Thank you. I guess HD has a mistake in there listings. This one is $99 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-Batteries-Charger-Tool-Bag-2401-22/100615066 and lists the screwdriver as 2401-22

This one is also $99 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...1-5Ah-Batteries-Bit-Set-Bag-2482-22/207162702 and lists the screwdriver as 2401-20

The screwdriver and work light kit would be the better buy. The screwdriver seemed identical to me.

They are the same, but no mistake. The tool is always end in -20, and is usually listed in the details as such. Milwaukee usually only sells bare tools, or kits with batteries, not with accessories. Then when HD has a special package, like the one including the extra bits, the model changes, so you won't see 2401 in the package model (well sometimes, but no guarantee). If you look at the model # under the product title, both end in -22, but only one says 2401. If you look in the details, both say "includes 2401-20," which is what you will see on the serial sticker on the tool.

-20 - bare tool
-21 - one battery
-22 - two batteries
sometimes there will be suffixes such as XC or CP for what style battery is included, if there are multiple kit options.

Thanks for the info. That helps a lot.
I just ordered the kit with the screwdriver, light, bits, bag and batteries using the google express discount. I am getting it for $87 shipped.

HD.com has listing for the M12 Fuel Gen2 hex impact boot, but not orderable right now. Nice to know the M12 Fuel impacts will have boots, maybe I should upgrade my Fuel Gen1s.

Btw, am I the only one that got the M18 2663 impact for $35 from international during 4th July pricing mistake? I wasn't greedy only ordered 3, didn't believe I would get them but they showed up yesterday.

I got the gen 2 blower, compared it to my gen 1.

Its maybe 10% more powerful, max, its not that noticeable.
The body is much smaller, lighter, and more balanced with a 9.0 on it.
It does sound a ton more powerful, much louder, but sound means chit.
Will have to see if run time is any different.

Without great deal I got, woulda prolly waited for gen 3 or backpack M18 lol.

Any plans for Big Red to get into the Rotary Laser game

I was looking for a rotary recently. Spectra, PLS, Leica, etc. What was slightly intriguing was the Dewalt ---- just due to the rechargable battery (green leds seems to drain batts faster)

Yes. Perhaps you should have shared in the hot deals with everyone. I know I would have picked one up. I do understand not wanting to draw to much attention if there is the possibility of not honoring because of too many orders. I would have ordered, then posted the deal an hour or so later. Great deal though

Yeah the TGTBT deals I don't post, honestly didn't think they would honor it, chit I wanted to order 10, but I am not greedy and don't push my luck. Gave all 3 of them to buddies at $100 each already.

My TGTBT deals I don't post till mine ships and by then the deal is gone. Like my deal on gen 2 blower, got 2897 kit for $314 with Free gen 2 blower from another retailer, by end of day they fixed the mistake but still honored.

I figure most these places know me as I order soooooo much, as long as I don't abuse their mistakes they let me get them.

Anyone know where I can find more info on the 2306-22 Universal Hammervac? We have a Hilti TE-15 here at work and I need to get a silica vac for it. The Milwaukee looks like a really nice unit, probably a lot less $$$ than anything Hilti would offer.
But the Hilti is kind of wide. I need to make damned sure it will fit before ordering, and of course no one around here stocks them and I cannot find info on Milwaukee's website if they have a cross reference chart that shows all it fits.

Lol.... One buddy, two good customers/friends. All psyched for it at $100, had to turn away others, they were gone in 4hrs. None of them would of believed I got it for $35 haha

hah, not greedy but you made $65 x 3 on your buddies instead of selling for $50 or so. [emoji848][emoji23][emoji106]

M18 chainsaw was delivered today, seems solidly built, decent size, lighter than my gas saw. The 12.0ah battery is on the charger now.

On another note, I just got off the phone with Milwaukee about the free battery housing upgrade for my 2130-20 light, to fit the 12.0ah battery. The initial person I spoke to knew nothing about it, they transferred me over to tech support and they knew exactly what I wanted. In less than 5 minutes they had the order put it. It ships out Monday and should have it by the end of next week.

Are those Husky magnet pads on your board, but painted Milwaukee red? I have the same ones on mine, as well as a couple of the can holders (small round shelf w/ velcro strap).

Looks like that DE is running off a M12 the way you took the pic. I also see you got your impact wrench condom. Got to use protection :lol_hitti

Got the new drill in! I'm psyched, been dying to get ahold of it. It looks like the chuck is vastly improved, much less runout than my gen 2 or my M12 Fuel drill. Its incredible that they can fit the same amount of power in such a small package. The handle seems improved as well, a much more secure grip where the handle attaches to the drill.

I have a project I've been putting off just so I could fully test this thing out, I'm gonna put it to the test tomorrow drilling some 29/64" holes in 5/8: plate steel. Will report on how the chuck holds up. I really hope they figured it out, as the previous model would've been the best cordless drill on the market if not for the sub par chuck. 933c634f103e9b811323e2bfe48f8fcc.jpg65c18e41bc851b76744044949bf92e7a.jpg00f246a202ec2009ae36048c018c1a26.jpg

Nice! Sold in 4 hrs lol.
Yeah, $100 is good VS the new ones at $160+.
450 ft lbs is stout & I've used it on bolts of truck beds no problem.

Please give some input when you use the chainsaw some.

I purchased a new in sealed box M18 fuel grinder off ebay a couple weeks back. I put a 2.0 then 5.0 battery on and fired it up. With both batteries the speed seems inconsistent, looks fast enough to be grinding, but not a stable RPM like my corded grinders. I also noticed small sparks coming out of the motor vent behind the grinding head. Is there something wrong, or does it just need some break in?

A brushless motor shouldn't spark. Perhaps insulation has failed or a wire is loose.

My new favorite Milwaukee tool. I tried 3 new battery powered blowers and this one "blew" the other ones out of the water.

That was my thought too. I cut the factory tape on the box, so I know the unit was new. Rather than send it in for warranty I’m going to go buy another at Home Depot and return this ebay one to depot. This may sound immoral or whatever, but after working in Home Depot in and after college I have no love for them.

Just put together a Milwaukee Model # 48-22-8520 Tool Chest. Overall very pleased with the chest. Just something to be aware of is the threaded holes for the casters might need to be chased with a tap to clean out overspray. The tap I needed was a M8 1.25.

Have not needed to buy a laser level in awhile...have 2 PLS and a Outdoor Spectra. Just spent some time looking at the market. Boy, Dewalt, Bosch and Makita are in the Laser game these days...

What's up with Big Red. Surely, this goes hand in hand with most of the trades they cater to. Are they afraid it might be like their nailer lineup, which seems to be quite no on the mark

If anyone is looking for a slightly wider cutting swath on their string trimmer, you can flip the string cutter underneath the protection guard. It is fastened with 2 torx screws, and can be flipped to give another ~1" on the radius, so 2" extra wide. You can do this on a lot of string trimmers, and I just got around to doing this on my M18.

I might try it once I run out of stock string and re-spool it with 0.095. I wish the guard was a bit wider, I get hit with all kinds of stuff when I'm trimming.

The mid torque definatley will remove lug nut. Used it on a tire rotate of an f550. So far the only thing I could not get off with it is cab mount bolts. Had to go with my big dog air impact. I am loving it!!!

Awesome! Can you drive a few screws with the clutch on and report back? Particularly smaller screws (#6 if you have any) in soft wood like pine? My biggest gripe with the 2703 is that the clutch doesn't slip with small fasteners. If this has a lighter more delicate clutch then I'm all in haha

I do a lot of metal work and the 2703 is a beast with drilling. I'm sure the 2803 will be at least as good

I purchased an additional grinder at Home Depot yesterday and did some testing today. The original one has stopped sparking and spins at a much higher RPM than the replacement one with the same 5” wheel mounted. There is significantly more gear noise from the replacement one and the wheel stops faster. I wonder if these tools just require significant break in. For now I’m going to keep my original and if it breaks in the future I’ll send it in.

I ran my 0886 fan yesterday for 6.5 hours on medium. Got home, turned it off (left on for dogs during power outage), and the 9.0 still claimed to have 3 of 4 bars. Crazy. I'm guessing it had to be near the bottom of 3 bars (ie close to dropping to 2), but still.....

Hows strong is the air coming from the fan?
