Despite being on team yellow for larger tools (not a brand loyalty thing. That's what I was finding on sale when I was buying power tools), my curiosity finally got the better of me and I got myself some M12 tools.
It started with the brushed kit ToolNut had on sale a few weeks back. I figured for $200 for the 4 piece kit + multitool, it would be a nice set for keeping in the house for small stuff so I don't need to go out to the shop for my bigger cordless stuff.
Being impressed by how small the regular M12 tools were, I got real curious about the Fuel versions. The specs looked ecent and the ebay 20% sale got me to bite on the Fuel drill, impact driver, and hackzall. I'm really surprised with how small the drill and impact driver are. I thought these would be nice on the ranch for times when I need to go do something in the corrals and would prefer something I can shove into a coverall or coat pocket vs. hauling a bag and trying to find a clean place to set it.
I had a question regarding the Gen2 M12 Fuel drill. I know it's not as powerful as an 18v drill, but would it still be up to handling the wood bits in this set?

I rarely need large wood bits other than drilling out wood posts or railroad ties for gate hinges. It would be handy if the Gen2 M12 Fuel drill could handle it, but if not, I can always use my bigger cordless drills.
Anyway, here's a picture of what I have so far for M12 stuff. Hopefully it does well since I'm interested in the stubby impacts and would like to add them to what I have.
