I use mine quite often and reach for it often. I grab a 6 amp battery for tougher jobs but the 2 amp and 4 amp batteries will work

I'm really thinking hard on the m12 circular saw and free battery for 149. Considering all the restrictions on discounts and coupon use on product w free battery, does anyone think there will be a better deal on black friday? Thanks for your input!

I picked up 4 of the smaller Packout organizers. Ace Hardware has them for $19.99 on sale. H.D. matched. Might go back for some more.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that's an 18v saw just cause it says fuel on it. I'm sure it will be fine on a few bolts, but the cheapest M18 sawzall will outperform that m12. Have realistic expectations.

A couple observations and a question
That Super Sawzall is freakin heavy! I had been using an old Dewalt 18v XRP type recip. saw. Dewalt is 4# 12oz and the Milwaukee is 8# 12oz! These are bare tool numbers. I'm glad I'm gonna get the M18 Fuel Hackzall for small stuff because the Super Sawzall is too heavy for me. I'm sure it will really gnaw things up though.
Why are some circ saws Right sided blade and some Left sided blade?
Reason I ask, is I would prefer a left sided blade. If the M18 Fuel was Left bladed I would be all over it, but it's worth it to me to get the rear handled just for the left sided blade.

Yeah, it'll cut through bolts, but it takes some time. It does fewer strokes per minute and has half the stroke length of an M18 fuel sawzall. I really like mine, but it's a more special use saw than a regular sawzall. It's great for one handed work when you need the other hand to hold the work. And for working in tight spaces, and there the shorter stroke length is nice since your not as likely to have issues with the tip of the blade hitting something beyond what your cutting.

Circular saws used to be right handed mostly so your arms weren't crossing over the blade. Worm drives were left handed because of the gearing. Cordless tossed all that out the window and it's a toss up for blade preference anymore.

Gezus its the blade that will most of work I've cut bolts and 2" x 1/4" square tubing the tiniest of the Milwaukee Hackzalls. But bigger is always better for speed and performance.
Buy a 2730 6 1/2" Fuel for left side blade IMO not much of difference between that one and the 2731 really, will do most everything u need

As others have said dont use any pole saw from a ladder apart from getting knocked of the ladder by falling branches they are not something you can use with one hand and as soon as you start reaching away from where your standing you will find it wants to pull you off the ladder. I've the big Stihl petrol pole saw and the biggest pole saw that Silky make and soon found that you need to carefully read how the branch will move as you cut it it's easy to find the branch twisting and trapping the blade which can be quite a struggle to get out of.

It is heavy. However I haven’t found anything to stop it. I also have a Hackzall for small stuff. But for serious work the Super comes out.

So as an update I got a shipping notification from FedEx that I have a package coming from TTI. Guessing that’s my inflator, though they say the package weighs 13.2lbs. Curious. Never heard a word directly from Milwaukee.

The last time I did a warranty service ya I got no notification except for my Fed Ex tracking either.
Go figure.
Still was only 2 week turnaround though (not counting weekends) just like they said

Good to know that's normal I guess. Would be nice to get at least a generic email that they have the tool in their custody, and then letting me know that it's on it's way back to me. By the time it gets to me it will be a 3 week turnaround.

Why not get the M18 saw with the 8.0 battery for $169 instead? Add the saw to the cart and the free battery promo shows up. There may be sales tax depending on your state, but it’s a smoking deal.

Oh man I can't reiterate what I good deal that is...unless you really, really need a lightweight 5 3/8" trim saw for small work or to make an oddball cut I can't imagine not owning this for the #1 saw. The power and weight ratio is amazing and the line of site is great my lefty Makita was always my fav for making a nice cut so I could watch line more closely but using this one now I rarely pick up the other one.
I eventually have to get another small 5/38" saw though, my old NiCad battery is failing on power and I don't really think I can get another battery for it. I kind of wish Milwaukee would release one on the 18v platform for some real power though

Last year I bought the new 2621 brushed sawzall for just $99 with a "free" 5.0 battery offer. I have no regrets though for as much as I use a sawzall it makes short work of anything I thrown at it. I'll probably never use my corded Makita again.And guess WHAT...I get to use it today
I need to cut out a double plank wall in the big ol' barn to make a new wider doorway so we can fork unload and pallet jack skids of packing materials into a new storage area I re floored with CDX ply a couple of weeks back.
Using the 2731 circ saw and the 16 ga 2742 nailer made super fast work of getting the floor down in place for some solid nailing after that.
Had the 2130 tripod tower and the old 2361 to light the old barn too

Can somebody refresh me on what improvements Milwaukee did with 2732 circular saw over the original 2731 Fuel.
Its such deal I my have to get it but I need a good reason

Thanks for the replies on my quest for the M12 circular saw. I realize the M18 is a much more capable saw. I'm looking at the weight of the saw, which is why I'm looking at the M12. I think it will do what I need.

Thats classified... holding onto that for the day i run into an actual milwaukee person that can get me something in return for that info.. its fits right into a trade they currently target..
Also makes a great tool to get fires going..

Does anyone have a review of the Milwaukee m12 soldering iron? I’m looking for one to use in the parking lot at home without dragging out extension cord and all the other stuff

As was said above it works. It’s big and bulky to hold. Where I do like using it is as a 3rd hand, standing up with an XC battery. Using my hands to hold the solder and wire and bringing them to the iron. If I was buying today I would buy the Ryobi version. It’s dual powered wall or battery. From there it’s a pretty standard config. Base station with temp controls, sponge, and iron holder. Then the iron is on a cord.
Im in the opposite boat, I wanted the M18 because that's a ******* super deal (better deal than the M12 for sure) but I dont really need it. I only do a few things per year that I need a circ saw for and all of them very basic, but I just got an M12 stubby which I use daily and the 6.0 would compliment that so well. I'm so torn...anyone know how long these deals are good for?
Anyone know if Milwaukee is going to come out with a 7 1/4" Fuel blade left circ saw? I have the 6.5" Fuel blade left saw and really like it. I don't want to start a blade right/blade left argument, I just prefer blade left.
Also I don't think there is a 6.5" Fuel blade right saw. Anyone else think it is strange they have one size saw blade left and the other size saw blade right?
