I just bought the swag v4 bandsaw table. Now I need to find a score on a 6232-20 corded band saw. I'm stoked to use it.
submitted for your consideration. click on the image to be taken to the homedepot.com page.
the only difference being, of course, the addition of the vac "kit" to the first listing, for only 618$ more.
I assume that this is the first hint of a "buy this get that free" deal, possibly featuring other addons. I admit that I find it amusing that they listed the vac, which I dont think will fit inside even that large packout box. even if it will, it certainly won't with all those other tools . . . . . .
anyway, I thought some of you might appreciate this . . . . .
So I'm curious - do the m18 water pumps have an auto on/off feature? Like - can you place the input hose Into a water source, and have a say a garden hose nozzle on the output side? The pump wont shut on and off on it's own while you open and close the nozzle will it? Seems like a good upgrade for the next model..![]()

If its red - somebody will want it.. thats nice of you to offer.

my son has gotten heavy into Milwaukee tools lately. They are nice though somewhat spendy.
M9 is extremely rare and only used in high end pens (ie writing pens) from what little I've found.
The other end of that is M6 and that's what you wanna focus on. See post 26 here:

I took it to the shop this morning, they boyz just looked at it and said "yeah, yeah" to the 250 ft lbs. Then when they heard it banging on a socket on a tight wheel bolt, their eyes widened...
It's amazing just how much this can do. It's definitely my go to socket turner from here on.
I'll update this, which is talking about my 2554 3/8 impact. After seeing it work, my buddy wanted one. So I grabbed him one the next week. Now all 3 of them in the shop are using it every wheel job. Occasionally they come across one where the nuts are too rusty and it isn't strong enough, and the air tools come out. But with its size and weight, they always grab this first. The 4.0 AH battery lasts them over 3 days. And of course it's used for more than just wheels.
So far it sounds the same as new, I'll report back if they have any trouble with it.
Really? I seem to run into more lugnuts that is can't remove vs ones it can. I still like it and it has it's place, but it's not quite as useful as I hoped.
I have the 1/2" version and it hammered away before it broke loose the lugs on my F150 (no rust, in like new shape). I was expecting more.
I'd like to see an M12 or USB powered wire crimper...
Something like this with interchangeable dies...

If you have to crimp 1-2 terminals, no big deal, but when you have to crimp a few hundred, it gets old in a hurry. Especially in tight spaces where you don't have a lot of room to open/close a large handle while holding a wire in a connector/terminal.
Ive seen so many guys working in manhattan with the backpack.
Although i admit I’d feel a bit stupid trying to sneak a pic of a guy and his backpack.
Watching the football game and the guy was using an m12 tool to fix the helmet.
I needed a solution to be concrete dust compliant when rotary hammer drilling holes in concrete. The kicker for me was to be able to do it cordless – as I don’t have power most of the places I use my rotary impact – that’s why I got the M-18 cordless SDS-Max drill. It does a really good job drilling ¾” holes 8” deep in 4,000psi concrete. It does a good job drilling 1” holes in the same 4,000psi concrete – but it is definitely slower. So I needed a cordless vacuum for collecting concrete drilling dust. I am a huge fan of the Dust Deputy system because it keeps the filters cleaner for so much longer. So I decided to make a Milwaukee / Dust deputy hybrid. Rather than use a hose to connect the 2 gal Milwuakee wet/dry vac to the dust deputy, I wanted to attach it directly. I took some measurements, then made a plan. It looked like it could work, so I gave it a shot. It does a better job of dust collection than I thought it would. The Milwaukee drill dust collector works well with this vac system. Only a little of the drilling dust makes it into the vacuum’s filter, most drops into the 5 gallon bucket – just like it is supposed to. I have tried 9.0 amp and 12.0 amp batteries in the vacuum, and this is one tool that I think runs better / stronger with the 12.0 battery. The vacuum at the drill adapter is strong enough to hold onto a vertical rough stucco wall.
I am pulling out some various tools for a short trip I'm taking, and pulled out the USB battery charger. I'm realizing Milwaukee shout have added a USB output as well. Would have made it much more useful, as you can still charge any of the USB lights on their own.
For spotting in the wild, I'd be more interested in catching a glimpse of someone testing unreleased tools. I'm sure the person using it can't say much, but a photo would make me more than happy.
Doesnt Milwaukee make a vac attachment that goes right on the drill?
Or you can go with this. Thats a lot of stuff to be dragging around, but nice work.
Milwaukee’s whole line -
we should have a “milwaukee spotted in the wild” picture thread.. Lol.

We tried that setup and it lasted less than a week before the plastic tore, same with the replacements. They really need to use a much higher quality plastic on that
Looking for the M18 fan. I'm in the south, and sweat easily. Finally decided I'm going to get one. A quick search shows the best price (that I've seen) is around $79. Does anyone know of a better deal? Thanks!
Best price on top of list will probably be a percentage off sale from certain online suppliers offered around most major holidays.

$79 everywhere right now but I'm sure there will be another $59 sale before summer. Seems like there is each year.
recently purchased the m12 rover floodlight. i do automotive repairs and im a bit frustrated because the magnets dont seem to hold the light from 45-90 degrees (side of a toolbox, on a hood). i tried switching to a smaller 1.5 amp battery to see if maybe it was the disproportionate weight but to no avail. i just want to know if this is a defect (should the magnets hold the light up when at 90 degrees) or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks for the info on the M18 fan. Maybe I'll wait just a bit and see if it goes on sale like it has in the past. If not, I'll just order it. I'm thinking it will work out great for my needs.
