I think I posted this already. It's not Milwaukee, but that 14" rolling tool bag from Husky that has the extending handles is a good compliment to the original Milwaukee backpack. The rolling bag is about the same width as the backpack, and the backpack has Velcro straps on the back made for a hand truck. They fit the Husky handles perfect, so you can stack the backpack on top of the rolling bag, strap it to the handles and go. I have a pic of it I'll post up later. I'm keeping some of the cordless Milwaukee stuff that I don't think will be used much in the Husky, and the more frequently used stuff in the backpack. Hoping it works out, but for now it's just keeping things organized in the van. Only thing I still need to get is that smaller m18 fuel sds hammer drill. I'll have that, the compact m18 vac, m12 jigsaw and m12 Spotlight in the Husky, and the m12 fuel drill, impact, stick light, and hackzall in the backpack.

I ordered two 4.0 batteries from Rocketiaq.com and they sent me these ones first before I bitched and they sent me the right ones. I have no use for these and I can send them to someone for whatever it costs to get them. They do take a charge and work.

PM me.

Just out of pure curiosity, you should open one up and see what cells are in there.. if they are something halfway decent you might as well keep them..

Send me some shipping costs are they're all yours. I may regret saying this but I have more batteries than I need with these.

That's the price those blowers should've been since the beginning.

My OPE set is complete now.

Were these on the clearance rack?

The blowers are awesome. Possible they are my favorite M18 tool. I will be getting a second one before long.

Depends on your Home Depot. Some are full price and other are at clearance. hedgers hit $43.03 too.

The best deal was the blower kit...$70.03 for blower, 9.0 battery and rapid charger. Was posted on the hot deals thread.

And I wonder if the first XC's weren't 2.8 rounded up given the 1828 part #

1840 is 4.0
1850 is 5.0 and so on

That is insane. I wish my Home Depot ever had anything Milwaukee on clearance.
I wish my HD understood the concept of clearance!!

The with Mark $150 item at $146 and call it clearance!!

They have a used m18 brushless non hammer drill that has been marked clearance forever at $149....it isn't even worth that brand new.

Oh I forgot to mention, part of the order I couldn't pick up from hd was that $70 Milwaukee ratchet and socket set. I got the see the ratchet though. The head on the 3/8" ratchet is tiny.. like the size of a quarter.. nothing like the HF models..

Also, the combo wrenches are listed for presale on acme. $130 for the 15 piece set.

The m12 combo kit had the free batteries and as I was working today downstocked the headlamp and made sure to put one aside for myself. We also received the USB charger kit/m12 USB power adapter but @ $50 I felt like I didn't need it.

Hd had the same deal on the m12 fuel kit if ordered online, and they told me it was a "special order" so I couldn't return it and rebuy it on a different card when I went to pick it up. it's just the same m12 Fuel kit on the shelf, with a pack of batteries from the peghook thrown in. I had to give up the free batteries and just buy the fuel combo instead.

The hardhat light is nice, you'll like it. I ordered the usb charger kit and extra battery also.

Trust me, if I had seen the fuel kit on promo I would of ordered that. No biggie, these won't see heavy use as they're mainly for the house and I've got the M18s at the shop.

The light is plenty bright and seems pretty comfortable. I'll have to test it out this week and see.

Let us know what you find out. I went to all the Home Depots around here that had them in stock and they were all regular price still. Such as the luck for my area.

I had them run the price at both stores and they were still 149. I'm probably going to call and have them do a price check on the sku number here in the next day or two though to see if they did mark them down.

So they had the blowers marked down to like $105 but that was it. Manager tried to tell me no home depot stores would mark it that low, basically saying I was full of it.

You should have showed the manager the picture posted on here with an entire rack all marked down to $38 each.

The m12 fuel combo can be bought online for the same price as the kit in the store, but it comes with 2 free 1.5 batteries too.

My local hd is one of the "heavy duty" stores, so basically it's one where Milwaukee took over all the hilti shelf space years ago. Milwaukee stuff is hardly ever on clearance. The last thing on clearance was a single m12 fuel hackzall bare tool marked down to $113. I stared at it for weeks, and when I finally decided that I was gonna put a M12 kit together for work, it was gone.. No stores carry the hackzall bare tool in the stores anymore. Now it's an online purchase only unless you buy they kit. I think I'm just gonna get the kit for the extra $30 or so, just to get the 4.0 battery it comes with.

After that the only other thing I really wanna try and pick up myself is the smaller m18 fuel sds drill with the company card.. gonna try to have them order a few of V1 rocket tower kits that are online only purchases from HD. There are still some promo boxes with a charger and 5.0 battery available online for $199. A couple of those, some search lights, and hopefully a few d handle sds plus drills, and this place should be set with Milwaukee stuff.

Went to my local HD today. All M18 outdoor tools were full price... No clearance anything anywhere. They do have the little Milwaukee penlight in. Seemed nice enough but a bit steep at 20$. They also had the hard hat light which was brighter than I expected for 39$.

I saw the pen light today as well, online at cpo and acme it's still listed as preorder only for some reason. I already paid for a preorder which is annoying now that I know it's available 5 min away lol. I might just buy it tomorrow then I'll have one for work and one for home. The rubber on the end is the big seller for me. So simple but so genius.

That's not the "hardhat" model.. that's the "headlamp" model. They both come with hardhat clips. The headlamp is smaller and uses regular batteries instead of the new battery platform. The hardhat model is also brighter, and MIGHT have different modes for the light output and pattern.

So when you're working on something and you bite down on it so your hands are free, you aren't chomping down on metal.

Yea it's suppose to be a non hazardous type of rubber too.. so I guess you can eat it if your lunch is late.

The magnet on the rover light, on the clip side (if you stuck it to the wall on the long edge) should have been a little stronger.. Or, they should have just added a small magnet at the opposite end, by the bottom the battery door too so it would be really solid in that position..

Still, it's an awesome little light.. I think if anyone is gonna use these things for any extended period of time, they should invest in the charger kit with the extra battery too.

Now - what would be REALLY nice, and I'm sure Milwaukee didn't think of this, would be if they made an adapter for the M12 charger that would allow you place these single cells into that charger. Like, 3" tall base from the m12 battery, with a circle inside that the single cell can be placed into.. OR - even a hollow full sized m12 battery formed to allow you to pop the top off, insert the single cell, reattach the top, and insert the hole deal into the charger, OR, the M12 power source to even charge a phone.. Patent Pending Milwaukee- now you'll have to hire me as a consultant..

The m12 power source with USB output is available with the new wall outlet and USB cord
