Sadly I gave away my CM gas leaf vac as the extra giant moving truck was full and I used the move to purge all gas OPE.

I'm about ready to spring for the Ryobi.

Yeah thats probably gonna be the truth, and while I will B&M I will still buy it, already dying to get a deal on the best laser and it better fit my bosch tripod or I will B&M about that lol

If/when Milwaukee releases a lawn mower, it'll likely be overpriced like their lasers.

Then, to add insult to injury, the mower will quickly evolve through Gen IV like their ratchets...



If/when it comes out, the fanboys better look at it really close.

I'd just put some adapters and wires on the Ryobi and post it on the Milwaukee social media channel...

Yeah I was on the M18 inflator rant on the seperate thread few weeks ago. The M12 inflator stuggled to get my Load D trailer tires to max PSI, perhaps using it on the trailer during the move is what threw off its gauge. The M12 inflator is great for what it is, but considering Milwaukee is so trade focused, that market needs an M18 inflator not a homeowner M12 one.

Well then I want to put in my millionth request again for an M18 inflator. No, not the compressor. A smaller form factor, no tank, and can take Load Range E tires to 80 psi. The M12 is joke for anything other than an Accord

And Dacan, you're what marketers call an early adopter. But if guinea pigs float your boat, er well....just be sure they're consenting

I saw that when I looked at the ratchets a few days ago and was confused what it was, didnt pay attention. Thought it was a replacement part or swap you could use on the 1/4, replacement part available out the gate like the packout wheels they knew would break fast lol.

Seriously an upgrade part. Why cant they balance the best desired features to make a perfect tool.

Just happened to notice this on their NPS presentations if not in the marketing Milwaukee vids..Maybe it's just because they think men like watching the brunettes working the snake...

Has anyone actually done a scientific check on when charging batteries on either standard or regular charger, whether it be from led #2 to #3 or when led #4 is red just right before it starts to -blink-, etc, what charge rate is it relative to the batteries itself

Not that I've seen, but would like to see it to put some factual info out there instead of all the assumptions.

Where are you all buying batteries that are affordable? Any Milwaukee battery deals?

You probably want to run 8.0s or larger on that thing, it does certainly eat batteries. I run the 9.0s on mine since they came with my other Milwaukee OPE stuff and I get what I need for run time out of the 9.0s most of the time.

You will need at least 2 of whatever you want, plus a fast charger. I'd get 3 and the 2 bay fast charger.

With the speed that the leaf blower ***** down a battery, I really don't understand how a cordless lawn mower would have a chance. It would need at least 2 8Ah batteries in parallel or 4 in series/parallel ("36 volts"). Screw that noise.

Agree... I don’t ever see a M18 mower coming. Most of the cordless mowers are 40V and more, with a bigger battery format.

I think you're thinking too much (or too little) into it. If someone is giving a presentation on a tool, they are usually the marketing expert on that tool.

Gave the M12 RA Die Grinder a good workout this weekend, and wish I’d got it years ago!!!

One thing I picked up on a YouTube review is the way the collet works... loosen the collet nut, spin it till it stops, then give it another nudge with the wrench, and it positively opens the collet! No more stuck shafts! Great feature... but frustrating if you don’t know!

The other thing I did was grabbed a set of cheap stubby wrenches for my die grinders... had to grind one of them a little thinner, but a way better feel in the hand!

Seems like each of my three die grinders all have different wrench sizes! Might need to color code them next!

Just a Husky set... $16. (Harbor Freight has a cheaper set, but it doesn't have the sizes needed.)

M12 RA uses a 1/2 and 11/16


My HF RA uses 7/16 and 11/16



HF straight uses 9/16 and 3/4 ...had to grind the 3/4 flat on one side, but all the others fit as they come, and the little extra width actually makes them stay aligned better on the collets than those flat pressed wrenched that come in the box. The shape of the stubby, with the box end in the palm of your hand just have a way better feel and control. These 5 wrenches now hang on a hook over my bench so they are always within reach.

Fellow M12 inflator users, I have a great upgrade for you. The screw on valve I've never been much of a fan of. It works, but not my preference. Searching around eBay and I came across an inexpensive adapter to provide a clip on valve adapter. There are other solutions that add extra length to the hose, but I much prefer this adapter instead. Mine finally arrived today and I couldn't be more satisfied with the clip on adapter.

I doubt it, I looked at it and it is really tight in there. You would probably need to redo the cover for the batteries to make it work. Possibly even redo the battery hookups as well.

Whats being debated is why Dewalt discontinued the 40v OPE to only then make a 20v x 2 battery OPE, and why its not a flexvolt mower. The whole flexvolt thing was a stupid idea IMHO, and they kinda havent done much since the first year or so of it, so perhaps they are going away from the 60v flexvolt debacle?

But the sad thing is Dewalt is on Gen2 of a mower vs Gen0 Milwaukee.

Though Dewalt coming out with a 2 battery mower give hope to a M18x2?

So I've wanted a rotary die grinder with the speed I've seen this unit produces. Said I wasn't coming back to Milwaukee due to previous issues bu this unit is calling my name.

Why should they have to buy 40v or 60v batteries when they already have piles of 20v batteries that are essentially the same on the inside just wired up differently. And I'm guessing they went 2x 20v for a few reasons. They can use their already existing 40v motors and electronics. It's easier on the batteries since they aren't having to supply as many amps. And it helps with the idiots that will try to run it on 1.5ah batteries and then complain that it doesn't have any power and kills batteries to fast.

Actually unless the details are incorrect, the mowers only require 1 battery to run, the second battery is for extra run time. Perhaps there would be a difference in power with only 1 connected, who knows.

Also whats Dewalts biggest battery, is the 10ah battery a new release with this.

Yes, they are definitely more helpful with the clip on chuck. I added them to mine and dad's a month or so ago. I bought the adapters that have about a 4" extension on them though.

For all you packout Fans.......just noticed this as I was messing with my -older- Red Large Parts Organizer and the Packout Large Organizer. The bins inside are the same size so I was just swapping/rearranging them.

The plastic on the -new packout bins- I have are def. -thinner- than my older one. Noticed this when I was swapping them, the newer ones had more give to it

Next time i'm at Homers, which may be like 2-3 months from now, I will checkout the older non packout parts container box and the -bins- and compare to the bins in the packout.

Off to grab my packouts parts boxes now to compare the -bin plastic thickness- to see how that compares

Not really; does one use the batteries you keep at work vs. home? Any times you prefer to lessen your load of tools you carry?

Since they're non-surge, you may find them handy for zipping small fasteners off and on. All depends on what you need.
