There may be some H96A s/n models around that were before the redesign.

I am checking today, if I luck on one I am grabbing it, if not they can keep it.

Sorry I did not see the other thread.

Paging Rusty -

I don't have much -Wiki- on 3D printed stuff. See the filament and also some unevenness of a -line- in the area in the pic.
Is it a weak spot down the road or it's just how 3D stuff kinda looks

what 3D printers are you guys using? I think I might be in market for one now after seeing some of the cool stuff people build for their Milwaukee collection.

Hmm, can you post a zoomed out pic of that as well as maybe the other side of it? I'm no 3D printing expert myself but I have made models and printed stuff from scratch that I actually designed. That being said, I haven't gotten too heavily into the QC area of the print. I've had 1 or 2 things print like that and work fine but they were fairly thick. If it doesn't go all the way through to the other side or follow the natural lamination lines, it should be ok.

I'm using a Creality Ender 6 Core XY printer.

I don't see it on the other side . I only just happened to notice it as it was eye-level. Had it propped on the table and spied the filament. Upon closer look, once can spot the-line- in question

Seller got back to me. The -defect- he states is just the seam where the 3D printer restarts each layer.
All is well. As a car detailing NERD, it really is nice to have a stubby nozzle as part of the arsenal.......well, to also go along with my new Red Toy Dual Battery blower. Who doesn't like clean and shiny things

Used the M18 inflator to just do a general top off since the temps are dropping. I will have to get a tire gauge to see how accurate it is...
And or drop 2 tires to 26PSI, and then connect the M12 and M18 to time them. They do function differently though.

For example, the M12 might take 30 seconds or so to do the same function on inflating to IME
The M18 seems faster but also different. It literally was like 6 seconds of inflating, then a quick-slow release. It basically does a larger inflate and then deflate to pressure.

Had 2 rears tires replaced today. Got home, broke them loose and retorqued to spec.
Deflated the tires to spec and since I was at it, decided to just get the new M18 inflator and just top of all the tires....

It is -slightly- different in use than than M12. I also have ALOT more M18 batteries.
Speedwise is a bit faster on the M18. It appears to inflate air faster but then it overshoots it by about 3psi, and then it deflate to set pressure. I like ;-)

Milwaukeee recently introduced a new neck lamp. But only 400 lumen max and uses a proprietary battery instead of an inexpensive 18650 or 21700 cell. The deal killer is the price: $99.

That is the same battery they use on their rechargeable head lamps and flashlights. My only complaint is that they charge very slow in the headlamps. They all use USB micro instead of USB-C.

I have an Anycubic Chiron, enjoy it quite a bit and have used the larger build area.

I'd go for the DeWalt DCF900 instead.

I went more into it on the specific thread we have going on it.

I lucked out and found an A next town over, but still not real happy with how this came about in the first place. If I did not already have a ton of stuff that ran on red batteries I would have changed, and it would have likely been yellow.

My brother works for an Amazon/ Ebay reseller. They're not authorized Milwaukee retailers, but they had a couple old stock HO 12.0 batteries that had been sitting around for about a year. He wasn't sure what the price would be, but I told him I would take one, and he delivered it to me a few days ago, still unsure of what the price would be. Today I got a text from him with the price, and that it was buy one get one free, so he had another for me.

So I ended up getting not one, but TWO HO12.0 batteries for...

$60. I'm just here for my obligatory "you ****!" 😁😁

And before anybody asks: no, he doesn't have any more.

Might be the easiest "you ****" I've ever given on this site!

$5 an amp hour. Beats the $10 per hour benchmark. You definitely ****.

Pfffft...

Suckage revoked. Even if you can **** yourself, you should let others do it for you.

So I was thinking of buying an auger setup to drill holes in my back yard next to trees. I want to install some deep root watering kind of deal since the drought here is getting bad. I was wondering if Milwaukee had something like that in the M18 platform. Not exactly but this guy is using a mud mixer for ice fishing with an augur bit. You guys think this would work for drilling 2 feet deep holes into soil so I can install some root watering systems for some of my trees?

Yep, the mud mixer in that video:
That is the kit version but this should match up against that DeWalt fairly well.

I haven't actually checked the specs myself but I figure if it goes through ice just fine, maybe it will go through hard soil just fine too? I think I'd just need the right augur for my soil type?

I would expect the 60V drill to have more power than a 18V drill, but manufacturers don't always publish power specs in watts. Maybe a 18v drill will get the job done for you. The 60V Dewalt is supposedly 300W.

For the past few years I have been using a 3" x 24" auger in hard soil with a 120V Bosch drill rated at 6.0A 720W, and its performance has been acceptable. My 4.4A 120V Milwaukee Holeshooter drill was not acceptable with the auger bit. But I don't want to totally wear out this Bosch hammer drill and recently ordered a 120V 10A corded DeWalt drill to use with the auger bit.

Maybe an SDS drill would work?

I have been contemplating getting a chuck adapter for my bull ********* m18 sds plus to run an auger. It seems to have a lot more power than my m18 drill.

Used it yesterday with a long 3/4 SDS drill bit to get some Halloween decorations setup. No way the flimsy plastic stakes on these decorations were going to take getting pounded into dry rocky soil.

I have an SDS already actually. I wonder if that is more suited to the augur duty than the mud mixer would be. That being said, this would give me an excuse to buy the mud mixer....

you shouldn't need an excuse to get the mud mixer... now I am trying to figure out how to justify it too. No ice fishing up where I live :(
