No, but it always works in store to return part of the bundle. First, if you want the batteries as cheap as possible, you don't buy the inflator, get the stapler. That will make each item $50. Cost of the inflator is $43.94
Oooh, didn't realize the stapler was part of the promo. Is there a full list of the promo somewhere?
I'll pick up the stapler for sure

Have a question on the job site M18 Fan, will be buying one this weekend.

I'll be taking it camping and will have it in the tent to help stay cool overnight.

Does the 12.0 battery fit in the fan? All the numbers I see say 9.0 and smaller for fan runtime.

Thanks,

John

I dont know about the 12 & fan, but like all the things they upgraded to fit the 12, it all depends on what version people have. So answers may vary. But I dont know if all the old stock of all the V1 items which dont fit the 12 are gone, there are still radius lights being shipped which dont fit the 12 without Milwaukee upgrading them.

Edit, fits in my fan but the base of the fan doesn't touch the surface, the 12 is too high.

No prob, luckily WFH today for appliance delivery. Interested to know if the one for sale in the store right now still has a base too short like mine.

Thanks dacan23!

I was going through my Packout cases today and I sort of wish the plastic molded bottoms in the power tool hard cases could just be transferred over to be custom molds for packout. Seems like a missed opportunity.

And I would really, really like a three beam laser level that used M12 batteries.

Shockingly this showed up yesterday.

My quik-lok extension for the pole saw on backorder was pushed to mid-August. Acme says due to production and distribution delays.

I thought they were shipping back when first released, has anyone gotten one?

Just broke down and got a three box Packout set from Acme.

It just arrived, and, well it smells disgusting. Off gassing maybe? Anyone else notice anything similar?

Do any of you guys have the little Rover 300 lumen magnetic led flood light ? I saw one i HD tonight for $ 29.97 and it seemed to work well. It takes 2 aa batteries. Thought I would pick one up for working on the RV.

They were just $19.97 lat week. Double check to see if an old sticker isn't still up, and usually they will honor it. Great light thought for the money. I have the USB battery version, but like having a smaller light as well.

It will go away after a while. It’s no different then storing things in plastic totes.

I picked up the M12 starter kit with the free Multitool last night. Been waiting for a deal on the multi-tool for a while and I had $100 in gift cards that expired this week, so it was a no brainer.

So first 2 caveats:
1) I just can't keep up with the thread (or the forum) so apologies if this has been previously posted
2) as much as I don't want to promote Dumb & Dumber at TIA the overall content is what's relevant here

Video about the Milwaukee "Matrix Carbide" bits exploding:

I've never been impressed with any of Milwaukee's impact driver expendable offerings, but as a machinist I'm not all shocked to hear that carbide is exploding. We all know it's brittle and doesn't like "interrupted cuts" as we say

Now granted I have no idea what GRADE or COMPOSITE of carbide they're using here, but I can tell you exactly what happened: Chinese quality fade.

Carbide can be fine tuned for hardness or toughness, but somebody somewhere decided that carbide is carbide, and/or spilled his Coke in the mixture, and they ran off a massive amount of inferior product.

OMG I solved the case in 3 seconds flat

Oh and I did only watch the video skipping ahead about a minute each and then watching 10 seconds before skipping another minute, and on and on

9 1/2 minutes of unprofessional, slovenly guys clearly looking like they don't care and don't want to be there standing behind a bench just running their mouths about the same topic....for 9 1/2 minutes. Oi vey

I run the fan all day everyday for my dogs on the 12.0, just sits a tiny bit lopsided. Runtime on medium is ridiculous... guessing 18 hours

Good to know! Gonna be using it in our camper while we sleep to help with air flow, and I plan on sleeping in a little so the good run time is awesome.

For people that have the gen 2 m18 string trimmer, does the power head run smoothly for you or is there some vibration? Mine almost seems like something is out of balance in the motor and isn’t rotating perfectly. It also has a crunch like sound when you let off the power and let it run to a stop. Anyone else’s run like that or did I get a dud that needs to be replaced?

To me that neck light looks real stupid, I got headlamps for that purpose, 2 Fenix HL50 and a Fenix HL55

Yeah I've got a cheap headlamp, I broke a couple expensive ones so just sticking with cheap stuff here on out. I just dont think the neck light would be really helpful.

Same here, been meaning to post about the sound/vibration. It seems like its not all tight in there and crunchy.

while a headlamp is great, I can remember a few situations while standing under a car where one of those lamps would have been great.

in general, I have found that light is sometimes a hard thing to get aimed exactly where you want it. . . . .

Impulse purchase @ HD...It was on sale $19.95
Milwaukee 2108 Rover 300 lumen magnetic flood light
Takes 2×AA batteries.

Edit: initial impressions; magnets are strong which is nice. Light is sufficiently bright for what I need. Swiveling clip is goofy but it works.

I'm looking at the sprayer, mainly for spraying weed killer on our gravel drive and fence line.

Is there a reason to buy the chemical sprayer over the concrete sprayer or vice versa?

Mine makes some noise. Not all the time. I notice it happening when is not at full rpm.
Dont think it's the motor. It's in the gearbox of the trimmer head. The motor is back by the battery,

It doesn't make sense to buy it at all. I LOVE my Milwaukee, but they don't have the sprayer priced right. I was hoping for a promo on it, but never happened (yet). My plans are to buy the Ryobi backpack sprayer. Only costs $150 for full setup w/ battery. If I need another tank, it's only $150 & I can have two people spraying at the same time. If the price dropped to $200, and refill thanks were $100, I'd probably then consider.

How do you like them? I’ve never read anything good about Milwaukee’s pliers.
I think they are fine for nuts or bolts . Anything without a hex I round use different pliers. Not a lot of surface area and only 2 of the 4 jaw sections are serrated.
