When the hell are the packout wall mounts and flat dolly going to come out.

Was at a buddies the other day, he has the middle big packout box as his battery box, must be 30 batteries in it. Gave me the idea they should come out with removable battery holders, which will organize & store batteries. Think like something along the lines of a 6 pack bottle cardboard holder, which you can put 2 side by side and 2 deep in that big box.

the insert market is large and varied. if they started selling inserts for various things alone, rather than as part of a kit with tools, they would, I think, be amazed at what they would sell.

Lol, For the record - i will take COMPLETE credit (at least locally) for starting the trend of Verizon guys wanting and asking for Milwaukee stuff.. i was bribing a Vendor to smuggle that **** in back when they had the first fuel 7/16 hex impact released - and EVERYBODY that saw me using it, wanted one.. The ONLY cordless, 7/16 impact (all VZ stuff was ONLY corded 5/8 hex at the time) in about half a dozen locations at least. Then the gen1 rocket light, gen 1 fuel hammer drill and impact driver, search light after it was just released, demolition gloves.. guys i know from another location started asking the same vendor for the same stuff, guys in ANOTHER garage wanted the rocket light and like 5 of them were brought in. About a year after i got the first fuel impact, suddenly a manager i know had a Milwaukee rep brought in to do a demo on all their stuff.. in a place where everything cordless was Yellow - its now the RED sea.. :) . I should be a damn Milwaukee rep.. this is 2 different companies now buying their **** cause of me. Your rep went to Hopelawn NJ to meet a manager named Tomas if your listening Milwaukee. Fast forward a couple years and i come back to Milwaukee Flyers with Verizon’s name on it, packout kits everywhere, cordless string trimmers, a cordless chainsaw, shockwave bits all over the place..

Ok - I’m done patting myself on the back. Lol. And its entirely possible there were bigger things happening upstream i have no knowledge of - but i can promise you there was little birdie that started the workers ASKING for it around here. Can i get a free shirt at least Milwaukee?? I come back to three guys with heated hoodies after people made fun of me for the glowing buttons on my heated jacket years ago - and now asking, “what hoodie is that one?” - (cause they have no idea the 3 in 1 hoodie is different). Hehe..

Current manager is not using the vendor i was to “work around” certain procurement problems.. i will have to work on that once i settle back in..

Definitely a few holes in the Milwaukee line up especially the M12, which I would say is more DIY oriented.

Snap-On has a nice small angle grinder CTPP761A (3,500/15,000) (they call it a polish and prep tool). I guess the M12 2438 (2,800/8300 RPM) is close, but it is not a Fuel. :mad: The Snap-On has a 5/16"–24 UNF spindle thread and the Milwaukee (I believe) is a Roloc. I would rather see a 1/4 collet.

I think they make something similar but smaller to remover drive hooks / “J” hooks too.

From what i hear they need to open up the machining a little more cause the fit is too tight.. I haven’t used it yet, probably wont for a while. I cant do any “work” until Administration issues are sorted out - and I’m hearing i have to go back to “line school” in VIRGINIA.. lmao.

My new boss is having truck issues. Older models are being retired from serious rust problems. Others are down for maintenance and after about a 5 minute rant that he is down 6 (i think?) vehicles, he got a call that another one was on fire two blocks away from the shop.. guy was driving back at the end of the day, and a car pulled next to him and asked if he knew the back of the truck was in flames. Lol. Gotta luv it.

Well first pic ive seen of this.. damn i love it.. take a look at your future upgraded mid torque impacts.. for reference - the current half inch mid torque is rated about the same as the 7/16 utility version of the 1/2” high torque.. i kinda figured a new smaller 7/16 model would be coming.

Well sent the 2653 out for warranty...continues to shut right down in forward when depressing the trigger switch and tested it by holding a 1/4 shank half inch drive adapter and socket with just your hand.

3 tools out in just over 8 months time :eyecrazy:

We have been using enerpac pumps powered by m28 batteries for quite a while. These will be nice with the 12amp batts.

I wish they would come out with a big 1” impact with 2500 ft pounds or better. Power it with two batteries.

No.. the current models. This is the upgraded. The old is 1/2” high torque variant. This looks to be mid torque sized, with a bump from 550 to 750 ftlbs.. (I’m betting in reverse, i think 750 forward would break smaller bolts)

Check out the power inverter.. i guess the gave up on the dual voltage charger.. ive had a few of those break on me, so i guess Milwaukee is done with those. I dunno why they didnt include high output batteries.. this impact also has a longer handle, probably to compensate for the power guys that need to wear rubber gloves.

I picked up my '19 JLUR today but for some reason I just can't stand the Rubi stickers on the JL's

It seemed a noble task for the M18 heat gun (a hair dryer would work just as well for this honestly)
