The real question is do I buy the stubbys and keep my old ones for home or sell them to fund buying even more tools. Even though I already have like 7 impacts not counting impact driver and I'll probably buy all 3 of these I wont sell. I'm a hoarder of red

If you can afford to collect them go for it :lol_hitti

I have quite a few also and I am finding some I rarely use anymore mostly the early brushed M12 impact wrench and the M18 2speed brushed impact driver and the older M12 brushed hammer drill :dunno:

The Gen 1 Fuel impact driver and the M12 Fuel drill and 3/8 impact wrench are always my first choices it seems. And the mid torque is now my fav though I wont ever be without a high torque version.

And these new M12 Fuel wrenches will probably render the M18 compact impacts obsolete for me

^^ M12 impact wrench with 250 ft lb will render my M18 3/8 impact wrench with 200 ft lb useless

I say sell the old as it is being replaced by better and starting with a fresh warranty

This is very true. I may keep the m18 just so I have the option of a 3/8" with my plethora of 18v bats. I really hope they're working on a 3/8" high torque in M18 soon

I've been looking all over and finally found a video but I guess this isn't coming out until the end of the year and they haven't put out the final number for torque yet. They said they will soon, but it's A LOT
Wonder what the specs and price will be on thisView attachment 763792

I dont NEED it, but sometimes dragging out the 1" and then the 1/2" air lines can be a nuisance at work for one tire

Looks like some more mechanics tools. They're releasing complete socket sets in trays with deeps and shallows, a ratchet, and extensions. Apparently the ratchets are 90 tooth. I would love to give them a try but I can only imagine how much they're gonna be asking for them

The battery hanging so far off the back seems awkward. Just me?

can i point one thing out - look at the new chainsaw with the 12.0 in it.. the new 12.0 battery does NOT take up all the space available where the battery is inserted... how much you wanna bet youll see a 15.0 battery in the future... there is ALOT of extra room in there.

theyre saying up to 25 cuts on a utility pole with that saw... a full face cord of firewood on trees.

Regarding the chain saw... some guy on Twitter posted: "The battery-powered saw produces zero emissions, and may be used indoors. "

Indoor chain saw. Oh yeah.

.

I've had to use a chainsaw indoors on a number of occasions opening up floors or shiplap ceilings to gain access to fire for extinguishment. The battery power would work great in a smoky environment.

Yep I'm gonna be down for the following as soon as they drop
-9" grinder
-3" cut off tool
-3/8" stubby impact[will add the 1/4 eventually]
-Two 12.0 batts at least, maybe a 6.0 for kicks

Eventually I'll get that new vac and jigsaw as well.

I really hope they're gonna be coming with some bigger M12 batteries soon

Gonna be a lot of old models on clearance this year.

They really have been busy, almost too many tools.

Guess I cant quit the tool business cause I need it to fund all these future purchases.

I wonder about the overall usefulness of M12 Rocket Light as opposed to an M18 :headscrat

Though I do like my original M12 Rover a lot. Run time is really decent and so is the light output

Newer Fuel tools were said to run better on a 9.0, will those same tools use full power of 12.0? Or will only the newly released models? Will the 2767 high torque be anymore powerful on a 12 vs 9.

Also ponder this with so much announced.... What are the 5+ secret things that will be surprises over the next 12 months.
