That seems likely. Perhaps the one key mode on the factory robots was on the wrong setting... lololol

That shouldn't be a big deal, the screw that tightens the coupler to the tube must not have been torqued tight enough. There really isn't anything in there that should go bad if that happened, it's only a solid shaft that is held in with that coupler.

What noises are you guys hearing? When you are only holding the power head with no attachment, there should be a slight noise when the motor comes to a stop. This is only the "cogging" effect from the brushless motor coming to a stop.

I bought a bunch of Packout boxes at the end of last year, largely because I was getting great deals, and I had decided that the way I was moving stuff around was just not working for me.

I bought four "low profile organizers":
https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Storage-Solutions/PACKOUT/PACKOUT-Organizers/48-22-8436

along with a large assortment of other stuff. everything else has lent itself to use, but these four boxes remain stubbornly empty. they are too shallow for something like a tape measure, and dont hold enough to use it as a "useful variety of screws" kind of thing.

so, those of you who bought some, what are you using them for?

I bought a couple and use them for various low voltage/network components. I also tried them for screws, wire strippers etc, but too small a capacity.

They work for the low voltage but damned if I can find any other usage.

LoL —- gotta stop that “...well I can get the next discount is I spend $x.** more.” Thinking:lol_hitti

I tried using one of those low profile packouts for my sewing kit... didn't hold the big bobbins... so … there went that idea... I honestly have no idea where I put the organizer at this point...

Meter probes... great idea Visitor... If I find it... I will give it a shot.

So yesterday I ran the fan on low from 9a to midnight on a 12.0. I went to swap the battery this morning and found it still had 3 bars. Crazy.

Granted on low it doesn't move much air; I kept meaning to switch it to medium yesterday and just never got there.

I may have made a 12ah Milwaukee battery go bad while using on my Ryobi fan. Had 5 or so days use in the truck during the day, and then of course quit at some point. Now it flashes red & green on the charger. I'm sure it's the adapter to blame, but wondering if it was possible the battery was being used in such a low draw situation, it was more likely to fully deplete beyond charging.

had a idea that im sure could work but would be nice .

We all use small portable jump box's to get 12v engines to fire up. wonder if they would make something that a 12.0 battery could go on that had jumper cables and could be used as a jumper box that last for some time. just saying.

also , where is the cordless bottle jack? think that would be awesome for using in place of a porta power also.

I don’t think there’s nearly enough amperage available in even a 12.0 to jump a car. The jumper packs use LiPo batteries, which can deliver a lot more amperage, but they don’t have as much energy density as the LiIon cells used for power tools.

Agreed. You'd need several.

Putting it back together wasnt a issue, nothing appeared damaged.

I was more concerned about the vibration and noise from the motor end. Sounds like there a bunch of gravel rattling around I there.

Just warranty it.

I doubt the adapter is to blame at all, the battery should self-protect, period

Have you tried it in a rapid charger? One of my batteries when depleted didn't want to charge on the regular charger but worked on the rapid charger. Waiting on the super charger for all my 12.0 batteries

Was at Home Depot on Sunday and see they still had some sales on the Milwaukee M12 & M18 stuff. Picked up the M12 two battery, charger, bag, and a free multi tool for $99.00.

Well I have used the wider thin one for random wire nuts and screws that I keep with me for the random one and two stuff but I was thinking about ordering them and using the kizan foam and using them for like pliers and screw drivers. Want to sell yours?

Went into Rural King for some Gorilla Glue and an HVAC air filter.. and they did a major reset of Milwaukee stuff.. Kicked Irwin out, and had a whole wall of Milwaukee expendable tooling, saw blades, etc. Found this over in the new area that this move opened up in power tools... Happy Father's Day (belated) to me... 2113-20

True that low profile limits usefulness but it makes a lightweight box. I use a large low profile to store my Dreme! Accessories. And use the smaller ones to hold picture frame hooks for inside.

Just talking outloud......awaiting Gen 2 nailers. What I would not mind seeing, even if Dewalt came out 1st (like their OPE or framing/brad nailers) is a cordless 23 pinner...to replace my Grex and I'll be all good without a compressor ;-)

Grabbed another M12 compact 3.0 2 pack (clearance $80 before coupon) as I got a $10 pro coupon yesterday which was perfect timing. Added a old style organizer which are still on sale for $20. Finally have a nice stash of 6 M12 compact 3.0s.

last night I stopped by the local home depot, and found two of those 3.0AH/charger two packs for 70$ each. one was in the clearance section, and one was dropped on a display near an endcap.

not that I need additional batteries . . . . but they were within what I would pay for them, and there were only two packages. I know I would have regretted not buying the second later . . . .

Is the only difference between the 2767-20 and the 2863-20 the one key thing? I may be purchasing a new 1/2 high torque and want to why the newer one is 50 bucks more. Power ratings are the same and doesn’t seem to be any major sofferences

Yes the 2863 is the one key version of 2767, no other difference.

Agree on the pinner. I just grabbed the Ryobi and a chinese M18 battery adapter. Honestly, I've considered selling the M12 nailers, they just aren't up to speed with the NiCad DeWalts I used to own, let alone their newer units.

Milwaukee otherwise does well.

There's an M12 nailer? The only thing I was aware of was the palm nailer and the stapler.

Better hope KC doesn’t see that link. His whole house will be Milwaukee branded.

Found that a few years ago. I already have shirts, a sweatshirt (it runs small) and the hats are **** - I think I threw them away after I got tired of the dog playing with them. I think i have like 8 or 9 Milwaukee shirts including the quick dry ones..

So there were two of these at my local store in a clearance area on the back aisle.

Like you, I don't need them, but they are within what I would pay.

I only bought one. I had no regrets until I saw your post.

Now I am thinking: do I need to go down there and see if the other one is still there.

Bad influence indeed!
