I love the space, man. Great decorating. Makes me want to consider the memorabilia/kitsch route when it's time for me to decorate my barn. What part of W. Mass are you from?

Excellent... when you built it did you get a liquor license along with the building permit? I've been in bars that didn't look that nice.

Hey a garage is a place to park and work on cars...thats not what that is !! LOL

Exactly. That looks like a great place to lounge, drink beer, shoot pool and Bull ****. That is NOT a place to do any serious work beyond wiping on a little armor-all or Windex. Don't get me wrong. Great place but that is not a working garage.

Man, some of you guys are coming across as kind of judgmental. He has a bike, which is small compared to a car. I imagine that plenty of work can be done to a bike in that space.

I like it as well -- nice hangout to get away from everyday life. Wouldn't want to do bodywork in there, but for simple wrenchin' -- just move the carpet, roll over the tool cart, and get going. Nice job!!!

I had to post some old photos of my Jeep in progress.
I always use my garage to do all my work on my vehicles.. It's a garage!
I'll hang a barrier to avoid getting to much **** from getting to the pool table area and I do park my Jeep on the rugs, I do most of the work like sanding, torch work or welding outside. Here are some more pics.

Great place. Is that a Shaefer Beer sign hanging on the front porch?
We used to drink a alot of that(cheap) in college. I have a welcome Shaefer People sign in my garage.

Oh, and like was already mentioned, ignore the 'not a real working garage' police on here.

It's at the V.F.W. in my town.
I stopped there to take a few pics there this memorial day, I'm going with a navy theme for my jeep. It's a 1953 CJ3B.
I also have a Bantam trailer to go with it.

I just picked this up. Original Gulf dealer, porcelain on steel, two sided.
Free, the guy couldn't wait to get rid of it.

Nice flatfender ! I used to be into Jeeps back in the day ! I had a 46 CJ2 and a 54 Willys P/U. They were fun to drive. The last one was a 71 CJ5. Had a brand new steel tub, full cage, I just never got it together and I sold it cheap to a guy that I knew. I had a turbocharged V6 out of a T Type Regal with a 350 turbo already set up in the frame and just lost interest. I still love those flatfenders though. Maybe if I win lotto someday...

Cool! I had a '53 Willys. I currently have a '98 but have my old vanity plate '53 JEEP' on the new jeep. A girl in her 20's saw it and commented I looked good for someone born in 53 (I was born in 62 <sob>).

Man that is an awesome little man cave you have going there! What do you keep in the large office file cabinet (that you painted red)? Magazines? Books? Service manuals? Parts? Oh the humanity.. I must know!

Seriously that is one cool hangout. Does it stay pretty toasty in the winter? Didn't know if you could go into exile there and shoot pool all night if the wife/gf/etc was hassling you. :)
