The m12 power source with USB output is available with the new wall outlet and USB cord

Yea, but that only works with m12 batteries.. it's just a new version of the old m12 power source.

What I'm saying is it would be nice if they made an M1 (for lack of a better term) to M12 adapter battery "shell". so you'd be able to use the old or new m12 battery source, with BOTH the M1 and M12 battery. The single cell is enough to help charge a phone.. and plus you'd be able to use the m12 charger for the M1 battery. A little circuitry inside maybe, and you'd be able to use the chargers you already have.

Also, im gonna bet we're gonna see some more dual pack m18 tools coming.. I'll bet of the first will be a big rotary hammer.

I think I posted this already. It's not Milwaukee, but that 14" rolling tool bag from Husky that has the extending handles is a good compliment to the original Milwaukee backpack. The rolling bag is about the same width as the backpack, and the backpack has Velcro straps on the back made for a hand truck. They fit the Husky handles perfect, so you can stack the backpack on top of the rolling bag, strap it to the handles and go. I have a pic of it I'll post up later. I'm keeping some of the cordless Milwaukee stuff that I don't think will be used much in the Husky, and the more frequently used stuff in the backpack. Hoping it works out, but for now it's just keeping things organized in the van. Only thing I still need to get is that smaller m18 fuel sds hammer drill. I'll have that, the compact m18 vac, m12 jigsaw and m12 Spotlight in the Husky, and the m12 fuel drill, impact, stick light, and hackzall in the backpack.
No pictures?

And just FYI - EVERYTHING in those pics is brand new.. so don't jump on me about not using tools. Lol.. these won't be used everyday anyway, but they need to be in there for the days I wind up just using the van.

Hey everyone, so i got told to try Milwaukee by a few friends, but some older technicians at work said otherwise (they suggested Hitachi or Makita etc). Anyway, i went ahead and bought the Milwaukee M18BPP2D-202C drill/impact driver combo kit.

Anyway, first time i used the drill, i blew it up drilling out a bolt. But the impact driver is still going, and the thing is a beast!! Use it everyday. My question is, is the brushed Milwaukee stuff **** compared to the Fuel Brushless line?

I'm thinking of sticking with Milwaukee now i have two batteries, despite my slightly crappy run with them. What would you guys suggest for a new drill?

I suggest you bring it back to the store and get a new one.. the brushed stuff is not junk, it's just not utilizing the newest technology, and doesn't have the highest torque specs offered by Milwaukee. It still does have overload protection, so it should have stopped itself before anything bad happened.

If you decide to step up, the fuel models offer the most you can get. Also, the higher amp hour batteries will give you a bit more power and a lot more runtime over those compact 2.0 batteries. Most fuel kits will come with 5.0 batteries now in the combo kits. You will notice a difference over that base model drill.

Here, old vid but check it out. your model numbers will vary over there though.
Skip to 7:00 for the demos. The gen2 is the current model, not new by any stretch now. don't think u can even buy the first one anymore.

And just for educational purposes, here's the new high torque impact wrench that just came out. This is basically the new king of 1/2" cordless impact wrenches.

Thanks for your input. Yeah, I did return it, this was 4 weeks ago when it failed. I contacted them last Friday and they literally forgot about it, and only sent it off for analysing the day I spoke to them.

I'll give it another go if i do get a new drill out of it, but yeah the drill never stopped it just kept going and blew, so perhaps the overload protection wasn't functioning?

Nice clean setup. Making tools man portable takes a lot more effort and thought than people realize.

Seeing this pic raises a question for me; is the M18 hose an 1/8NPT fitting?

I attempted to put on the Lock-N-Lube yesterday, but decided to stop when it felt like it was galling. Pulled it off, looks like the second thread in on the coupler is flattened. Don't want to ruin the coupler or the hose by forcing it, but yours obviously fit on the M12 and they use the same hose... :dunno::dunno:

Funny you asked, I actually swapped the lock n lube to the M18 and placed a Univer-co on the M12 this morning. Had no issues placing it on the M18

My M12 Grease Gun should be waiting for me at home today. I noticed alot of online complaints about not being able to prime it but I have a feeling that is mostly operator error.

Heres the double deal, not sure how long it will last. The M12 2597-22 kit can be obtained from many sites with both the 20% off and either free battery 2 pack or free vac, lantern, bluetooth speaker. So it ends up being $183 for the kit plus freebie. Yeah yeah new M12 Fuel is coming out, but it will be $250-280 when released.

So when I was just checking the prices of those on eBay I saw that there's a listing for the M18 Fuel Impact Driver w/ONEKEY for $95!! I would be all over it but they're out of stock currently. I have the Sawzall w/ONEKEY and it's a really cool feature set that I imagine would be 100x more useful to me in a fastening tool.

Some local B&M stores are running trade in deal for $100 off a new Milwaukee kit.... Underhood kit is eligible, $150 for kit I would be happy with.... Too bad I recycled old broken tools batteries like ng ago.

CPO qualifying accessory, 48-39-0572, 48-32-4013, 48-22-8030, 49-22-1105, 48-22-7112. Add one those to cart with 2597-22 and 20% is auto, in cart theres a link to pick free gift.
Acme is doing this deal, but I dont see it at CPO? The Acme deals seems to be a free pack of batteries, no choice of items like CPO. Im CPO challenged too :headscrat lol
