Being an AMC guy I'm kind of partial to this color. It's called Blue Poly.
I'm also very glad that Seymour still offers it as part number EN-66.
Then new gaskets, core plugs and generous coat of this gorgeous color.

Hey thanks AMCguy! I've got a 68 Rebel SST 343 in storage waiting to be restored. I had no idea they still make that colour. I love that shade of blue. Very striking on the valve covers.

You could paint that engine any old color at all and it would look good!
For muscle cars I would say my favorite is Mopar's street hemi orange. I think it was one of the best looking colors on an engine. Not only that, but Mopar had painted engine bays (not blacked out) that are body color. I think this made them even better to look at. The poster's AMC engine looks great too. However, my second pick might be the Dusenburg green. That is pretty beautiful.
