Yep, I am going to pick it up at home depot this week with some gift cards. I am completely blown away by how good the work light I got is. 3000 lumens, last for about 4 hours on high with the 9AH battery, and can be plugged in via AC. It is absolutely perfect for both general area lighting, as well as more focused lighting such as when compounding car paint and needing to check for swirls.

I had their hexagon stand light as well, but returned it because it has a really limited ability to aim downwards and I can't plug it into AC. I am considering the more expensive stand light with the three heads, but damn it's expensive. If they would drop price by $100 I would actually buy two of them, but it's hard for me to justify $400 for a light.

It would be a completely badass setup for lighting at the track though, when needing to do makeshift repairs at night...

I have most of their lights, except some of the newer models. I feel the same about the new tripod - I'd expect that to come down in time.. I have the old tripod and the one you have a work. They are both great imo..
the Costco snap on led light mounted on the craftsman tripod is a great alternative, and is about $45 for the setup all in for a 2000 lumen floodlight. Corded of course, but if you have a jump pack with a 110v inverter it becomes very portable since it only draws about 20 watts if I remember.

There's 2 of the older 1600 lumen snap on lights strapped to the bottom of that bucket in the air as a makeshift area light.. they work good... power is out in this area, so the only lighting here are the 2 snap on lights, the Milwaukee rocket light, and 2 $20 12v led lights I had rigged up on the boom of that digger by the controls..

I ordered the Milwaukee 2754-22 3/8 impact wrench from ACME tools today. It came with 2 - 5ah batteries and also a promo deal, an extra 5ah battery. $273.00 shipped. That was also with the 17% off deal that they offered.

Here's my collection at this point. Plus the trimmer with 9.0 battery and the blower I pre ordered.
I also have a few small things here and there like my M12 lights but this is the bulk of my Milwaukee addiction.

But why?

No offense, but they look awfully clean... I'd buy some better hand tools than hoard cordless ones.

I don't have a lot of money invested in my Milwaukee stuff. I sold some new Milwaukee tools on the side for a lot of it for about 3-4 months (End of October 2015 to end of January-ish 2016) I didn't really have anything Milwaukee before then. I have maybe somewhere just over $1000 of my own cash into Milwaukee and that's including the pre ordered trimmer and blower I just ordered.

My quality hand tools are in the other non Milwaukee boxes on the other side of the shop, most passed down from my grandfather who was in to wood working and used to refinish furniture for his antique business. Everything in the Milwaukee box is newer and was bought while I was getting the deep discounts or when it was on sale. Also saved money from the few times I bought when members posted on here about discounts. Like Dacan23 letting me know about an ACME deal when the Miter saw came out and the people posting about the ACME 17% off.

It's a $200 battery alone, and a $70 charger...

I'm going back to work tomorrow, been off since the Friday before Christmas and I got a lot of sitting around and doing nothing accomplished all week. Lol.. I expect I'll be going to hd tomorrow and picking up the tripod light for home with free battery and charger..

My cordless stuff at home doesn't see much use either - but when I need them, it's there.. it makes projects a lot easier when they come around, and the easier they are the more likely they get done - even if it's small stuff.. did a lot of manual labor when I was younger, so that and a back injury has taken its toll, and I'm not even that old yet. I seriously look at guys and ask, " that doesn't hurt for you to lean over like that?, lol.. it's worth it for me to spend the money to make life easier. I'm sure some other people can relate. If I can avoid having to bend over and drag cords around, swapping plugs back and forth - it's worth it..

Still have projects looming I'd like to do myself, and when I want to - I can..

Word of advice for the younger guys in here, don't be a hero trying to lift stuff and move things you obviously should not do alone.. one bad decision will take a toll on the rest of your life..

You can not beat that deal. Therefore you must join it. Give in and get it. The 9.0 battery and rapid charger are great and the sawzall is a beast. It really is a great deal.

I know this has been sort of discussed before, but does the M18 power source put out 2 amps or is it limited to 500ma? i will buy it if it does 2a, but at 500ma it's worthless. I am seeing conflicting reviews on milwaukeetool.com and Amazon. Thanks.

If you're wondering about the USB, I just got 1200 mA on my phone, which I'm guessing is the max rate on the phone. So I'd assume it'll do 2 amps. I can push it and find out what it'll do if you want.

You have a link for that? Thanks
https://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/milwaukee-m18-high-demand-sawzall-starter-kit-48-59-1890ps
They also have the 9.0ah 7 1/4" fuel saw kit @ 250.
Some other sites might be $10 more.

Well I did it. I figure I can always sell the battery and charger. I mean I have eight 5Ah batteries and a slew of smaller ones, don't really need the 9.0.
It's awesome even if you exclude HD's high pricing. It's like getting this for less than the regular sawzall.

I caved as well. $250 down to $206 helped my decision a bit to finally get the fuel sawzall.
Knowing how reciprosaws do with 4ah I bet it'll be sweet with 9ah. Runtime, if nothing else.
I have a older 2 & 4ah batt with my 2663 wrench but probably wont bother using em in the sawz.

I work in the security field. I haven't worked construction since 2005. I work on my own cars and on my properties is all. None of these tools get used in my current career field, they are home tools. These pics are new. I clean my tools anytime they get used, but some don't get used to often. Like the hawgs and bandsaws are probably my least used. Lights, Drills, impacts, Miter saw, sawzall and circular saws my most used. Miter saw I've only had for a few months and only has a couple hundred cuts on it. The hand tools in the Milwaukee box I don't use often, if at all.

HOLY MOLY

and to think I almost ordered a 2755B with the three 5.0 batteries today

http://toolcraze.net/new-milwaukee-m18-fuel-12-inch-mid-torque-impact-wrench/

2861-22_2_600px.png

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!!

Well, looks like I'm buying this when it comes out to compliment my compact and heavy duty fuel models lol

Haha no kidding!

In all seriousness, this makes me wanna sell my 2755B and keep the 2763 for the crazy stuff. Or maybe sell both?

For the stuff I use these on (my car), the 2755B falls short on some things (aka rusted suspension/brake parts) and is unnecessarily powerful for other things (aka under the hood 10-13mm bolts and 5mm allen bolts). It's these "under the hood" things that the right angle impact works great for and I use that much more - it's just way more compact and has better trigger control. The 2763 is unwieldy for the tasks that the 2755B struggles with under the car, but it undoubtedly makes it happen. However it's truly awesome to use when you're comfortable and have space to use it (aka lugs/axle nuts or even driving lag screws). Maybe this new impact will handle all of these things (minus the small under the hood stuff) just fine for me.

Damn you Milwaukee!!

How many of ya'll actually bought the One Key to use in it's ~application~

Granted, I love me some new tech, but I have purposely not bought the OneKey as I want less Brains in a tool. Just another component for failure.

Similar to how while brushless is great *been using brushless for 10+ years already*, but when the DC board decides to go south on ya, no operating tool. The OneKey IMO is just another point of failure in the field....

I know what you saying sometimes the HITW is just too big to fit and the "B" model doesn't have all the oompf you need.

I have a M12 RA impact I like that and the M12 Fuel models 3/8 and 1/4 driver for the really light work like small engine equipment.

Just as an FYI here I haven't yet had a chance to really put use the 1 sec impact stop feature on the new $99 2754 I recently got. I have some motorcycle reassembly coming up though so maybe try it out there.

I think it be cool if the M12 3/8 had like 4 mode settings too. I better not hope too much if hey keep coming out with new improvements my old stuff will end up on my flea mkt table much sooner than later

Damn you Milwaukee!! :D

I would have done the 2759 OK when shopping for my 2755 if price was about the same. I'd love to play around w OK, but it's just a curiosity for me. But at a premium of $30 or more I'm not willing to try it. I just don't care that much.

If Milwaukee was smart the OK shouldn't pose much risk to reliability; just select a mode OTHER THAN OK and it should function like any other, say, 2755(B)

Oh and there may come a day when all tools have this much technology & more; I was distrusting of COP and throttle-by-wire but they're extremely reliable IME. Now push button 4WD OTOH, ugh.......

I'm gonna try to sell off my M12 vacuum today....what a piece of junk. I asked the wife and she was like "Get rid of it." Our M28 "boom box" vac continues to rule for quick house clean-ups.

There just HAS TO BE a Gen 2 HITW with additional mode settings looming on the horizon

The mid torque model/Feb release was a total surprise. At least to me :D

A quick scale check shows puts my old 26 series "B" at exactly 4.0lbs with a 5.0XC battery. And the 2763 HITW @7.55lb with a 5.0

And specs shown on the web link for the new 2860 will be just 5.3lbs with a 5.0 battery.

I agree. And these couldn't have been dreamt up overnight which leads me to ask, "What's the point of NPS?"

I've had the 0882 for a couple of weeks now. I love it and so does the wife. It's great for quick cleanups around the house or while working. The only issue I had was the filter clogging up after vacuuming a bunch of drywall. I can't blame the vacuum for that, and a quick blow out with the compressor and it was good as new. As long as you don't treat it like a shop vac with a 2 1/2" the little guy works great.

Well dammit. Thanks for the info.
They have 15 or 20% off sometimes. not sure when this 9.0 + tool is ending.

That $250 tool + 9.0 batt still is a good deal.

ebay: $100-120 batt, $60 charger, $150 saw = $310 or more.

im debating getting the 7-1/4 circ saw kit but its rightside blade.
They should put the 6-1/2 with the 9.0 also.
imo cordless sawzall vs corded works better then cordless circ saw vs corded.

I'll be totally honest: Mode 4 is pretty useless and gimmicky. The impacting time varies a noticeable amount every time. It's so far from accurate by any means. Definitely not confidence inspiring. A "hand tight" mode (like the new IR) would be much more useful/convenient. Maybe something that runs things down and stops after 1 impact...

I used my M18 Wet/Dry Vac (original model) for the first time yesterday. Vacuumed out 2 cars that were each about 3.5/10 on the dirty scale, so this was a "goooood touch up" job (not light, but not heavy). I started with 3 bars (19.6 volts) on a 9.0 had 1 bar (17.7 volts) left at the end. At least 30 minutes of virtually non-stop vacuuming. Let me tell you - I am extremely impressed by the performance and run time of this thing with a 9.0! It's like they were made for each other.

I highly recommend using the 9.0 with the vacuums!

Don't forget 13% eBay/PP fees and shipping... I rarely find it worthwhile to separate and sell on eBay only to "save" a few bucks.

I just left a HD in Bridgewater NJ (I think) with the promo kit for the older rocket light w/ free battery and charger.

Have to say thanks to Patrick the Milwaukee Rep in that store.. he knocked $50 off the price of the kit that rang up for $249 in that store (another heavy duty HD location) to match the $199 price the kit is selling for in stores that normally dont sell that model of light. I think we spent about 30 minutes talking about Milwaukee Tools. I think he was a bit shocked about how much I knew about them lol..

Anyway, told him my little idea - and he took down my info and said he was gonna try to find someone to pass it along to. Also pointed out that I've never seen a Milwaukee Rep visit this site before.. showed him the Milwaukee thread with over 800,000 views now, showed him all the pics posted a page back by me and Frontierajl (cause they were the closest ones) and explained how we're all in here pressuring each other to buy Milwaukee stuff (and providing free advertising) - so he wrote down the site name to pass on too..

Was a real nice guy - glad I wound up in a store I've never been in before today.
