Are there any advantages on the 1/2" M12 stubby vs. 3/8" version in the wrench itself?

Looks the same spec wise and I have more 3/8" sockets so planning on going with that version instead

Can't wait for those to come out!

I have more 1/2" impact sockets... and I already have a 20v Dewalt 3/8" impact...

But far as I know from all the reviews... 3/8 is the same as 1/2"... besides the size of the tip.

There is a difference between the 1/4" and the others tho… I believe it is 20-25% weaker. Somebody correct me if I got that wrong.

I honestly NEVER viewed the 3" Cut Off saw before seeing it for pre-order... quickly looked into it... and snagged one. You get 3 blades... even with the bare tool. Metal, Abrasive & Diamond... you also get the guide with the bare tool.

The 1/4" is a lot more than 20% weaker, its 100ft/lb vs 250ft/lb on the other 2. Its still very powerful for a 1/4" though

so, where did you find it?

I was pre-ordering the Stubby... it was in my cart at ToolNut … ToolNut popped an advertisement for the Cut Off tool... I was like hmmm Then went to YouTube and viewed the original presentation of the cut off there. Realized I watched some of that video already but it didn't do the tool justice compared to what ToolNut said about it... SO I added it to my order. AFTER I clarified what was included with the cut off tool. 3 blades and base with dust extraction connection...

Looking to feed my red addiction next week. Definitely going with the 3/8 fuel ratchet but looking at the 2861 mid torque as well. Don’t know f it would be worth it to me or not. I have the 2754 3/8 gun and the big dog 2767 1/2 gun. Would be nice to have something smaller for tire rotations and the like. Opinions?

Looks like I need some new M12 tools to balance out the M18 purchases so far this year. Looking at the M12 cutoff tool, 1/2" stubby impact, and M12 Rocket light. Haven't seen the Rocket light available anywhere for pre-order yet.

Yep, some of the buy 1 get something extra deals are good.
Ebay usually has the 5ah for $50-55. Also 10-15% off alot. Acmetools has 15-20% sometimes. That's good for big stuff.

For the M12 hex impact stubby? Yes there is one, no one is selling it yet, it's on HDs site. Assume all the new stubby M12 new Fuels will have boots.

Any idea if there is going to be a boot for the M12 stubby impact? I haven't really found anything googling

I'm looking for a GenII M18 blower - anyone know of any deals? I could use a battery but it doesn't have to include one.

Great little unit, that works quieter than I expected. Sort of wish it was a high & low volume pump, but obviously would increase the size, but Ryobi does make one. Which reminds me, I should order another couple Milwaukee -> Ryobi adapters on eBay tonight. I end up selling them to people on the spot when they see it.

Any idea if that adapter works with the ryobi 18v mowers? Would love if milwaukee made one that would utilize my slew of batteries, but here we are...

I can guarantee the plastic battery cover won't shut with any adapted battery in there, I read that it won't close even with Ryobi's own 6ah batteries in it. Not sure if they'd actually fit enough to connect or not, I haven't seen one of the mowers in person. I'd like to see the run time with it running two M18 9ah or 12ah batteries.

I haven't seen a part number yet, but since they've released boots recently for some of their impact drivers, I'm sure they'll release boots for the M12 stubby.

I can't wait to get my hands on one. I've spent my last 5-6 days off doing various repairs on all our vehicles, and there were some spots where they'd really come in handy.

Call Milwaukee and order it directly. I posted the part numbers in an earlier post

Anyone know around when the 2522-20 m12 cut off tool will be available? I do hvac work and a cordless cuttoff tool would be nice for removing stubborn bearings on fan shafts. Would the m12 do the job or should I just go with an m18 grinder with cutoff wheel?

Check it out. Mid torque 3/8 impact. Love this thing. Former snap on junkie has turned to the dark side

So the Milwaukee corded stuff is good also. I just picked up the small angle grinder to replace an ancient Black & Decker screamer. The boot on the old B&D has turned to goo and blacks my hand when I use it. Looking forward to cutting lots of steel with this little guy.

Figured the deal with the sawzall + 5.0 battery was pretty fair, going to grab the grinder next, my local home depot stocks them and was offering the deal so i grabbed it when inside getting other stuff. Battery rings up as 129.99 and then discounts as - 129.99, can I return the battery and get the tool for 40 dollars?

Also, my first impressions are not that great. I use a rigid sawzall (gen5x) everyday at work, and its great, does everything we ask of it so that's my comparison here, but why would Milwaukee make the blade release/lock mechanism out of plastic? The thing twists rather hard and it seems like an obvious point of failure...no? No trigger time with it, so maybe I'm just complaining :lol_hitti
