I sometimes think I would like to see a new version of the M12 radio and would be especially to have USB charge port on it at the very least and a built in power transformer I guess so one could just use an simple extension cord.

And maybe the bottle opener too :D

Overall it does seems to be one of the very few Milwaukee radios that has weathered over its time without any major complaints (at least that I'm aware off) like the mysterious not powering up issue common with the old M18

So maybe if it ain't broke don't fix it :dunno:

Still waiting on shipping confirmation of the new BT speaker. I think Jan 25 was the tentative date given.

Bought a couple tape measures at Home Depot on closeout. Also picked up some welding gear on zoro. Amazed how fast their free shipping was.

I can't add much to what's been said about the trimmer, but I'm pleased. It cuts grass, that's for sure. It's certainly more powerful than any electric trimmer I've owned, corded or cordless. The slow speed seems a little useless, but I couldn't find any leftover patches of longer grass to really give it a fair shake. On high, it clears out light brush effectively. The balance feels nice. I think I'll enjoy having it, it certainly blows away the stupid little Worx trimmer my wife bought a few years ago, but we'll keep that around for her to use, she wouldn't be comfortable handling the M18 trimmer.

I concur. Got mine today. Did some quick test cuts. Meets my needs! Feels nice and sturdy too.

I want to buy a m18 fuel sawzall. Is the 9.0 battery worth the extra $100 that a 9.0 starter kit would cost vs buying a sawzall bare tool online? What else do you guys use your 9.0's on?

The 9.0 is an awesome battery, but it all depends on how much work your going to do with it. If your going to make a few cuts here and there, the 9.0 isn't worth it, but for more continuous use the 9.0 is really impressive. For me, cutting steel pipe makes short work of a 5.0 in my sawzall. Also keep in mind you also get the rapid charger with the kit, which is a nice upgrade from the regular charger. They can be had for under $40 bucks on ebay though.

The 9.0 is good for the sawzall as it will provide a little extra power. If your collection is going to grow especially with some lighting, then the 9.0 is great to have. Nothing definite on how good the 9.0 promos will be after the yard tool launches and promos, but I feel 6 months from now it wont be so easy to get a 9.0 cheap.

Right, is the kit worth the extra 100$ when I already have 2 5.0 batteries and only have a drill, impact, and vacuum?

I think for my use a 9.0 is overkill. If I was going to buy the trimmer and blower it might be worth it but I have gas powered and relatively new ones.

Dang missed the $15 flash sale on ebay that ended 5 min ago.

On ebay, Tools Plus has the saw for $127.50 & free shippong currently. Item # 331755916589
Acmetools.com it's $140 or more.
I did the 9.0 saw kit for $206 when there was 17% off @ Acmetools. Otherwise Id probably get the bare tool since i already have a charger so thats not really a bonus.

i just thought so. today is the last day to buy one of those kits for 225.19$, after the CLEAROUT discount prominently displayed on the front page of acmetools.com. the kit was 1$ short of the 250$ needed for the 25$ discount, and a GJ'r kindly pointed me to a milwaukee inkzall pen for 1.19$ which pushed me over the limit.

instead of the pen, you could add one of those m12 bare tool vacuums, and get 50$ off, making the vacuum an additional 34$.

new, the bare tool sells or about 120$ consistently on ebay auctions. the 9.0 kit is stuck at 140$ buy it now on ebay (dont remember any auctions).

i am betting something like a sawzall really ***** down a bunch of juice.

At Home Depot, when purchased with the eligible OneKey combo kit, either of the 9.0 Ah promotion kits (9.0 Ah pack + charger + sawzall or 9.0 Ah pack + charger + circ saw) come down to ~$180.00

Its up to you what you want to do with the OneKey kit afterwards......

I actually just watched that a day or two ago.. I'd be willing to bet it's hit or miss as to what type of cells are used in each pack.. they are probably just buying up what they can, from who they can, and making packs out of them..

I would like this guys videos better if he didn't talk like an idiot - and I'll never get past the video he made showing people that he resurfaced his brake rotors with a palm sander. He might be the smartest idiot on YouTube.

With so many kits being separated and parted out on eBay, my feeling is to just stick with the Milwaukee batteries. There are always deals and promos on them too.. I MIGHT be persuaded to try an m12 knock off if they sell a compact 3.0 that's any good. The Milwaukee price is a bit out there for those.. they're starting to get greedy with some of these things..

I ordered mine online with the saw being sent to me and the onekey kit for store pickup once i got shipping confirmation on saw i went to store and had them cancel my pickup also doing it this way showed me what i was paying for each item and how much the refund was. Also heads up the one key dropped to 449 at my store and the 200 is still going online, with the price drop on the one key it makes the saw and 9.0 about $10 cheaper

That is very tempting, I just don't want to get stuck with a OneKey kit that I have no need for. For the 57$ difference from a 120$ bare tool the 9.0 and charger would be handy to have another battery and charger.

They'll take it back, Ive never had a problem doing it.

It works the same in store, you'll see the 200.00 discount spread across both items (they will have a "max return value" under each on the receipt).

So CPO has free shipping over $49 offer this weekend. And been looking at the 2352-20 M18 sticklight for a while now since the original price has dropped.

I have the M12 its handy and just like the M12 led flashlight I really like the inline form when using compact batteries. I don't usually commit the larger XC's to small power consumables like the lights and instead leave them for the high draw power tools

On the other hand the big flat bottom M18 batteries and additional weight make for very stable base when using that series flashlight (was freebie for me along with 4.0 battery on tool set purchase) and I almost exclusively commit my old 1.5ah compacts to that use now. I find the M18 led flashlight very handy to use when I work under my tractor.

Anybody have both or can make any comparisons to the two sticklights. :dunno: The M18 has two modes one is brighter than the M12 and one is slightly less is that correct? Having the swivel head is obviously a plus too over the M12.

I found CPO a bit disappointing this morning.

The free shipping doesn't apply to recon.
They're completely out of M12 3.0's
They're completely out of M12 6.0's
Their search engine doesn't even recognize the 2754/2755 boot 49-12-0012

I am always disappointed with CPO, rarely click on their email bait and when I do I get pissed.

Wished the M12 compact 3.0 worked on the 150/200 HD promo, it doesnt, plus HD is out of the 3.0.

Yes they are.

Funny I talked to a rep in HD the other day and he was not aware of 2897 or OK kit price drops.... but said there may be some things in the future as they are looking to clear out some inventory.

These all Home Depot prices?

Finally got around to calling Milwaukee for the 2130 updated clamps and the adapter kit to use a 9.0 in the 2361.

Asked the tech guy about the M18 string trimmer and if it was built to swap the head to other attachments. He said it was and there are a few things in development.

That tool boot seems really hard to come by lately. Did you find it?
