How is this for an addiction to Milwaukee...

I nebulize daily for my Asthma... I have been using this portable nebulizer for years. Their Lithium Ion batteries are 1.67amps and are good for one good 15 minute "nebulize". Their batteries cost about $100 each and don't have an advanced protection system so... they die after about a year of use. They used to be made in Germany (those lasted years)... now they are made in Taiwan... many are DOA now.

ANYWAY...

Milwaukee M12 batteries are 12v Lithium Ion... and with a home made patch cable... power my nebulizer for up to EIGHT runs... 6.0amp...

Wife said... when it's stored in that bag to the left... it looks like a home made bomb...

Need to remove some decking that is screwed down with 3 inch square drive screws . Could I use my 18 V Milwaukee impact driver for this or is it best suited for driving screws rather than backing them out ? Or should I just use my 18 V Milwaukee drill driver ?
Thanks !

i will note that i have used an impact for driving screws and bolts, and have occasionally had the screw/bolt catastrophically fail. wear eye protection.

this is also something to consider if you want all the fasteners in a neat line, like on the deck . . . .

Cool! Though I agree with your wife, it might raise some eyebrows...especially at airport security.

If you start breaking them then either the drill drive with a loose clutch or a lower power/voltage impact.

I like any holiday; not for family gatherings, gifts, etc.... but for tool coupons! Looking to get a new M12 inspection camera this weekend as mine is one of the early versions 2310. The 2317 would be nice but too damn exp, gonna get a 2315/6.

Hopefully we can see some good deals this weekend, I missed out on the 20% off eBay deal this past weekend, maybe the same or better will come around this week...

So, I was wandering around HD while I was waiting for my son to get out of school. They had the 3000 lumen Rocket light for $399. I paid $200 a week-ish ago on clearance for this light...

Anyone know what is up with this?

No-receipt returns get the lowest selling price in the last year, or something like that.

This is one way to lower the no-receipt-return value.

For those that know about the Rocket Tower

When did Milwaukee start releasing them with the storage bag included.
I got the bare tool when it 1st came out - no bag.

Looks like bare tool and kits come with storage bag

Clever idea! Just don't take it through any security checks. I've powered various 12v work lights, fans, and other stuff with my M12 batteries. I bought a pack of the connectors w/ 6" leads on Amazon for cheap.

I did further d1gging after my post. Looks like it only came with kits

according to the parts list, it appears to only have been available with the 2135-21HD package (which i assume is exclusive to home depot EDIT: nope, acme tools has the HD part number also.). part is 48-55-2135.

isn't on ebay. were they not obnoxiously expensive, i would buy one for the 2135 and one for the 2130, since i imagine it would fit without issue, and protecting those lens covers, which face up when in storage configuration, would be valuable to me . . . .

Yup the bag is almost $100, only know that you can order it seperately through Milwaukee.

ANY predictions for NPS 2018 !

Aside from them showing the small stuff they released recently like the inflator, low voltage tools, etc. Most of my goods is M18...

The only M12 is Propex, Sticklight and 3/8 Impact

Their punchdown was interesting - light on punchdown and the extended blade. When I think of punchdown though.....I think of Klein LV scissor and Fluke(ahem Harris) for punchdowns with the Ultrasharp blade

Man I hope they release an M18 router. It'd be the perfect compliment to the M18 sander.

Personally hoping to see milwaukee release a palm router. Anyone look at the Makita one side by side with Ryobi and Ridgid? The Makita is brushless, and REALLY nice for only a few more $$. I'm thinking it may be time to look for a Makita to m18 battery converter..

Speaking of batteries - anyone notice all the cordless OPE stuff at HF is brushless and 40v? Anyone notice the 40v packs are the same size as normal packs? Reward to the first person to buy the Lynx battery and try to fit it in a MINUTE case. Just think - you could own the first 40v Milwaukee tool :)

I finally got to see the Milwaukee Red Stick levels in person.

While they seem to be well made, the magnets aren't nearly as good as whatever Stabila uses on their levels.

I have an Empire blue 24" level, and I would compare the Milwaukee to that, but at around 3x the price.

SNIP... I'm thinking it may be time to look for a Makita to m18 battery converter..

I asked some adapter dude on ebay if he could /would make those. He replied that he thinks he has the parts and capability. I asked him to do so and he kind of ho-hummed.

Maybe I'll bug him again.

Having adapters really opens up a lot of doors especially with all the tools on Craigslist around here. Not to mention all the big names make really cool tools at the other ones don't
