Being an AMC guy I'm kind of partial to this color. It's called Blue Poly.

I'm also very glad that Seymour still offers it as part number EN-66.

Then new gaskets, core plugs and generous coat of this gorgeous color.

Hey thanks AMCguy! I've got a 68 Rebel SST 343 in storage waiting to be restored. I had no idea they still make that colour. I love that shade of blue. Very striking on the valve covers.

I normally hate anything in an engnie bay that isnt bare metal or silver thats been clear coated

However, There is nothing wrong with a splash of red

For muscle cars I would say my favorite is Mopar's street hemi orange. I think it was one of the best looking colors on an engine. Not only that, but Mopar had painted engine bays (not blacked out) that are body color. I think this made them even better to look at. The poster's AMC engine looks great too. However, my second pick might be the Dusenburg green. That is pretty beautiful.

Stock 392. This was taken last Sep. when I did a reseal job to it. But when I was driving it to work, the oil cooler hose popped out at the cooler. I didn't catch in time to shut the motor down, before I lost all the oil. Luckily I only seized the #1 & #2 CR bearings. Now it's completely torn down waiting for the machine shop. The day I was assembling it back together, I let a CR hit the #7 cylinder wall. So now I'm going to have it punched out .030 over, a ISKY-190125-26 cam, and aluminum intake. This is of course after my left hand is usable again (work related accident), and an inheritance comes in.
