That was prob the gen1 light.. I have two already![]()
Any good reviews of the M12 circular saw vs M18 fuel fuel 6.5 saw? I prefer the blade orientation on those saws vs the 7.25 saw.
Sell one and upgrade to Gen2, its much better, thats what I would do.

I’d bet Milwaukee would do real good offering a 7-1/4 worm drive saw with the blade on the left. Majority of people I talk to prefer the blade on the left, I just don’t understand why they put every saw blade on the left then put the fuel 7-1/4 on the right????

I don't recall how much longer this kit is on sale, mine arrived yesterday. Free shipping with $50 in total purchases.

There is absolutely no comparison of the M12 to the M18 FUEL. 5 3/8" trim saws are just that expect to use mostly on 3/4 stock and less. If your intentions are to cut 2x stock with it your just doing yourself a disservice
...SNIP
Anybody notice that the M12 inflator is gone from Milwaukee's site
Huh? I have both and bought the M12 for 2x and under. And it kicks ***. Why do you say it's a disservice? It's light and powerful. (I'm talking home projects...not a 8hr framing day)

Maybe they read thos thread and sent it back to R&D lol.

Took the old M12 BT speaker snow shoeing with me today. Hooked to my belt with a carabineer. And my MP3 player was tucked safely away in my jacket pocket![]()
How do you like that, I'm needing a new Bluetooth speaker for my tool box and this might be a good option, does it get plenty loud?
Knocked it of the tool box by accident. It bounced off a floor jack then hit the concrete floor and ended up under my rollaway. No marks nothing broke either! Drawback with that is short battery life with it's internal battery. If you can usb charge when your playing you will be ok I have the matco version of your sunex socket speaker and it's nice but the charge port broke off and it distorted bad so not worth fixing.I like it fine and I have many BT speakers to compare it too. It does has "some distortion" with some music at max volume. A lot depends on the type of music AND the quality of the recording. Most of my music sounds plenty ok on it. The best part for me is having a removable rechargeable battery compared to some of my other portable BT speakers And it is pretty rugged. I say if you are already on the M12 platform its worth getting. It was a really good deal on promo with battery and charger once. Haven't looked much so I don't know what might be available. Mine was a bare tool off Amazon for $40 and came with no packaging but did have owners manual so I believe it was new just made to fit in a smaller shipping box
Sunex makes a neat magnetic "socket speaker" looks like an impact socket. I've proof tested that one tooKnocked it of the tool box by accident. Siunex now has a new magnetic "soundbar" out ACME sells both speakers
I also have the big M12/M18 BT speaker. I think that one is awesome and I use it all the time in the house and take both the Milwaukee's to my jobs too. M12 4.0 batteries never run out all day![]()
I also put BT receiver dongle on the M12 radio.
I have some other BT speakers like an Altec Lansing H20 and Monster so I can give decent opinions on few.

Currently I have only m18 stuff at home so if I went with the m12 speaker I'd have to buy at least one battery and it would mostly sit till I'm outside working or in the synod. I just like that it's small enough to put in a drawer.
The bigger speaker would be over kill but with all my m18 batteries I wouldn't need to buy one right away, also I like it could charge my phone if needed.

Thanks for the links, my local HD has both speakers at the same prices as your links so I'm gonna go there and check them out. The YouTube reviews make the m12 really quiet and the bigger one has AC power to so I'm leaning towards that one unless it's really big in person.
A side note, I looked up the 28921 on tool topia and their "sale" price is $175. WTF.

I got robbed, I paid $149 for mine about 6 months ago and it was the bare tool.
Still worth the money. Great sound, and I can grab any of my M12 or M18 batteries to throw in it.

I say there is a wee bit of size difference
One is more like the size of a beer can...
The other is definitely bigger than a football![]()

How long until Milwaukee makes something similar to this?
https://www.protoolreviews.com/news/hitachi-multivolt-battery-coming-fall-2018/36019/

They may not be Milwaukee, but they are for the Milwaukee roto hammers I have at work...
My 39" long Bosch sds plus bits got delivered today.. lol.. I dare you to find a wall thicker than these.. I'd have to stand them up next to the vacuum cleaner or something for you guys to appreciate the size of these things.. you could play stickball with these things.
Edit - found something better to convey the size.

I don't mind the price of the 9ah & 5ah but the compact batteries have crazy high price per capacity. A 2.5 or 3ah compact m18 would be sweet for like $35-40. 8ah for $ 100 can be had now, but only as a ryobi 4ah 2pk, lol. I use the 9ah on saws, 5ah for drill & compact for impct drvr usually.36/18 8.0 battery for $99! Hopefully with more competition it will brimg tool battery prices down.
