot.
The 23 pc Impact drillbit set is only $17. The 19pc set is more money. :headscrat
40pc Impact bit set. Decent value.
10bin Organizers for $20 ea, not bad.

I noticed that with the 23 piece too...picked it up as a backup. $17 is a great price for that kit.

I want to replace the chuck on my 2704-20 hammer drill.

I've only had it for a year and really only used it this last few months. The chuck will lock up and need a strap wrench to loosen, or it will complete loosen and bits will fall out.

So, I want to replace it with this.

What is the fastener type and bit size that is holding the OEM chuck on?

It looks like a torx, but cannot quite tell.

Why not just see if Milwaukee will replace it under warranty first?

Out of all my Mil. Red cordless tools I use my 1/4 hex and 3/8 fuel impacts the most, even for drilling. A good m12 with a upgraded battery is a recipe for success. Love it!

I bet you used the 20% off. :bubbrubb:

I was a dipstick and didn't realize the 20% only applied to a single item. I ordered 2 M12 3.0 compact batteries (one for me, one for my brother for Christmas for our jackets). 10% off on those batteries is still a decent deal given that they're still at list price everywhere else.

Live and learn...

I bought a Jacobs through Cripe for mine a while back, pretty sure it was this one.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jacobs-3263...-Chuck-1-2-20-Thread-500-Series-/251080994484

IIRC it was a reverse threaded torx with thread locker. There should be some videos on Youtube on how to remove them.

I want those too... the older style flat bottoms are back in hd after black Friday, already marked down to $69 for a 2 pack..
