Is there only one 3/8" fuel impact? Or do they make a compact and non compact or anything else? Just got a set of 3/8" impacts and I have been using my fuel hex driver but thinking I want to get a 3/8" impact to use instead. My fuel hex drive impact takes off my lugs on the F250 so it's powerful enough but it's usually with my construction tools and not always by my sockets. Have enough batteries so just need the bare tool.

There are two FUEL 3/8 " sq. drive impact tools one in each platform M12 and M18. Unless I misread your post I did not read what platform you are in and asking about.

I have both the 2454 and 2754. I use the 2454 3/8" drive most often barely ever use the 2754 compact. I only bought it cuz it was $99 bucks on special. I personally go to my 1/2" 2655B first almost every time in M18. But that just me I change 15" farm trailer tires a lot at my job the M12 can cover it ok most times unless one has parked out in wet tall grass for close to 12 months...or maybe more :D

3/4 ton lugs could be pretty tough depending on condition.

Out of production, probably some still kicking around.

Is the 2654 wrench still in production or are there just old stock available? I know I tried to get another 2655B bare tools were all out of stock and only found a few -22 kits which I didn't really want

So I've been emailing this eBay seller of the PowerExtra m12 batteries. First they issued me a $3 refund.. when I said "that's nice, now are you gonna change the add and let people know that your packing 2.0 batteries from North Korea labeled to look like LG cells and selling them as 2.5's all over the internet?", I got an email 2 days later saying they issued me a full refund..

Edit - 30% refund offered at first, not $3..

Yea the Powerextra battery I bought is made with cells from Kastar, which is manufactured in North Korea. The first letters on the cells are LG, so most people would assume it's an LG cell. Online, the cell lists a "guaranteed" minimum output of 2000mah, and are in turn advertised as 2100mah. Powerextra is packing these in m12 cases, with a circuit board, and advertising them online as 2500mah batteries for all M12 tools.

Add pictures here - (cause the model numbers are flaky in the listing on some places)

And here's the circuit board -

eBay messages - (part of em anyway) - my spelling is horrible cause I sent it from my phone. Damn auto spell.

I am SERIOUSLY considering listing the battery and all those pictures on eBay with a buy it now price of $1,000.. I saw a YouTube video where a guy tried to resell one of their batteries, and the Powerextra seller harassed the hell out of him, and ultimately bought the battery to get it off eBay.

I was looking at the drill +driver with free sawzall....am I the only one that gets bugged when they mix fuel with non fuel. If you want fuel for your drill and your driver wouldn't you probably want a fuel sawzall too?

Just scored a good deal on a virtually brand new M12 screwdriver with (2) batteries at our only decent local pawn shop. Check out the receipt...... $30 out the door!

what i dont understand is why they sell FUEL tools with the old slow charger. i understand that the kit might not include high AH batteries, but why include an old charger with a premium tool?

Likely because there is still so much old stock out there. All the kits with 9s come with rapid, eventually the Fuels should too.

The M18 wet/dry vac I just got, was drop ship, red box was in a brown box that said 26xx of 3000 from the production run in 2016!

Score! I've been shopping for the M12 screwdriver myself and that's less than 1/2 the cost of the best deal I have seen.

Yeah I've always thought it would be handy for light duty fastening needs. Cheapest new one on EBay right now is $48 w/o batteries so I'm thinking I did okay. Almost all my Milwaukee stuff is M18 but I do have the M12 jigsaw and ratchet. Can always use extra batteries.

I woulda bought that in a heartbeat.. that's an insane deal
Even the tagged price of $49.95 wasn't terrible but all tools were 40% off. Came to $32.** after tax and I asked if they would make it $30 otd.

BTW...... how do I read the manf. date on the batteries?

I preordered from acme tools I think..

The rover light is pretty bright. The usb cables are real heavy duty too.. very nice construction on both items.. they are charging right now. I literally opened the box and took pics, barely even played with em yet..

I bought one at Home Depot today.

Thanks, Just checked the stock for every store we'll be near, none have any, and it won't let me order online at the moment, will try again tomorrow and see if I can get it delivered to our last hotel.

Thanks

For anyone that's interested I just received and email from Acme Tools about a 48 hour Milwaukee sale. $20 off $100 purchase by using the code RED2DAY ... use it wisely.

Side note...I'm not sure if this thread is supposed to "help" people overcome their Milwaukee addiction or "help" them enable it...For me, I've been "enabled" to relapse more times than I'd like to admit and just wanted to return the favor.

Be advised, Acme offers free shipping on orders over a $199 purchase (reasonable shipping below orders totaling $199) and does not charge sales tax in most states (excluding North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Michigan and Wisconsin). I don't work for them but I do spend a lot of $$$ there and their customer service is fantastic.

I'm gonna buy the pen light, and the USB charger kit also

That small USB Rover and the USB flashlight are on the shelves in some HD'S already. They are with the other small flashlights and headlamps, not the tool isle.

Well thanks to the coupon for Acme, after much deliberation, I went with the M18 Rover 2360 with free XC battery and picked up an M18 Power Source all for $160. Not bad. Have the M12 grease gun on the way, have the M18 at work wanted one for side work at the house. Fuel Bandsaw came last week, that thing is a monster. Beautiful cuts. I'm fabbing up a vertical mount for it now.

I'm officially done buying Milwaukee until the Fuel ratchets come out. No more... this time for real haha.

Ok... hardhat light, - awesome... used it tonight.

The new shockwave lineman auger bit - holy hell, the thing is twice as fast as the old model bits.. this bit will easily double the amount of holes that can be drilled with that cordless 7/16 hex drive high torque fuel impact.. and it's lighter too.. big chips of wood are thrown from the back of the bit, not DUST..

The usb rover, great light for inspection and survey work. Small enough to fit in your pocket and it gives off a nice wide flood light.

Just ordered the pen light, and the usb charger kit with spare battery.. don't think I'm gonna get the new flashlight, just cause, cmon - how many friggin flashlights am I gonna buy...

Taking the RED2DAY discount on the 2688-20 heat gun preorder :D

ACME through FB told me I can also get some kind of discount during my birthday month so I dunno what that consists of but we shall soon see.

Tempted to preorder the rover floodlight also

EDIT: my lack of willpower got the best of me and I ordered the rover as well
