Anyone have a 2712 1" SDS? I recently got mine and the switch to change modes gets stuck just about every time I use it. If I tap the trigger to rotate the chuck a bit, it'll usually free up and click into position. Not sure if this is normal operation or not.

It's called:

He is the biggest JO though. His ego is bigger than his body. People bragged about his quick shipping etc. I bought a set of air hammer bits and had to msg him asking when I was getting them. And I'm local. lol

Good deal but I'll buy from somebody who appreciates their people.

So who would choose the FUEL 15 ga finish nailer over the 16ga angle nail gun if they were both $259?

And they are also having the 20% off selected kits and accessory combo purchases like CPO was doing and have a few other specials going on.


The older 2663-21 impact wrench kit is just $159 and a purchase of an XC drywall screwgun kit will get you a free cutout tool.

Also the M18 2354-20 led floodlight (reg $99) is free with a 5.0 starter kit so its just $159 for whole pkg.

Many deals are limited either by time or quantity

I have not had any problem with 16ga straights but looking online and especially at HD the collated 16 ga 20*angle finish nails were very limited but and 15g had much better selection.

I was just reading a review too that gave a decent thumbs up for setting interior prehung doors with the additional strength of the 15ga. And I have six more doors to set someday here :D

Long ago I set quite a bit interior trim with only an 18ga but I much prefer the 16 since I have added one. I thought I had my mind made up with the 2742 but then they threw this wrench into the works :lol_hitti

What do you want to know :D

They have had high torque and compact versions in both brushed and brushless (Fuel) and now have a mid torque in brushless Fuel

The mid torque Fuel and the brushed 2663 performance specs are similar on paper but the new Fuel model is quite a bit smaller in size.

The high torque Fuel is the most powerful but also the biggest and heaviest


The compacts are sweet tools and have a limited power range but are still more powerful than the impact hex drivers

I really like my older 2655B Gen 1 Fuel series 3 speed a lot but that is pretty much unavailable the 2755B is the replacement model


The first B had a ball pin retention the new B has a hog ring anvil for convenience of tool less socket removal and there are also locking pin models for positive socket retention.
