Was in HD today and the Milwaukee rep was there and we started talking. Nice guy but I asked if there was any deals and he showed me a couple. Told him I had the M12 fuel hammer drill, fuel impact, and 3/8" ratchet already and the M18 fuel drill, fuel impact, fuel high torque, fuel circ saw, fuel sawzal, fuel drywall gun, cut out tool, multi tool, lantern, flashlight, and radio. So most of the deals I have already and asked if he could do any kind of deal on some of the other more expensive tools like the SDS, bandsaw, hole hawg, or the tools that never have deals. He couldn't do anything and pretty much lost interest in talking to me when I told him I had all the basic tools. Guess he was just there for the homeowners buying the non fuel drill driver kits or something. Figured after he saw I had a pretty decent collection he might be able to do some kind of deal on one of the bigger tools I didn't have yet. Or throw in a battery or something if I bought one or more of these bigger tools. But didn't offer up anything. Oh well.
I am looking at one of the deals on HD's website and that he said will be in store tomorrow also where you buy a m12 non fuel drill/driver/hackzall kit and get to pick another tool for 199 bucks. I'd give the drill/driver and one battery to my mom who said she wants a drill/driver and then I would keep the other two tools and one of the batteries since she will only use her's a few times a year. Get the hackzall and either the flood light, multi tool(already have the M18 multitool but the smaller m12 might be nice), or the cordless compact vac, or extra 6.0 battery. Could use another M12 battery but will have 3 of them and mostly use my m18 and have 3 rapid chargers so would rather have another tool. The vac doesn't really interest me, want to get the m18 wet/dry vac sometime. Have the m18 multitool so I'm leaning towards the flood light. Have a m18 lantern and flashlight but an m12 flood light would be a good addition. Unless someone wants to sway me towards one of the other tools?

I have that backpack. It weighs about 70 lbs and is packed full. It has a version of most of your pictures tools plos many many more.

Got a replacement M12 drill 2403-20, it works great. It might be my favorite drill and I have lots. Light, relatively quiet, and powerful for 12v. Now I know why they say the M12 drill can take care of most tasks.

Couple drill bits..
So far everything is in that bag and it's not close to full yet. I'm hoping I'll be able to squeeze the m12 fuel hammer drill, impact, and hackzall and socket set in there too.. I'll be ******* amazed if I get it all in there..

My plumber has one of those backpacks and it is packed full of just about every hand tool he has. I was really impressed when he showed me it. I don't think it's a solution for me but for a plumber or electrician it looks like it fits perfect.

Mine has m18 hammer drill, impact driver, sawzall, mid torque, batteries, charger, 2-3 bit kits, 2 drill bit sets, 2 hammers, demolition screwdrivers, 10-1 screwdriver, 2-3 25' tape measures, 5 knives, knipex mini bolt cutter, knipex cobra, Irwin pistol, impact square adapters, flashlights, markers, tin snips, diagonal cutters,assorted screwdrivers, level, sawzall blades, Milwaukee hand tool for sawzall blades and some more hand tools in forgetting.

I was concerned getting m18 stuff just for the size factor. I went pack and forth a few times. There isn't much difference with the drills, but the saw and lights are just too much. I wanted a jigsaw too after working with this one guy yesterday and watching him mangle lock boxes trying to make them fit. I wanted to try to keep things smaller for this kit. not sure if I made a good call yet goin with the m12, but I'll find out. Every other tool I got for the other trucks are all m18. I wanted to keep everything compatible with each other, but I figure someone else will have the bigger stuff if need be. I'm HOPING the m12 fuel hammer drill will manage a few 3/8 holes in concrete for the occasion. That's the biggest hole I need it for. The m18 fuel drill isn't too bad, but there's a definite difference between that and the small m18 fuel sds. I figure if the m12 is really that bad, I can try the small sds version of that one. I refuse to deal with extension cords like some other guys. It's a complete waste of time, between finding outlets and them spending 10 minutes de-tangling their 100' extension cord after using them. It's just aggravation I don't wanna deal with.
Been doing a lot of work in the city, with other guys that do different stuff than I normally do and wanted to try to keep my hands free for other things. Having to park a block away is enough motivation to scale down and go with the backpack if it saves a trip. I've watched some other guys mangle things trying to do jobs without the right tools. I'm not gonna be one of those people.

Well I am going to go there today to see what I find (I will be lucky if my store has them in stock)
I really like the Milwaukee magnetic end tapes and want a 25 footer so a two for one would be even better
I have found the 16ft to be just right size for my tool pouch
Stay away from the cheaper ones they offer though.
Edit: Checking online inventory it looks like only a ship to store offer for me.

Found the 12' at HD for $8.97, but didnt see a 2 pack? Did you see it at HD?
They have the 16' 2 pack for $12.88, so will probably grab that one

My mistake, 16 foot is what I meant.
Just finished using that backpack for the first time.. it holds alot of stuff, and of course my first day with it in Manhattan, the buildings freight elevator was out. Climbed 10 floors with that thing on my back and I thought I was gonna ****** die.
I will be lightening the load next time... Gotta say though, there's so much padding on the back of that thing it's not uncomfortable at all. Heavy, yes, but nothing digs into ya despite the weight.. right now I'm thanking myself for buying the 125' snake instead of the 240' model I grabbed first...

I like mine, I need a 5.0 since I use it to trim branches sometimes and like to use the juice quickly on a standard battery, its cut anything I've needed it to from metal rebar to maple branches without a problem besides battery life

Have I overlooked Milwaukee's lineup or do they have a DA polisher in the 5.5-6" size in the Fuel lineup? My Porter Cable is starting to wear out after 15 years and would be nice to have a cordless option for use at shows, etc where there isnt an outlet to plug into.

I saw that one but was wanting a DA insted of a rotary. For me I get better results quicker with a DA than rotary but I may get this and try to prefect my skills.

So here's some news.. I ordered the "NEW" Milwaukee Gridiron non heated jacket that just came out. I opted for the classic style without the hood.. with the exception of the labeling, a zipper pull inside, and one small area of lining under the armpits INSIDE the jacket, it's the EXACT same jacket as the black 3-in-1 heated ripstop jacket.. it's the same jacket in every other way that they started selling two years ago. all they did was start selling the jacket separately without the heated hoodie. I guess that was the prototype for the material and we didnt even realize.
So if you already bought a heated hoodie kit for $149, you can make it a "3-in-1" kit if you buy the classic style Gridiron jacket for $149 also... That explains the pricing too.. lol. The hoodies that come with the 3-in-1 jacket are different from the other hoodie kit, but the jacket is the same.. outside the only difference is my 3-in-1 has a Milwaukee label that's completely black, and the "Gridiron" jacket has a red Milwaukee label.
So it looks like I just saved $150 since I already own the damn thing, and now I have to return it to Acme Tools.
The funny part is I put it on, and was like "this is pretty nice I might keep it", and 5 min later I was like "wait a second...". Guess I should start wearing my 3-in-1 more..

Me too. No need to get out the chain saw when I can use my M18 Fuel SawzAll to cut up branches.
Was thinking about packout pricing, the organizer is $45 which is $20 more than their old organizer. Seems steep, old organizer goes on sale for $20. See normal price of the new one at $40 in 6 months hopefully with sale prices of $30.

Called them last week, their load of stuff from Milwaukee came in and they saved me two. I don't think they would have called me or even noticed they owed me them unless I hounded. Picked up two 2.0 M12s on Friday on way to S Bend.. Whew!

The first one is a 2704 hammer drill and the second is a 2703 non hammer drill

The first one is the 2704. It's just a hair smaller with a little bit more torque. The second one is the 2703, it's the older one to the 2704. I have them both and they're both great.

Is there only one 3/8" fuel impact? Or do they make a compact and non compact or anything else? Just got a set of 3/8" impacts and I have been using my fuel hex driver but thinking I want to get a 3/8" impact to use instead. My fuel hex drive impact takes off my lugs on the F250 so it's powerful enough but it's usually with my construction tools and not always by my sockets. Have enough batteries so just need the bare tool.
Yeah there's only one model it's compact and still plenty powerful though. It's either 210 or 220ft/lbs. It's funny because people always say they go with the M12 because of how compact it is, but the M18 is actually significantly smaller and not much heavier.

Here's an idea.. Husky makes a 14" rolling tool bag for $59. It's about the same width as the backpack. With the handles extended, the Milwaukee bag had Velcro straps intended to secure it to a handtruck. They fit on the Husky handles perfectly, and you can stack the two on top of one another.
I think I'm gonna keep the power tools in the Husky bag, and all the hand tools in the Milwaukee.

Picked up a 30 degree knuckle .. at Hoosier Supply in South Bend, roughly $13.. Checked Rural King this am, and much to my surprise it was double there.. Not sure who's wrong.. but making the buy in S Bend feels good..
