Ordered the 2554-20 and three torx bits from Acme during the recent sale. Received a shipping email last week with a delivery date for today. Came home to a box with just the three bits😭 The wait continues🙄

A video review was just posted of the 3/8 stubby. Not sure how accurate that torque wrench he used is, but that impact looks like a little beast.

I like this guys channel, but everytime I saw him start the lug nut with the tool and not by hand, it makes me a little sad inside.

Has anyone tried out or own the V jaw pliers. Looking to possibly pick them up this weekend, but the reviews are kind of mixed. Some complain about the adjustment button sticking out too far. It’s either these or some Knipex Cobras

Hey Guys is this a good price or can I do better somewhere else?

Oh how I wish that wasn't a scam.

Edit: What the heck I was trying to post a pic of the site and it won't let me. Did they change something. I have done it before.

Edit 2: I can do it in taptalk but not the dedicated GJ app or the browser version.

That seems way to good to be true, and is most likely a scam. After a quick google search, it seems like its a brand new site (like 11 days old). Also, reading some the pages on there (like FAQ and shipping), the words that they used do not make sense. They are using english language words, but not how an American would. And not how any British or Canadian people I know would.

As much as I want that set for less then $100 new, I would not trust it.

I've got them and enjoy them but the Knipex lovers here will tell you they're junk.

Sweet!! Let us know how you like it. Mine hasn't shipped from ACME yet.

Friction ring works well with my Nano impact sockets... not too tight... (that requires a tool to remove it)… swinging arm motion... socket stayed on (21mm)

I haven't tried any deep impacts yet... it spun one lug nut off my Outback with out even crying about it. My Dewalt 20V 3/8" impact did NOTHING but bang.

very pleased... need to fool with the different settings...

it's not loud like my 1/4" NON-fuel ratchet.

Nice. I've got the stubby on my short list. I've got mostly 1/2" impact sockets, exact some cheap swivel sockets which are 3/8"...

Why did you choose 3/8"?

I don’t have the new stubby, but I would choose 3/8” for it because the sockets are a little smaller and more appropriate for it’s torque rating.

Got mine from ToolNut.... I placed an order for the 1/2" stubby and the mini cut off saw... both bare tools... I got the cut off last week...

I'd love a brief review of that cut off tool. I held one and it's so small it's hard to believe it has the power to be useful.

I'm putting an order for the 3/8 tomorrow cause with my specific vehicles the largest nuts are 32mm axles nuts which I have a 1/2 already and the 3/8 sockets are generally more compact

I'm guessing the 3/8 and 1/2 use the same motor having the same output ratings with a different anvil

Where is the cheapest place to get m12 4.0 or 6.0 batteries? Thankz.

eBay, craigslist, offerup, LetGo. nothing from retailer will be great, unless it is included in a bundle, but even then it is often still more than the other places I listed.

Make sure the picture looks like a legit Milwaukee battery, the have sold more than 1, and the word 'replacement' isn't used to describe it. You are covered by eBay if it isn't what is in the picture.

I wouldn't pay more than $40 for a 4.0, and no more than $50/55 for a 6.0. But that is me, and I'm almost Amish (super Dutch that is)

Where are you guys ordering these stubby's that they are already coming in?

Acme, Toolnut, looks like HD as well

The date that Milwaukee gives for release ends up usually being a couple weeks after when the items ends up shipping. As it is the first production of it, who knows if an issue may arise that necessitates a delay, but still could ship before the estimated date.

If you pre-ordered, you will be getting yours first obviously, and they have been selling those for a couple weeks now.

ebay.

pay attention, when the title says "For milwaukee NNNN" it is not milwaukee. if it doesnt clearly say milwaukee on it, it isn't milwaukee.

look for people with large feedback and high percentages. often people selling the real thing are very vocal about it being "genuine" and explaining where it came from if it is not in retail packaging.

that said, while i would never buy off brand M18 batteries, since there are electronics in them, folks here have bought off brand M12 batteries and been very happy with them. i dont remember the brand, since i am swimming in 1.5 and 2.0 M12 batteries, and they and the few 4.0's i have are adequate for what i need.

I have some of the M12 powerextra batteries from Amazon, they seemed highly recommended when they showed up for around $17 for 2 2500mah on prime day. Would I use them in an impact? Maybe. Are they perfect for the flashlights? Absolutely. Considering the 2 pack of 5000 mAh if they drop below $40.

The bottoms of my m12 batteries at work occasionally get used as a hammer without discrimition between the genuine and power extra packs.. one less tool to climb up the ladder with sometimes, and of course not for anything too severe.

Toolnut is showing them instock so I just ordered a 3/8s stubby bare tool.

I’ve had my fuel ratchet since December and I’ve been very hard on it having the entire head covered in oil many times and I do not clean it ever just wipe it off. So far no issues so I have high expectations for the stubby.

Does Milwaukee make a pack out box or any type of storage container for their cordless 10" cordless compound miter saw? I'd really like to get one, but storing it is a concern.

It seems the M12 fuel impact driver is on backorder. I ordered from HD and have gotten charged and refunded 3 times so far due to some sort of internal systems issue.

Just a heads up it might be a few days to be back in stock most places
