Here's a question - is there a specific model of rip guide that works with the m18 fuel circular saws, or is it a universal thing? Milwaukee makes a couple different ones.. I'm taking about the ones that slide into the shoe of saw, and get tightened down with the thumb screw.. suggestions? I wanna get one just to have..

This what I got when I searched Milwaukee Tools for that part number:

Your results for '49-12-0012'

Your search for '49-12-0012' did not match any results

I did find one at eToolpros.com, ordered it. I now have a 49-16-2754 for sale.

There is quite a bit a difference between the 2655B and the 2754, I have both. The newer model is smaller in the motor area. You can see where it doesn't fill out the back of the older boot.

I dunno if this photo I posted a while back helps any to visualize the difference

That's pretty nice.. was thinking more like something small like this.. not as useful as yours, but small and easy..

Milwaukee Rip Fence Kit, Model# 49-22-4146 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000022473/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Just looked at mine and tried my Makita saw rip fence Looks like the Milwaukee needs a 1/2" wide bar. The Makita is about 1/8 too narrow to fit secure without side to movement. The thickness and length both seemed to be ok though

I'm not sure what you are trying to prove here, you already gave me the part number (thank you again), I searched at the Milwaukee site using their search feature and got no result (poor search utility I guess?). I ordered it from another seller and got it delivered for $24.49.

I've been to that page as well just to be sure the number you gave was correct.

I've just tried searching a bit today for this boot. It's looking pretty elusive right now. :headscrat

I had thought it was widely available in the past before but I also failed to locate it even on the Milwaukee site too and seems none of the major retailers like HD/CPO/ ACME have it listed either go figure. :dunno:

The only issue would be if you needed to cut something wider than the Milwaukee version then you'd need a second, larger one.

Yea I have some nice clamping straight edges for big stuff.. just looking for something cheap to throw in a tool bag, "just in case" I could use it one day.. didn't know if any of the Milwaukee models would fit, or if I needed a specific one.

Got my m12 sub-scanner today. Seems to be pretty accurate with both plaster and lath, and wood paneling over plaster and lath. It's dead on with 1/2" sheet rock, but I expected that. I gotta try concrete next.

Anything wider than a factory rip guide can accommodate needs a straight edge or better yet, a track saw. The steady trajectory of the saw get's unmanageable with anything greater than a few inches like a factory rip guide. Need to clamp a straight edge of some sort to the piece being cut.

I don't need the drill/impact combo and I don't have the money to put out to buy everything and then return it.

Buy the one key combo and the 1/2 impact together get the 200 discount then return the one key combo it will make the final price paid 110 plus taxes

If you add items online it will show you what the price will be with discount and how much they will refund you for the one key

If you have charge card order it, you may be able to order all online for shipping to house and then after you get confirmation contact them under chat and see if they can remove the one key before it ships and you wont be charged for it

Ended up buying the M18 fuel 1/2 inch compact impact wrench from HD and got the free XC 5Ah battery with it....then decided what the hell and bought its big brother and scored another free XC 5Ah battery. I now have 8 XC 5Ah batteries to go along with two 2Ah compact ones.....Merry Christmas to me I guess

I've decided (I think) ((maybe)), I want the tripod light for home.. for no other reason then "just because".. I have some gift cards I'd consider using for it.. The store closest to me has the tripod battery charger combo marked at $249.. the store I got my saw kit from had them marked at $199 still.. what are they actually ringing up for in the store?? If it's $249 I could always go and argue it's marked $199 at this one store.. (if and when I do this)

You could always order online for store pickup to make sure you get the 199.99 price.

Just order it from HD.com, works out to $142 plus tax.

Some stores are hiding the OK kits because of all the returns.

Don't think that would work out for me, I'd need to get the purchase using just the gift cards.. not spending my own money on this one.. between Christmas and all my bills that came the last few weeks, combined with my constant spending, my bank account has taken a serious hit... Time to get a handle on it for a while.

May even sell the charger and battery.. there only so many I can actually use. I have more than enough..

It's $187 with the one key combo also.. if I can get the store to honor the marked price of $199 then it's not even worth the hassle of the combo

FYI, sometimes the 150/200 promo on HD.com charges the wrong sales tax, it may charge tax on the amount prior to 150/200 coming off. Need to talk to CS to get it fixed.

I got the M18 wet/dry vac and M18 hybrid rover light for Christmas. They're both incredibly impressive cordless tools! Especially with the 9.0 [emoji41]

I just got the same email.... sorry for our luck.:confused:

BTW, did you notice that Etools Pro, Coastal Tool Supply and NTX Tools all are the same company based on the email we received? I thought that was interesting.

Buy it using the m18 one key home depot deal. Should work out to just over $100.
This is what I did. Pretty sweet deal. Returned the one key kit. The 2755b was sold out on line for a while and I was kicking myself for not ordering. But then it came back so I jumped on it, and I think it sold out again. Probably a lot of people doing the one key return trick.
