The Milwaukee 48-22-9801 and the Bosch GLM 15 do seem quite similar both price and function hey

I also see the Bosch being discounted slightly in price some places. Been out at least 2yrs maybe a little more now?

I have yet to find a decent bump feed head. I love my DeWalt 20v (couldn't wait for the red one), but the bump feed was horrible. I'd have to stop every 2 mins to re-feed the line. I swapped it out for a $20 cam head and now I just carry 14" pieces of precut line with me. It works 1000x better now! The cam head said for gas trimmers only, but my DeWalt spins it just fine.

No idea if they'd be interchangeable, but the bump head on my gas echo works perfectly. I've also found that when loading the head with string, it helps the take a pair of pliers and bend the tip of the line back onto itself (essentially creating a hook) to keep the line in place and secure on the reel where it's first inserted into the reel for winding..

through? What other projects do you use one for?

Make sure batteries are new and not low, almost all meters will throw readings off if batteries are not good

The multi tool is not Fuel BTW. I just got the M18 one and have had the M12 version for a while. M12 is kinda underpowered, but the M18 is suppose to be nice, not as great as a $300+ corded one. They make a special blade specifically for grout removal. I believe there is also a special grout removal blade that can be used on a sawzall, overkill would be using a full size sawzall, but might work nicely in the M12 or M18 hackzall because they have shorter throws.

I used my corded multitool when removing grout, but the best tip I have is to get the dedicated grout removal blade (its usually brass/gold colored with a rim of carbide around it)

I have used my M18 multitool quite a bit, but not for grout removal. Its definitely a handy tool to have when there isnt a live receptacle around.

I use my multitool to do electrical cutouts mainly. I've used it for sanding and cutting plexiglass too. Works like a charm.

I've got both the M12 and the M18. I prefer the M18, it's bigger...but it's a little quieter and more powerful.

As I wondered when released and saw pics, the weed wacker comes in a giant box. Shaft is one piece and you just install the handle and guard. Kinda stupid handle is held on with 2 hex cap screws and the guard is 4 torx screws, why not the same... Since theres no engine its head heavy, seems like a nice heavy duty head. Center of gravity is just in front of the handle.

So I went out and tested them, dont have to wait for months for me to post my thoughts like the M18 comact vac.

The leaf blower has some power, variable trigger or 4 speeds on the lock. Now I have a Husqvarna 50cc backpack so... I blew some dry leaves and some wet packed leave layers, it has the power to move it all well, but it does not push it very far. The dry leaves it maybe could push them 10 feet, where my gas blower will push them half way across the yard. Here's the kicker, I put a fully charged 9.0 on it, ran it on high for about 10 mins, 9.0 was down to 2 bars!!! Maybe it just went from 3-2 bars, but I doubt you could get 30 mins on high with a 9.0. Thats not going to cut it in the fall when my yard in covered in inches of leaves. I have been out there for hours before, I will not own more than 4x9.0s. I cant see a landscape company having it they would need a suitcase of 9.0s. Looks like I wont be selling my Husqvarna after all.

Fired up the weed wacker, it has 2 speeds, kinda wish it had a lock on. It makes weird sounds, like its broken. Hit a few spots on my grass and it was great on both speeds. Wonder how quickly it will drain a 9.0.

Its one box, the front of the box has a white panel on it showing the free 9.0aH pack and charger.

Yeah they did that last year towards the end but not sure about this year.

They dropped both kits involved 50.00, so the OneKey kit would (should?) drop to 449.

I buy in mostly for the discount on the 2nd tool, dropping the kit prices would help a little but its not a HUGE deal if it doesnt happen.

As tool manufacturer radios go I think its a great radio. I have had one for a couple of seasons now I use it most everyday.

Small and compact enough to fit in most small soft side tool bags. And it is plenty loud enough for me. I really have no need for radio that's bigger than my toolbox

Sound is clear little distortion until almost max
Will run about 3hrs steady on 1.5ah and I figure most of the work day on 4.0

It's old school it is just a simple radio...no battery charging. no usb either, isn't BT ready but does have aux in port. I added BT receiver so I could stream to it as a speaker. Covered door storage spot is small and probably wont fit most larger flat phones. Cord is transformer power pack style but removable when not needed. Some people complain about having a separate power supply never been a problem for me.

If you never seen the drop test video I highly recommend it

Yup! 20 min at full blast. Since the kit comes with a 9.0 battery, I assume that's what the run time is based on.

Bummer that your initial reviews aren't as positive as I hope

It also looks a lot like my current 56v ego blower, only reason I want the Milwaukee one its because of the m18 battery platform. With my ego after 18 min at full blast I have to wait an hour for a full recharge. Slow speed I can get a 30 min run.
With Milwaukee a got a couple of 5.0 and two 9.0 that can back me up on a 30 min clean up.

I thought the string trimmer was a little nose heavy as well, but once the battery is in it balanced right out. I didn't get the blower yet from ACME but I bought it to replace my small handheld gas blower. I figure it will be perfect for the small stuff. For fall cleanups I'll grab my redmax eb7001 backpack blower.

I've wanted one, but I can't say I really "need" it and it's kinda huge.
