I was going to have a garage built. It was supposed to be done by now, but I had contractor issues. I found a new contractor that was going to be able to build it next month. However, I cancelled everything with him because I found a building for sale Friday and I ended up putting an offer in on it and it was accepted.

The building is a 40x80 with 16 foot ceilings. It even has a loading dock! And, it's going to cost about the same or less as a 32x56 with 12 foot ceilings was going to cost. Hopefully, we'll be closing on it in a couple of weeks.

Well, it's all mine. We closed on it last night.

I also found a good price on a Toyota FGC-35 forklift. It'll be delivered on Saturday.

Congratulations! That shop looks enormous and really clean. What will be your main use for it?

I have a white 1967 and a blue 1968 Firebird. The 67 bird is a rust bucket and needs major body work, but I've had it since I was 19 and have to fix it.





The 68 bird is just the uni-body, but it is rust free. However, it has collision damage form the previous owner.



So, my main purpose is for working on my cars. I'll also be working on other personal fabrication projects.
